About: I absolutely adore animals. I recently got my masters degree in natural resources and am now working for the state in Augusta. I grew up looking after my neighbors' dogs and cats and over the years I have looked after the pets of many of my friends. This always brought me joy and so I would love the opportunity to take care of your furry family members :) I would happily take your dog on walks and hikes, play fetch, and give them lots of love and attention. I promise to treat them as I would my own pets, which means an endless stream of love and attention. I currently workong full-time but work from home 3 days a week, so I have some flexibility in my availability for pet sitting. I recently had to say goodbye to my own sweet dog, so I am available to do drop in visits or walks, and could keep you pets at my house for overnight visits or stay at your house overnight. I will follow whatever instructions you give for caring for your pets within your home. I am happy to take dogs for walks around the neighborhood, or bring them for longer hikes if that is something they enjoy.

About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. About: I have always had at least one pet in my household—the more the merrier! I have owned cats since childhood and currently have 4. Though I don’t currently have a dog, I love my friends’ and neighbors dogs as if they were my own and constantly drop by the visit and walk them. I am experienced with kittens and puppies as well as older pets. I currently work from home with very flexible hours, so I can usually come by with short notice! If you’d like me to stick around all day, I can bring my laptop and work from your home so that I can provide constant company for your pet. About: I have always had dogs and love walking and playing with them. I always share a special bond with dogs, they are so friendly and comforting. About: I have been taking care of cats my whole life from a young age and I have a cat of my own named Frankie who's a Maine coon. There have never not been cats in my home! About: We have always had pets in our home. Besides our own, we regularly watch our neighbors animals as well (dogs and cats). We recently had to say goodbye to our special needs dogs. So we have lots of experience and patience. Both my wife and I work from home so are very flexible with our schedule. About: I've taken care of animals since I was 10. I care for all animals even the fur babies that have anxiety away from home. They will be loved and you will have tons of photos I can pet sit during the early mornings or late at nights. Staying at the animals comfort home so they won't have too much anxiety while you're away. I can care for any animals at the comfort of your animals home. I have been working professionally with dogs for around a year now. I worked in a doggy daycare setting for 6 months, and have been working at a shelter ever since! These experiences have given me knowledge in how to better understand body language, social cues, behaviors, and fear free handling. Even before professional experience, I have been one of the primary caretakers to our family dogs, medicating, feeding, training, etc, is no foreign task to me:) I understand how stressful it is to trust a random person to take care of your animals, but I promise to care for your animal with the same patience, attention, and love, I give my own:) I currently have a completely open schedule, so I’m available most days and times! I am Licensed by the State of Maine for boarding 🐾 I utilize a lot of tools to keep everyone happy, healthy, and safe - kennels, gates, double leashes, double fencing, cameras (indoor and out!) and a very specific routine that I have found works for this little home. Please be aware - dogs need to be kennel trained to board here. I DO use them at feed time, and for nap times as needed, to keep all the dogs in my care safe. I ask that you send your dogs meals pre-packed, or in a reasonable (for their stay) container. Please leave “favorites “ that cannot be replaced at home. This includes beds! I provide fresh, daily, clean toys and blankets, plus raised cot beds. Feed time is 2X per day, with 2X per day “stimulation” snacks prior to nap time. I provide all snacks, but need to know if your pup has a special diet. If your dog has separation anxiety, I really need to know. It doesn’t mean I won’t take your dog, but it DOES mean I have to structure things differently for that particular stay, and rates will be discussed. My own dog has SA, so I understand; I just need the information to plan accordingly.
