I had to travel for work one week and my husband works long hours at the hospital, so we hired Deborah to walk our puppy during the day. I was nervous because he is still young and this was is first experience with a walker. Deborah was so caring and patient with him! She followed all our instructions, came exactly when scheduled, and throughly documented each visit. It really put my mind at ease when I could see her visit reports and pictures while I was traveling. We will not hesitate to hire her again!”

About: My siblings would ask me to babysit their dogs while they were away, and I always made it a point to leave their homes as I found it. I’ve worked in childcare and taught karate for three years now (not saying is the same thing) so your pet will be receiving the attention and play they need. Karate lessons too if they’d like🙌! I work part time at a martial arts school. Tuesday and Thursday nights I am working for certain. Throughout the day I’m available to walk/babysit/etc. I have work on my laptop so I can take whatever I need to a home and house sit at the same time. I always want to keep an eye on them, making frequent checks to see how they’re doing. I’d like to be informed of any quirks or habits I should be aware of so the pet is comfortable and receives the best care possible. If they want to play, I’m so ready to play!

Rover is something I do on the side, because honestly, one job’s worth of animals just isn’t enough for me. Senior dogs and anxious pets hold a special place in my heart. About: Ever since I was little, I have a huge heart for dogs. It wasn’t until I was 10 that I finally had a family dog, and from then on dogs have always been a part of my life. I’ve done personal dog-sitting on and off for a few years for some friends and family and I’ve always really enjoyed it. I did Rover a few years ago and loved it, but life got a bit crazy so I had to pause it. I was still able to consistently dogsit for some repeat customers these last few years, and now my wife Linsey joins me in that! Your dog can expect walks at the park or in our neighborhood and for my home to be their home. If your dog likes play dates, my Rover friends would certainly be about it! My normal job is pretty flexible on where I can work, so if your dog needs extra attention, working from home is totally doable. Between me and Linsey, at least one of us is always home. I’ve done Rover on and off for the last 8 years, and have really enjoyed it! My job is super flexible, with set hours only 2 nights a week and once during the day. I’m mostly working from home or at coffee shops, so it’s super easy to stay home with a dog. Between me and my wife, someone can pretty much always be with your pet. Our home is your dog’s home. If they want to go on the couch or follow us around, by all mean. If they like their space, I’ll give them space. Many dogs have taken a snooze on our couch, legs in the air.

About: I’ve taken care of a few dogs in the past few months, I’ve also help master some of the basics training. I keep the pet entertained and read body language to respect boundaries! I have also volunteered at Jax humane society. My schedule is pretty flexible. I work from home so it’s not much of a hassle for me to make time for your fur baby! I have a long side walk to take long walks. I have a nice sided yard so they can run around and play. There will be other dogs around the area when we go on walks so they will have some type of interaction.

About: I have been around dogs almost all of my life. I had a chihuahua mix growing up. I also know the basics of senior care, since I had to go through that with my dog. I like working with smaller dogs. Taking them on walks and giving them all my attention to play. My schedule is all over the place as a nursing student who works and I own my own small business. But mostly my weekdays are free at some point in the day. While my weekends are more busy. Dogs are so great to walk, play with, watch, and give all of your attention to. I would care for dogs in a clients home by making sure the dog has the appropriate water and food. And is getting any medication or care if they are a senior dog. As well as taking walks and play time.

About: I love dogs and cats and any animals! I’m the one at a party who sneaks off to play with the pets rather than make small talk. I have had animals my whole adult life and I frequently watch friends & family’s animals for them. I am very patient and can also play and entertain any age animal. I recently watched my parents dogs for 2 months while they went on a trip to Australia. I’m good at getting animals to take medicine and am not phased taking care of messes or getting a shy animal to feel safe. I genuinely love spending time with pets. I will treat them like my own and make sure to give consistency with food and training so you can work or travel and be assured your family is cared for :) I have a very flexible schedule. I work as a substitute teacher and would have early days to get back to take care of the animals. I also work on concerts and doing arts workshops and have plenty of days when I’m home during the day and can spend more time with the animals before working at night I don’t have a yard, but I have a large condo and a nice neighborhood to walk through. I make up for the lack of yard by taking them to park, walking trails near my house, etc. if I’m at your house, I’ll make sure they have access to their toys, plenty of interaction, walks, time around someone, and whatever else you would like.
