“Aaliyah was wonderful and communicative throughout. Evie loved her and was a much happier dog when I came home from work. My cat loved her too. Going to be having Aaliyah over much more often to help with the pooch.”

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Deborah! My husband and I have a Scottish terrier puppy. I had to travel for work one week and my husband works long hours at the hospital, so we hired Deborah to walk our puppy during the day. I was nervous because he is still young and this was is first experience with a walker. Deborah was so caring and patient with him! She followed all our instructions, came exactly when scheduled, and throughly documented each visit. It really put my mind at ease when I could see her visit reports and pictures while I was traveling. We will not hesitate to hire her again!”

“Kristin was so wonderful to work with! I’ve never used rover for walks before and was so happy with the experience with Kristin, and know our dog was happy to get out and about every morning with her. She was so timely and our dog definitely loved her. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve had pets all my life. From guinea pigs to chihuahuas to pitties. I’ve yet to meet an animal I didn’t like and I don’t plan to ever. I spend time volunteering at the local Humane Society to learn how to better care for animals like yours. I’m a full time student looking to make most of my income here on Rover. I also spend a few hours a week at the Humane Society. I've had animals as long as I've been self-aware. My family dogs include a senior chihuahua and a 7 year old pittie. At home, my family includes two kitties, Moomin (5) and Toro (1), who are both from the Jacksonville Humane Society! They are my pride and joy and I consider them my sons. I work well with all pets. Doesn’t matter if they’re skittish or energetic. Please do not hesitate to let me know the specifics of your pet’s care needs. It is my duty to cater to their personality! Additionally, I will be sure to send lots of pictures to update you while you’re away.

“Wendy is my dogs fave!! He enjoys their time together! Wendy’s time and attn has been such a help since I work long hours at times! She is very reliable and always gives a great recap of their walks! Thank you Wendy!”

“Maria is great! My dog loves her, she is always happy to see her for her walks. Maria refills my dogs water and is prompt with her walks. You will be very happy with Maria!”

“James is awesome. He did a meet and greet with both of my dogs prior to the walk and was understanding when I was late due to traffic. He has a calm demeanor and understands the importance of giving an anxious dog their space. My dogs did great on a walk with him, and he made sure that they were safe. My anxious dog actually approached and sniffed him after the walk, and even took some treats from him which is a big deal for her. I highly recommend James to anyone!”

“Laura is very helpful, dependable and thoughtful. Laura has been helping me out while I have been stuck traveling from flight delays....with a couple of extra visits for my pup. I cannot be more grateful to Laura for her extra help at the last minute.”

“Katherine was great with our boys! She is very quick to reply to messages and sends updates after all the walks. Very friendly. We are so grateful to have found her.”

About: Hi, I’m Grace — a pet care professional who works at a dog facility, with hands-on experience in grooming, boarding, kenneling, and daycare. Rover is something I do on the side, because honestly, one job’s worth of animals just isn’t enough for me. Senior dogs and anxious pets hold a special place in my heart. I’ve cared for animals with complex daily routines, multiple medications, scheduled feedings, and extra TLC, and I treat every one like they’re my own. Finding someone your babies can truly relax with matters, and that’s something I take to heart with every visit. As a cat mom myself, patience and attentiveness just come naturally to me. I’d love to meet your fur baby and learn what makes them feel at home — don’t hesitate to reach out! I currently work part time at a pet care facility, and my schedule is flexible! I’m available for overnight or drop in visits- whichever works best for your pets! I care for each and every pet as if they were my own babies! Being away from your pet is hard for you and them, so I do my very best to keep you up to date and make sure they’re happy and healthy while you’re gone :)

About: I grew up surrounded by animals on my Granny’s farm, so caring for pets has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. In my own home, we had three dogs and four cats, and animals were never just pets, they were family. My mom was a veterinary technician for 15 years, and she regularly brought home injured or recovering animals that needed rehabilitation. Through that experience, I learned how to safely handle pets in all kinds of situations and environments. She passed down extensive hands-on knowledge to me, including how to recognize warning signs, respond calmly in emergencies, and administer medications. I’ve even assisted with IV fluids for a dog when needed. Because of this background, I’m comfortable caring for pets who may need extra patience, medical attention, or routine based care. I bring more experience than the average sitter and take your pet’s safety, comfort, and while still giving them plenty of love, attention, and reassurance I have an open and flexible schedule, so I’m able to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency throughout the day. I’m available for early mornings, mid-day visits, evenings, and weekends. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay in the environment where they feel safest and most comfortable. I follow your pet’s established routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special care instructions. I’m attentive to behavior changes, health needs, and comfort levels, especially for pets who may be anxious, senior, or require medical care. I keep the home clean and secure, ensure doors and gates are properly locked, and respect household rules at all times. I prioritize communication and send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is well cared for while you’re away
About: When it comes to dogs, I’ve done it all! I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, high-energy pups, couch potatoes, and dogs who need a little extra love and support. No matter their age, size, or personality, I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up in a family of dog lovers, I learned how to care for, train, play with, and understand dogs from an early age. As I got older, I became the go-to dog sitter for friends and family. Before long, coworkers began trusting me with their pets too, thanks to my experience and genuine love for animals. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away I work remote and can be very flexible not only with the time you need me but with the location. I’m available 7 days a week. I have a fenced yard and 1 senior dog named Junior. Junior has been around a plethora of other dogs in his 15 years and is very friendly. Don’t his age discourage you, he still loves to run around and play. I can easy crate your dog if needed. I have a fenced yard and 1 senior dog named Junior. Kimberly is great with my animals! She follows all care instructions. She is very responsive. She has sat for me when I needed a last minute care for my dog. My normally very shy cat likes her. She normally runs and hides whenever anybody comes in. Not with Kimberly. I highly recommend her! I would gladly use her again!

Benjamin was very friendly and great with our dog. He had excellent communication which was very reassuring. My dog Maki took a huge liking to him. Benjamin seemed like a big dog lover; he’s good at directing him with commands and treats. He also was very good at understanding my dogs body language and took extra steps to make sure we were all comfortable before their first walk.

Malinda is very reliable and neighbors have told me how good she is on the walks. My puppy doesn't show signs that she felt neglected since Malinda actually spends time with her. In the morning when I go to work Mindy doesn't fight going in her crate cause she knows Malinda was coming. So I know that Mindy appreciates the time with Malinda.
