About: I have been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. From yorkies, to our alaskan malamute, and many shelter dogs, I have seen it all. I have been working professionally with dogs for around a year now. I worked in a doggy daycare setting for 6 months, and have been working at a shelter ever since! These experiences have given me knowledge in how to better understand body language, social cues, behaviors, and fear free handling. Even before professional experience, I have been one of the primary caretakers to our family dogs, medicating, feeding, training, etc, is no foreign task to me:) I understand how stressful it is to trust a random person to take care of your animals, but I promise to care for your animal with the same patience, attention, and love, I give my own:) I currently have a completely open schedule, so I’m available most days and times! Whether you need early mornings, evenings, weekends, or last minute care, I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’m happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means long walks around the neighborhood, playtime in the yard, sticking to a feeding schedule, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship and cuddles, I’ll make sure they’re cared for exactly the way you would. I’m familiar with the surrounding areas and love spending time outdoors, so your pup will get plenty of exercise and enrichment. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress free experience so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in caring and dependable hands.

About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. I pride myself on my attention to detail and focus on making sure your pet/pets are as comfortable as possible. I am currently a student but most of my classes are online so I am very flexible and available pretty much every day of the week currently. I am able to be intuitive and approach every animal with the care and attention that is specific to their needs. I am sensitive to boundaries and always making sure to focus on listening to what they are communicating.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and small animals for three years now. I also have experience with housesitting and babysitting. I work two 12 hour day shifts a week. I am currently working part time two 12 hour days. Dogs go out before I go to work and after. On my days off I am able to spend more time with them. I cannot offer pet sitting in my home at this time. I have three years of house/dog sitting experience as well as cats. I am able to stay at the clients place as needed for pet care.

About: I am an animal lover who would love to provide care to your pet so you don't have to worry about leaving them at home while you're at work or on vacation! My services include dog-walking, drop-in visits to check on and play with your pup, overnight boarding if you're away on vacation (at my home or yours), or dog-sitting for the day while you're at work. I have experience with volunteering at various animal shelters, caring for dogs on Rover for several years, owning several family dogs growing up, and spending time with my parents dog, Boomer (a rescue Shih-tzu yorkie mix), my sisters dog Lola (a mini schnauzer) and my in-laws’ golden retriever, Remi. As of June, we also have a golden retriever puppy of our own who adores other dogs, so it is important that your dog gets along with other dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I love exercising and being outdoors so I’m always willing to go for walks or hikes with your dog! Or if they’re older I can stay in and relax with them too 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule and am home a lot so will be able to devote lots of attention to your furry friend. My husband and I live in a home on 5 acres on a quiet rural road in Maine that is perfect for taking dogs for walks or a swim in the pond (if their parents say yes!). Your dog will have plenty of room in the house and on our land to play and go for walks down our quiet road. I also am able to travel to your home to watch your dog too.

About: I have taken care of various different fur babies my whole life. From my grandma’s elderly diabetic cat, to many little baby kittens. Making animals feel safe and cared for makes me feel so fulfilled. I also have been bathing and doing regular grooming since I was old enough to understand how to. I’ve taken in strays and helped regime them or reunite them. I also took in and nursed back to health a kitty that I witnessed get hit by a car. Some special skills that I possess would be I’m very patient loving person who has a very big heart when it comes to animals and I can’t wait to have a future caring for them. I work part-time and do an online education program I’m pretty much free for the rest of day. Currently working on getting my license so I can be more reliable with transportation to get there. About: I started a career in dog care in 2010. I have extensive experience with all dog breeds in boarding, day care, training, grooming and vet tech. About: Working in the veterinary field for 2 years, pursuing animal behavior, as well as training, my love for animals has allowed me accomodate for all shapes and sizes, wether it be rodents, reptiles, fish, cats, dogs, equines and livestock, i have extensive experience with all! Pet care is currently my full time occupation, which ensures most of my time is dedicated to your pets. Wether it’s a walk, or overnights. All pets get personalized care when you’re gone, they stick to their regular routines, adding in extra love to ensure they aren’t sad when their owner is away.

About: I’ve worked at 2 doggy daycares in the last few years where we did boarding. I’ve also worked in a cat boarding facility and have worked at pet stores for about 5-6 years. I was trusted with cleaning up after and giving medications to pets that needed it. I’m currently working part time in Freeport so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets and spend time with them and take them on walks depending on weather. I live in a wooded area with access to tie outs so your pets and I could sit outside on good days and play. I have an extra room in the house where I can easily board your pet but would require you to bring a crate if they’re crate trained depending on the size of the pet. I do have two crates available that I could use if you’re unable to bring their crate. I have 2 cats in the household along with my fiance so they would have to be cat and man friendly.
