About: I’ve had pets all my life. From guinea pigs to chihuahuas to pitties. I’ve yet to meet an animal I didn’t like and I don’t plan to ever. I spend time volunteering at the local Humane Society to learn how to better care for animals like yours. I’m a full time student looking to make most of my income here on Rover. I also spend a few hours a week at the Humane Society. I've had animals as long as I've been self-aware. My family dogs include a senior chihuahua and a 7 year old pittie. At home, my family includes two kitties, Moomin (5) and Toro (1), who are both from the Jacksonville Humane Society! They are my pride and joy and I consider them my sons. I work well with all pets. Doesn’t matter if they’re skittish or energetic. Please do not hesitate to let me know the specifics of your pet’s care needs. It is my duty to cater to their personality! Additionally, I will be sure to send lots of pictures to update you while you’re away.

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Deborah! My husband and I have a Scottish terrier puppy. I had to travel for work one week and my husband works long hours at the hospital, so we hired Deborah to walk our puppy during the day. I was nervous because he is still young and this was is first experience with a walker. Deborah was so caring and patient with him! She followed all our instructions, came exactly when scheduled, and throughly documented each visit. It really put my mind at ease when I could see her visit reports and pictures while I was traveling. We will not hesitate to hire her again!”

About: Ever since I was little, I have a huge heart for dogs. It wasn’t until I was 10 that I finally had a family dog, and from then on dogs have always been a part of my life. I’ve done personal dog-sitting on and off for a few years for some friends and family and I’ve always really enjoyed it. I did Rover a few years ago and loved it, but life got a bit crazy so I had to pause it. I was still able to consistently dogsit for some repeat customers these last few years, and now my wife Linsey joins me in that! Your dog can expect walks at the park or in our neighborhood and for my home to be their home. If your dog likes play dates, my Rover friends would certainly be about it! My normal job is pretty flexible on where I can work, so if your dog needs extra attention, working from home is totally doable. Between me and Linsey, at least one of us is always home. I’ve done Rover on and off for the last 8 years, and have really enjoyed it! My job is super flexible, with set hours only 2 nights a week and once during the day. I’m mostly working from home or at coffee shops, so it’s super easy to stay home with a dog. Between me and my wife, someone can pretty much always be with your pet. Our home is your dog’s home. If they want to go on the couch or follow us around, by all mean. If they like their space, I’ll give them space. Many dogs have taken a snooze on our couch, legs in the air.

About: My siblings would ask me to babysit their dogs while they were away, and I always made it a point to leave their homes as I found it. I’ve worked in childcare and taught karate for three years now (not saying is the same thing) so your pet will be receiving the attention and play they need. Karate lessons too if they’d like🙌! I work part time at a martial arts school. Tuesday and Thursday nights I am working for certain. Throughout the day I’m available to walk/babysit/etc. I have work on my laptop so I can take whatever I need to a home and house sit at the same time. I always want to keep an eye on them, making frequent checks to see how they’re doing. I’d like to be informed of any quirks or habits I should be aware of so the pet is comfortable and receives the best care possible. If they want to play, I’m so ready to play!

About: The best part of using Rover for me was the fun pictures of my pup playing I would get from the sitters. So as a sitter, I absolutely love providing you with the best action shots I can get of your little fur baby having a great time while you do the same!! I can send them home with a fresh wash and brush for $40! I have a flexible schedule. I live in an apartment but my complex has a large and small dog park right in front of it. Plenty of play time. Only keep 1-2 pups at a time. Small dogs ONLY (20 pounds and below) Dogs get lots of attention and petting and snuggles around here and I love taking pictures so you’ll get lots of those as well.

About: I have dog-sat for pets of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments for about 10 years now. I have walked, house-sat, or boarded pets for many friends and families, and I have loved caring for these sweet furry friends! I also volunteer at the Jacksonville Humane Society with their "dog's day out" program and walk dogs through that! I have experience with medically complex animals through fostering, and I am also comfortable with administering medications when needed. I myself am a dog-mom to a 3-year-old bichon-poodle mix, so I understand how important it is to make sure your pets are in good hands! I understand that all pets are different, and I am happy to do whatever is needed to fit you and your pet's needs. I am a college student, and my class schedule leaves plenty of time to play with your sweet puppies! I am available mornings and evenings most days, and all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! I can do overnight care and I can work with your schedule :) At each home I set for, I make sure that everything that you need for your pet is met and exceeded! The safety of your pet and home will be my top priority. I can take your pup on long or short walks or runs depending on energy level. It is important to me that you have peace of mind when you are not at home, so I am happy to send updates and photos!

About: I have six months of professional dog walking experience in New York, where I received in-person training on safely walking and caring for dogs. I have also walked and cared for dogs belonging to friends and family. I will treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m dependable, attentive, and happy to follow any instructions you provide so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I have a flexible schedule and availability throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening walks and drop-in visits, as well as recurring bookings. Your pet’s safety is always my priority. During walks, I stay aware of our surroundings and use secure leash handling. I will follow your instructions closely and communicate with you about how your pet is doing. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I will take the time to help them feel comfortable with me.

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, from playful puppies to senior dogs. I currently have a 2 year old cockapoo and a 1 year old cavalier king charles spaniel fully trained and full of love. Working from home allows me to naturally build pet care into my daily routine, giving dogs consistent attention, structure, and companionship throughout the day. With two dogs of my own, I’m already on a steady schedule of morning and evening walks, regular feeding times, and plenty of play time in between. Due to me being home primarily, I can provide frequent potty breaks, supervision, and quick responses to any needs, which helps dogs feel comfortable and secure. About: Caring for animals has been a part of my life since I was a kiddo. This is a new venture for me with Rover specifically, but I’m excited to get started. My goal is to be sure your pup(s) feel happy and at ease, comfortable, protected, spoiled, fun and playful, having a day that mirrors the day as if they were with you. It’s important for them to be excited to see you as if nothing was different for them. I have extensive experience with all ages, sizes and breeds of dogs, as well as other animals. I’m able to give medications, work with special needs, basic training, seniors and babies, I will be present and attentive to their needs, following your guidelines. I’m excited about this new adventure and appreciate the opportunity. My availability is wide open and I’m looking to establish a continuous opportunity for folks and their pets. I’m available for daily/weekly sitting, drop-in’s, walking, and extended or scheduled times. It’s important to me for your fur baby to feel comfortable with me, trusting and at ease. I will always follow your guidelines, suggestions and instructions with handling, walking, playing, crating, treats, food, medications, whatever is needed and expected. About: I am a compassionate individual who loves dogs with all my heart! My experience with dogs includes volunteering at the Jacksonville Humane Society, doing pet care through a service called 9-5 pets, and owning a dog since I was 6 years old up until I was 20 years old. I look forward to meeting your furry friends! I have afternoons and evenings free. Walking dogs is a great form of exercise and when I owned my dog walking him was always the best part of my day. I care for pets by making sure they are comfortable with me, by bending down and letting them sniff my hand. Then I will spend quality time with them by feeding them, walking them, petting them, or playing with toys.
