About: I live a very active lifestyle, which has been great for being both a dog owner and a sitter! I recently lost my dog of 13 years and am not ready to find my next companion yet. In the meantime, I would love to soak up your pup's love and shower them with affection. I love spending time outdoors and staying active. I hike about 3–5 miles a day, and I have a beautiful lawn and patio area where I spend a lot of time. I work from home and make my own schedule, so I'm free to walk your dog or take advantage of the sunshine whenever it suits us. About: As a lifelong dog owner, I know the importance of feeling confidence in your pet’s care while you are away – for the day or for weeks. I grew up with German Shepards, Labrador Retrievers, Weimaraners, and of course your traditional mutts. I’m comfortable with medium and large breeds with varying degrees of energy and structure needs. In adulthood I’ve dedicated myself to seniors and pups with special needs. My current pack is all neutered males - Riley (12), Vinnie (17), Gilroy (4, Cerebellar Aplasia), and Louie (4, Blind). Everyone in the pack is dog friendly and more importantly I know them well and how to navigate introducing new members. Pack management is a critical and advantageous skill I live in a single family detached home with a large fenced in yard. The dogs are allowed on the furniture. I have extra crates, cots, dog beds, and toys. With a traditional cape style, I can also keep pack members separate if needed, especially at mealtime to keep everyone safe. My home and I have been approved by three different reputable rescues in the last 3 years. I have established relationships with not only my local vet, Dirigo, but also specialists at Maine Veterinary Medical Center. I have experience with high needs behavioral and physical pups. Though I do not think taking in an aggressive dog into the pack for sitting is a good idea, I am comfortable and understand dogs with anxiety that might need some extra time or care. I have experience with dogs paralyzed in the back end, cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly), cerebellar aplasia (no balance), hydrocephalus, blindness, senior needs, puppy needs and training. In the last year my pack has included three more pups (may two rest in peace, and one continue to live his best life with his forever mom) and so I open my home to boarding knowing that my current boys are already okay with new members. If you have any questions please reach out! I work from home five days a week. I work from home full-time and can navigate my schedule most days by the needs of the pack. Without a doubt they can go outside whenever they need. At most during the week I could leave the house from 1-3 hours. I will sometimes need to leave the house for 2-6 hours at a time especially on weekends, but can arrange any accommodation that makes your pup comfortable – free, crate, room etc. All dogs are allowed on the couch and my bed, though not all will sleep on the bed at night. I make sure to have a dog bed available for each pup in the house and have crate options too if individual space makes your pup feel more comfortable. The house is set up so that all living is on the first floor, so there are only two stairs into the home and two stairs off of the deck. During the warmer months I have a dog door for free access to the fenced in yard. However, in the winter months I maintain taking the dogs out at regular intervals. All dogs will be fed safely alone so no issues are allowed to develop. All stairs inside are blocked off either by baby gate or doors (for my blind boy). Pack management is key to safety and with lots of experience I know I can navigate it well.

Relaxing time away can only happen if you can trust that your pets are loved and taken care of almost as good as you😊 I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have a quiet space with lots of grass and woods for playing. My groomer told me there is a need for pet care and I want more pets in my life, so this is perfect for me. I work closely with pet parents to make sure your pet has everything they need to feel right at home. We are outside a lot! I love to walk in all kinds of weather and I love to play outside whenever possible. In addition, I love farm animals too! Your pets are safe in my back yard. I always go outside with the pets and will use a leash if need be. I make pets feel right at home inside our home as well. I have an active schedule, so contact me early if you will be requesting pet care!💕😊 Your pet is always my priority while in my care. I am open to requests for your special pet. I play outside a lot. It’s my favorite! I also take lots of pictures and give plenty of treats.

About: I've had animals all my life, and my current dog for 7.5 years. (Black Lab 74 lbs) He obeys without issue and is full of love. When you meet him he will let you know how happy he is and he will share his love with you. He loves everybody and everything. I'm an Air Force veteran and I take pride in everything I do. I work from home, so I am with my Dog (Black Lab) 100% of the time. I keep my door open so my dog can go in and out as he pleases. I'm a full time dog caretaker. My dog gets along with every living creature big or small. So any visitors will have the time of their life. My dog will also be with me on walks, making friends with all the other dogs. I have a fully fenced in yard, plenty of toys, a plastic dog pool for the warmer months, and shelter and inside access for the colder months. I DO NOT feed dogs human snacks. Milk-bones are the only treat I share with unknown dogs. If you authorize other treats just let me know! =)

About: I've had cats my whole life.. they make life better and it's a big responsibility as well. I have taken many older cats in from the shelter and foster fails and they had great lives with us.
