About: I have my own pets I take very good care of and would like to extend those services to others! I'm confident in my non professional skills. I do not work and would be available most any time. I am not, however, available on a consistent basis. My only current schedule requirements would be to get my kids back and forth to school. If you would like me to check in on your pets I will be sure to do exactly what they require as well as being a friendly face for them while their person or people are gone. I will communicate with you as much as you need or would like. Our fur babies are so very important to us all and I don't take that lightly. Thanks for considering me to help you with your pets!

About: I am a high school teacher, and I love to take care of animals on the side. Your dogs can hang out in my apartment and get lots of love during breaks. I love taking dogs out on walks and to parks and being active with them. If your dog is shy, that's ok too! I can take them to places where we won't run into many people. I can also come to your home and look after your dog where they might be more comfortable. I have a cat at home, but I am missing my time living with dogs, so I thought that this would be the perfect compromise! I am also available to take care of any cats or other small animals that you may have at your home. I am at work on the weekdays until the late afternoon, but I am super excited to take care of animals on the weekends and in the evenings. I can do whatever works best for both of our schedules. I love having dogs (and cats!) come to my house, but sometimes I think it's easier for them to stay in the environment where they are the most comfortable. I am willing to accommodate what you think is best for your pet.
4. Marissa G.
“Marissa was amazing! As a first time user of Rover, I was not familiar with the process. Marissa explained the steps to follow and accepted my booking even though it was very short notice. She even made sure to fit in a visit prior to the dog walking dates to make sure Shadow and I were comfortable. Shadow was well taken care of and I could tell from the various pictures Marissa provided, he was enjoying his time with her! I would not hesitate to book Marissa again in the future!! Five stars!!!”
5. Amy M.
“Rover knew what it was doing by matching with Amy. She is a second to none pet caregiver. My dog simply loved her from go due to her warm attitude and cheerful demeanor. My dog was fed and walked on time and she provided pictures of her and my pet playing together. Thank you for your service Amy and I look forward to retaining your services again soon.”

8. Thomas G.
“Thomas was our trust worthy dog companion, he started out helping our neighbor who lost her husband who was the main dog walker. Thomas stepped in after Jerry died. Once he showed his diligence, loyalty & love of animals, we recruited him to care for our dogs when we were away. Was very sad when his family moved out of our neighborhood leaving us without a caregiving person for our dogs. He is truly someone to be trusted with your pets., Dependable & reliable. He's a really good kid.”

About: I’ve walked and cared for dogs and cats my whole life, including up to five at one time! I’ve also fostered over the years, with big and small dogs part of my past clients. Moved to Augusta earlier in 2023. I have a hybrid M-F work schedule, so weekends are generally best, but I can often make weekdays work. My neighborhood is not far from a dog park as well. I am in a 2-bedroom apartment that has a decent-sized grassy area outside in front. A few other dogs are in the apartment building. We’ve got an empty guest room if dogs and cats want more space to play and nap. Otherwise, I generally keep the bedroom and living room open.
15. Julie L.
“Julie was an awesome helper when I went out of town. I have a German Shepard and he can be a handful. She did everything I asked, she wrote notes on what they did and was very responsive. Would 100% recommend to anyone who needs a bed sitter.”

About: Since I was a child I’ve had animals, and since I’ve grown up that love has increased into a passion for loving animals no matter how much time, patience, and effort it takes. I have two rescue cats who took months and months to trust me, but I accomplished that and now they couldn’t live without me and can’t wait for me to get home from work so they can get their lovins. And I will treat your animals with the same respect and they will be treated like my own. I have a part time job as a manager at The Paper Store. Which are only 6-8 hour shifts and I will be able to spend times at your home, stop by before and after work and even on lunch if they need me too. Other than work it’s just me my lovely fiance (who definitely wants a part of some animal love) and my two cats. I have pictures of my own kitties and the dogs I had at my parents home, plus some cuties I’ve taken care of from Rover so you’ll see how happy and loved the animals are in my hands. I do not offer in home visits and bringing your animals to my home and that’s only because my cats can tolerate eachother but one of my cats is very food aggressive and I don’t want to put any animals In jeopardy of getting hurt. I do offer stop in visits and long visits to stay at your home if applicable.
17. Lindsay S.

19. JAMES VINCENT H.
“I have known Jamez since he was young. He is one of the most trustworthy dependable people I know. If he commits to something he will always follow through. He has been responsible for my dogs on occasion and was also my pet groomer for quite awhile. His love of animals is so very genuine always putting them first both on a personal as well as a professional level. I would recommend him for any position handling my pet’s needs and feel fully confident with him being in my home at any time. If you are looking for someone with experience and love this is the one you need. He is s the best.”
20. Catherine K.
“I am so grateful I found her! My new work schedule was so hectic and I was exhausted when I returned home. Long walks with my Yorkie (9) and Yorkie-Palm (1) turned to us just standing in the front yard. I knew it wasn't enough. I knew I needed help, my dogs deserved more. That's when I reached out for help and came across Sky in her eye profile. I was nervous at first because I am really protective of my Yorkies. She arrived on time and communicated with me the whole time she is with my pets, which was very important to me. They absolutely adore her! She is loving and patient with my older Yorkie, but also fun and energetic with my pup. I'm also grateful that I can trust her to watch my pets when I have to go out of town. My dogs are not neutered so they don't have many options when it comes to pet hotels. You can tell she has a lot of knowledge about caring for dogs, but what I love is her friendly attitude and the passion she has for what she does. Thanks to her my dogs are well taken care of when I am away and also get the right amount of exercise on the days I don't have the energy to give them the walk they deserve. Again I am so grateful for such a reliable doggy caregiver, I think she is the best and I'm sure your dogs will think so too!”
