About: I’ve had pets all my life. From guinea pigs to chihuahuas to pitties. I’ve yet to meet an animal I didn’t like and I don’t plan to ever. I spend time volunteering at the local Humane Society to learn how to better care for animals like yours. I’m a full time student looking to make most of my income here on Rover. I also spend a few hours a week at the Humane Society. I've had animals as long as I've been self-aware. My family dogs include a senior chihuahua and a 7 year old pittie. At home, my family includes two kitties, Moomin (5) and Toro (1), who are both from the Jacksonville Humane Society! They are my pride and joy and I consider them my sons. I work well with all pets. Doesn’t matter if they’re skittish or energetic. Please do not hesitate to let me know the specifics of your pet’s care needs. It is my duty to cater to their personality! Additionally, I will be sure to send lots of pictures to update you while you’re away.

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Deborah! My husband and I have a Scottish terrier puppy. I had to travel for work one week and my husband works long hours at the hospital, so we hired Deborah to walk our puppy during the day. I was nervous because he is still young and this was is first experience with a walker. Deborah was so caring and patient with him! She followed all our instructions, came exactly when scheduled, and throughly documented each visit. About: I’ve cared for a few different types of animals, including cats (especially elderly), small dogs, hamsters, bunnies and reptiles. I’m very comfortable with taking care of these types of animals! I am currently a full time student with internship, and I have a part time job where I work morning and evenings. I’m available more towards midday and early evenings (12pm-5pm) I started pet sitting because I love taking care of pets! I will care for pets however the client prefers their pet to be cared for. Every pet is different and has different needs, I will do my best to make sure they are as comfortable and safe as possible.

About: I am a responsible individual who has taken care of animals from different types of dogs, cats, goats, hamsters, etc. I am 26 years old and when I was receiving my bachelor's degree in Health Science , I would go to the humane society in my free time to foster the dogs or kittens from there. This would be a great bonding for the both of us and I had gained knowledge from the variety of breeds I've watched over the years. For a few examples, I have watched golden doodles, border collies, lab, golden retrievers, domestic shorthairs, pit bulls, German shepherds, etc. One summer for a few months I routinely took care of a blind and deaf cat and the other cat that was there. I accommodated to the special requirements of this specific cat to ensure she knew where her food/ water bowl was as well as her litter box. In the area where I had lived for a while, I was fostering an Australian shepherd who was older age and had bowel issues. They had given me the medication to take care of him and I felt comfortable and responsible enough to do so. During my week, I have structured hours for my job currently that allow flexibility for availability to watch your loving furballs! I am available for every evening and weekends I am available at any time. I stay active so I would be able to make sure your pet gets a healthy amount of exercise. As well having a routine structure for myself already allows the discipline and knowing that your pets would be fed on time. I am in a safe neighborhood, I live at a duplex that has a fenced-in decent-sized backyard. This allows easy access to their bathroom breaks and playtime with them. The neighborhood stays at a quiet volume and has areas to go on safe walks with the pets. I will ensure to keep to the schedule of their typical day-to-day routine so they feel as comfortable as possible and can still have some fun! I am responsive and will always have my phone or apple watch on me to receive text/calls asap.

About: Caring for animals has been a part of my life since I was a kiddo. This is a new venture for me with Rover specifically, but I’m excited to get started. My goal is to be sure your pup(s) feel happy and at ease, comfortable, protected, spoiled, fun and playful, having a day that mirrors the day as if they were with you. It’s important for them to be excited to see you as if nothing was different for them. I have extensive experience with all ages, sizes and breeds of dogs, as well as other animals. I’m able to give medications, work with special needs, basic training, seniors and babies, I will be present and attentive to their needs, following your guidelines. I’m excited about this new adventure and appreciate the opportunity. My availability is wide open and I’m looking to establish a continuous opportunity for folks and their pets. I’m available for daily/weekly sitting, drop-in’s, walking, and extended or scheduled times. It’s important to me for your fur baby to feel comfortable with me, trusting and at ease.
