About: I have been a vet tech for 22 years and am looking for something I can do to be with my family more. I am great with cats and dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. I have owned cats, dogs, hamsters, rats and rabbits. My schedule would be based on the individual needing pet care. Communication is very important to me and a successful pet sitting experience. About: I’ve been around dogs of all sizes and temperaments since I was a small child. I’m a huge animal lover, and I have experience that ranges from puppies to senior dogs. Also experienced in some livestock care! I work part-time, so I have great flexibility in my schedule. I’m also available most weekends so I have plenty of time to play with your fur baby! I’m incredible attentative and responsible (this includes duty pick up!), knowledgeable on walking dogs of various temperaments and levels of reactivity. Also experienced with a variety of “no-pull” harness styles.

About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I love being outside and on the go! Pets are my favorite friends, so count on tons of attention and loves. I have a comfy pet friendly home so your furbaby will have l lots of toys and comforts! My working hours are only between 10-6 so I'm never unavailable for more than 8 hours at a time. With a break every shift, I'm able to make it home at least once per shift. I'm up early and love to get out for an early morning walk! I'm also near my phone always and ready to keep you posted with photos or answers to any questions you have for me or about your pet. I'm also extremely flexible with dates and times! I'm so excited to shake a paw and get to know your furry friend! I currently work part time at WHOP. I always have Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday off. Otherwise. I only work 10-6 at maximum. I try my best to get home at least twice during that time, but I always make it once. Every situation is unique. I try to keep the routine for your pet as close to what they experience day to day with you as possible. Typically I'll adjust my routine to your pet, I find this keeps them more comfortable and makes the transition both to and from my home easier.

About: I have always had at least one pet in my household—the more the merrier! I have owned cats since childhood and currently have 4. Though I don’t currently have a dog, I love my friends’ and neighbors dogs as if they were my own and constantly drop by the visit and walk them. I am experienced with kittens and puppies as well as older pets. I currently work from home with very flexible hours, so I can usually come by with short notice! If you’d like me to stick around all day, I can bring my laptop and work from your home so that I can provide constant company for your pet. I have very few meetings during the day so I can provide lots of cuddles, walks, play, and attention all day long. I am well attuned to cat and dog body language and know when to provide space, take things slow to gain trust, and when pets are ready to play. I always make sure to keep dogs on leashes when they are outside, and as an owner of two escape artist cats I know to always make sure the doors are closed behind me! I know that pet owners know their pets best, so I will always listen to your experience and input regarding how to best care for your pet.

About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. I pride myself on my attention to detail and focus on making sure your pet/pets are as comfortable as possible. I am currently a student but most of my classes are online so I am very flexible and available pretty much every day of the week currently. I am able to be intuitive and approach every animal with the care and attention that is specific to their needs. About: I’ve worked at 2 doggy daycares in the last few years where we did boarding. I’ve also worked in a cat boarding facility and have worked at pet stores for about 5-6 years. I was trusted with cleaning up after and giving medications to pets that needed it. I’m currently working part time in Freeport so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets and spend time with them and take them on walks depending on weather. I live in a wooded area with access to tie outs so your pets and I could sit outside on good days and play. I have an extra room in the house where I can easily board your pet but would require you to bring a crate if they’re crate trained depending on the size of the pet. I do have two crates available that I could use if you’re unable to bring their crate. I have 2 cats in the household along with my fiance so they would have to be cat and man friendly.

I have been an active volunteer at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society for the past 4 years, and I am a current student in the Catch Canine Academy Master's Program. I am trained and experienced in reading dog body language, calming/stress signals, and play behaviors. I will use this skill set to address and adapt to your dog's temperament and needs from day to day. I have been a trusted pet sitter for friends, neighbors, and family for over 10 years. I have had dogs of my own since I was 11 years old and their health and happiness is my greatest joy! I understand how hard it is to leave your beloved babies in someone else's care (I rarely leave mine for that reason), but you can rest easy knowing that your pet's safety will always be my #1 top priority, with lots of love, patience, and fun to follow! I currently work nights 3-10 pm, so I am available for morning and early afternoon walks/potty breaks. Depending on location, I could possibly be available for a late-night drop-in visit on a case-by-case basis with existing (repeat clients). About: I’ve had pet dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I’ve always loved taking care of them, and being someone that they can rely on. Caring for animals is a big part of my life and something I hope to be forever passionate about! I am working full-time for the summer. I am a college student who will be going back to part time in the fall to finish my last year. I’m mostly free in the evenings and on odd days during the week since I work a rotating schedule.
