“Hershey had a wonderful time visiting Christina P.! She kept in touch with us each day, letting us know how Hershey was doing which eased any worries I might have had and she sent us some great pictures of him!”

“Sarah was amazing with Tank. We were worried as he shows some early signs of anxiety and guarding and had never been left anywhere overnight before, but he took well to Sarah and her family. She was stern in helping him learn how to behave and helped give us tips as well on how we can continue to train him! She was easy to talk to and gave great feedback daily on his wellbeing and growth. We will definitely be rebooking with Sarah again!”

“Marissa is always thoughtful and sweet with my boy, Blue. When we have to leave him, he knows he gets to have a sleepover with his pal Marissa, and it’s like a mini dog vaca for him too. We have such a better time knowing that he’s in great hands!”

“Alex was so great with my dog Cora! She's a newly adopted rescue, so I was nervous about how she would handle a new place/person but Alex helped her settle right in. She even made a few new doggy friends while she was there! Alex kept me updated on her & sent me pics, which definitely helped with my anxiety about her adjusting. I will definitely be booking Alex again next time I have to go out of town.”

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra care. ⭐ Puppy training (basic obedience, focus work, and tricks) ⭐ Senior and palliative care experience ⭐ Fostered rescue dogs through local humane societies ⭐ Experience helping to run a boarding facility ⭐ Farm-raised with lifelong horse and animal experience ⭐ Comfortable with medications and special routines ⭐ Loving, family-oriented environment with plenty of attention and cuddles My love for animals started on the farm and through 4-H, where I learned responsible animal care from an early age. My parents operated a quality Dachshund breeding program, giving me experience with puppy development and socialization. I've spent years pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, and I've had horses my entire life. One of my greatest privileges was caring for our beloved Labrador through her golden years, providing palliative care until she peacefully passed at 13. I understand that every pet has unique needs and deserve patience, love, and individualized care. When your pet stays with us, they won't just be watched—they'll be loved, spoiled, and welcomed as part of the family. I am a stay at home mom who loves being active. As a family we spend lots of time outside playing and enjoying what our 40 acre home has to offer. Inside pets are family members who live in the house WITH us. Couch time is always available with additional beds if the pup prefers their own space. We live away from the hectic lifestyle that most have and love it that way. We have a large area for dogs to run and play by themselves if they prefer or can spend time with our two friendly dogs who love to play even more.I offer crates if needed. Pets are more than welcome make themselves comfortable on the furniture or bed. Medications or speciality diets are no issue.
“Alyx was great. She was very flexible and accommodating (we needed to ch age drop off time after making the booking and she was great about it). She took Bret care of our pupper. Will definitely book with her again.”

“Breanna has been an absolute lifesaver! Her flexibility was quite remarkable. But, on to the dogs— she’s like a dog whisperer lol. My very difficult and reactive dog took to her immediately and my senior dog was comfortable as well. My dogs were well cared for, no doubt about it. I will definitely use her again.”

About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. Now that I live here in Maine, I would like to continue my expertise and passion for animals, and connect with some loveable furry friends. I am an attentive, detail-oriented pet-sitter, who also knows the importance of respecting another person’s living space and maintaining routines for pets. After years of taking care of every size, shape and age of dog, no request from the owner is too wacky. From complicated medication directions to particular night time routines, I know your pet is part of your family and deserves to go about life as usual, despite mom/dad not being home. Reach out, I would love to connect! I work full-time fully remote! So while I will need WiFi and a desk to type on my laptop while I watch your pet, there is always time for walks, snuggles and whatever else your pet needs. My goal when I pet sit is to keep the pet in its normal environment and routine as much as possible. I am always very clean and respectful of any house I pet sit in.
“Excellent Clean and safe surroundings. Nicely fenced yard. Sunny and bright with “Westie” level windows. I didn’t worry a bit about my little girl. Deborah took great care of her and her dog is very nice as well. Eill definitely recommend and reschedule as needed.”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter/doggy daycare, so we were a little anxious and didn't know what to expect. Jennifer was amazing and did such a wonderful job with our pup! We will definitely be asking her to sit him whenever we need the help from now on! What a fantastic experience!”

“We were in need of a replacement sitter for our dog Joey after her lifelong caregiver of 7 years retired. Lauren came through for us in a big way. Her quiet home and gentle nature were perfect for our girl and gave us peace of mind that she was in good hands while we were away visiting family. We will definitely continue to use her services going forward!”

“Had to board Scout last minute due to a death in the family. Chelsea was able to take him! He had a great stay and was happy and healthy when we picked him up! Thank you, Chelsea.”

“Gianni’s had a great time with Lindsey! She was very flexible with drop off and pick up times as well as being a great communicator. We loved the report card that was sent home with him. Will definitely be booking again if we take another trip!”

“I was a bit uneasy at first to use a dog sitting app. 5 minutes on the phone with Matt and I was relieved. We met up a couple days before dropping Brandi off for her first time boarding and Brandi and Matt instantly hit it off and I couldn’t have been happier. Much better than taking a dog to a kennel and one very happy puppy.”
“Gracie seemed to have a great time with her sleepover. I’m sure she had fun with everyone. She was very accommodating considering a last minute booking and then a last minute change. We greatly appreciate all that.”

About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.
“Craig did a great job of babysitting our dog Heiwa for two weeks. We received an update with pictures almost every day we were gone, including pictures of Heiwa romping on the beach with Craig and his dog Penny. I highly recommend him if you need a dog sitter. We will definitely use him again next time we need a sitter!”

“Jen did a fantastic job for us while we were away. As a pet owner with a diabetic cat taking a trip can be very stressful. Knowing Jen will show up timely, handle our cats meds, and give him the monitoring and attention he needs really reduces my anxiety. Thank you Jen!”

“Sarah is wonderful! I completely trust her with my sensitive and sometimes reactive Aussie mix, Gus! I was originally going to have Sarah just come by when I had a long day at work, but Gus has so much fun with her that we started doing regular weekly visits. She is very knowledgable of dog behavior, brings lots of fun and games, and is super easy with communication. I highly recommend having Sarah keep care of your dog!”

About: I am an animal lover who would love to provide care to your pet so you don't have to worry about leaving them at home while you're at work or on vacation! My services include dog-walking, drop-in visits to check on and play with your pup, overnight boarding if you're away on vacation (at my home or yours), or dog-sitting for the day while you're at work. I love hanging out with the doggos and will be flexible with our activities based on their age, activity level and owner preferences. I love exercising and being outdoors so I’m always willing to go for walks or hikes with your dog! “Michaela took wonderful care of my 3 huskies while I was away for the day. She was competent, confident and caring at the meet and greet, and I can tell from her descriptions of my pets’ behaviors in her updates that they really liked her. I would absolutely rebook Michaela and recommend her to others. Great sitter!”

“Jamie was amazing! Perfectly reliable! It felt so good to not have to worry at all while we were away. She took the best care of our two cats. I swear she's a cat whisperer. One of cats is super shy but Jamie was determined to be friends with him. And they did become friends! I received regular updates when she arrived and left our house. She sent us daily pictures. Perfect for high energy dogs - Readfield
About: I have experience with puppies, training, dogs with anxiety, geriatric dogs and more. I also have experience with complex health needs and care in dogs. I work from home as a travel agent. I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. Since I have the ability to be with the dogs all day it made sense to offer my home and a family setting. Our dog Sweety sleeps with us at night and so do our guest dogs. Unless that isn’t happening at home. The dogs we care for are like family during their visit. We live in a very private setting. While we don’t have fencing, we do have a large private yard on a private dirt road. We live on 5 acres.
“Marissa watched our dogs when we went skiing. We felt totally comfortable leaving them with her! They had a great time at her house and she sent us pictures of their day. She was incredibly nice and we will definitely reach out again!!”

My puppy absolutely adores both of them tremendously!! I would highly recommend Tyler for your dog sitting needs. He goes above and beyond!”

“Great communication beforehand and through the day, and then a delightful summary of the day when we picked Tessa up. We were especially grateful for Ilsa's willingness to keep Tessa into the evening so we could have dinner with relatives some distance away.”

“I reached out to Lindsay about 2 months ago hoping to try my two dogs in her care and requested they had time outside, exposure to children and animals, and that they were kept safe. Lindsay has always gone above and beyond, my dogs are excited to get in the car and go to daycare and I’m always provided photos at the end of the day. My puppy has gotten to make other puppy friends and is able to play with her children. Lindsay is always on top of medications and is very flexible to my complex work schedule. She is by far more than I could’ve ever asked for.”

“Our dog Ollie has been going to Chelsea’s for a few months now and it is the best thing we could have done for him. He loves daycare days and it tires him out for the rest of the week!”

“As usual- Liseli was wonderful!! We received wonderful pictures and reports. It was great being able to enjoy a day with family and know that Elvis was getting some special loving of his own!”

“We are so grateful we found Craig to dog sit for our puppy Enzo. Enzo is a highly energetic dog who takes some time to warm up to strangers, however, he took no time to adjust to Craig. Craig kept us updated through out the day with pictures and videos. We could tell right away that Enzo was having an awesome time. When we picked up Enzo he was tired (from all the fun he had with Penny) and overall just calm and happy. We highly recommend Craig for doggy care!”

Shadow was well taken care of and I could tell from the various pictures Marissa provided, he was enjoying his time with her! I would not hesitate to book Marissa again in the future!! About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. In my more recent years I have dog sat for family members and neighbors. I have enjoyed being able to give peace of mind to them knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for. Owning a dog and cat myself I understand the stress and fear of having to leave your pets. Whether it’s work, vacation and other life events it can feel like you’re leaving a piece of your heart behind while you’re away. I strive to bridge that gap and be able to provide peace of mind. My dog is a rescue and came to me with some behavioral challenges: fear, reactivity, resource guarding and separation anxiety. Since being with me he is a thriving boy with manners and is learning new skills and tricks every week! That being said I don’t scare easily and have experience managing a variety of behaviors. I know from experience leaving a pet that has some big feelings at times can be even more challenging and thats where I come in. To offer you peace of mind knowing your dog or cat will be safe and cared for with me. I firmly believe in the saying no bad dogs and would love to get the opportunity to take one worry off your plate while you are away! I have summers off and am able to be around as much or as little as needed for your pet in the summers as that is a busy time for vacations. I do structured schedules with play, train walk and rest times with pets. I can also create scheduled enrichment times throughout our time together. I try to cater what we are doing based on needs of the dog so they are fulfilled.
About: I am just a young 18 year old kid that loves dogs and is looking to spend some more time with them. While also making some money! I am currently taking online classes at the University of Maine Orono and am looking for a part-time job like this to make some money at the same time. Ever since I can remember my family and I have had 2 dogs in our house that each have problems of their own. But we love and care for them no different then we love and care for each other.
“Larrisa was easy to communicate with and came over to do a meet and greet. Cooper and Rusty were so happy to meet her and even happier when she came back the next 2 days to take them on a long walk.”

“Recently Aleisha did dog walking, check ins for over a 6 week period. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. Again we found her to be a true pro and very reliable and respectful. We would have no problem using her again and would recommend her services to anyone who would ask. As a matter of fact, we will be using Aleisha for occasional walks to keep in touch with Sadie and keep their bonds intact. Just such a pleasure to have someone as reliable and trustworthy for both us and our pets.”

About: Your pet's health and happiness is my priority and I will follow instructions to the smallest detail. I absolutely adore all animals! I've grown up with dogs and cats, and have spent at least 3 years pet sitting. I currently own two crazy senior cats who I'm obsessed with. In the recent past I had two sweet and mellow rescue pups. Throughout my childhood I took it upon myself to take care of the family pets. Looking after animals comes naturally to me and you can count on me to be that person at a party who spends more time with the cat than the people. I am available most days and times and am able to be pretty flexible. Weekends can get a little busy but I can fit a visit or two in if needed. Every day I pay attention to the animal's health and mood. I'm quick to notice if something is amiss and take care of it right away while communicating closely with the owner.

About: I am a dog owner myself, to a 14 year old Australian Cattle dog named Edgar. Edgar used to be very energetic and required ample amounts of exercise, though he is still energetic, his old bones make it hard for him to romp like he used to. On top of that, I have an almost two year old who is obsessed with all animals, and think it would be a great opportunity to educate him early on dog safety and etiquette. It would also be nice to have more of an excuse to get out of the house and do something fun together! I have had experiences with many different breeds and sizes. I've been a dog lover my whole life, and I feel the most happy and at peace when I'm around them. I am more often than not the go to care taker for my friends animals when they are away. I am available, M-F 8am-1:30pm I hope you'll consider us to help make your pups life as fun as ours!! Pet care is family care, and that comes automatically. Your pup would be well fed and watered in a timely manner. And they would get and extra dose of love and cuddles free of charge! I care for clients pets as I would my own, which is how I care for my son, with immense amounts of love and devotion :)

“We have had a great experience with Jamie! We have a new baby and a toddler, and getting our dog out for walks sometimes feels impossible. This is our first time hiring a dog walker and she has made us feel so comfortable, and our dog sure appreciates it! Our dog is a little nervous and Jamie has worked hard to make her comfortable going for walks with her. She is very communicative, flexible, and responsive. Cant say enough good things!”
