About: Meet Sarah — A Lifelong Animal Lover You Can Trust Animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. From dogs and cats to rabbits and even flying squirrels, I’ve had the joy of caring for all kinds of creatures — and that deep love for animals is exactly what I bring to every sitting experience. At home, I share my days with three beloved pets of my own: Molly, my sweet 14-year-old chocolate lab; Tom, my spirited 11-year-old Catahoula leopard lab mix; and Harley, my 3-year-old cat. Living with senior dogs has given me firsthand experience with the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentle care that older pets need — and I genuinely cherish that slower, more intentional bond. I’ve been providing in-home pet sitting for many years, stepping into people’s homes and making sure their furry family members feel safe, loved, and right at home — because they are at home. I adapt completely to each pet’s personality and routine, whether they need quiet companionship, active playtime, or simply a calm and reassuring presence. I’m comfortable administering medications and have experience caring for pets with special needs. Overnight stays are no problem — I know how much it means to have someone truly dedicated watching over your pet through the night. When you leave your dog or cat in my care, you’re leaving them with someone who sees pets as family. I can’t wait to meet yours. 🐾 During the school year, I teach culinary arts at the high school level and coach volleyball in the fall and lacrosse in the spring — so my schedule is full and purposeful. But my love for animals doesn’t take a season off. Weekends, afternoons, and evenings are when I’m most available, and summers and holiday breaks are when I’m all in. Those stretches are my busiest and most dedicated pet care seasons, and I genuinely look forward to them. When I’m with your pet, I’m not squeezing it in — I’m fully present and happy to be there. When I step into your home, my goal is simple: your pet shouldn’t feel like anything has changed. I follow your routines, respect your rules, and bring the same warmth and attentiveness I give my own animals. Whether that means quiet companionship on the couch, a walk around the neighborhood, or simply making sure a nervous cat knows they’re safe — I meet each pet where they are. Your home stays tidy, your pet stays comfortable, and you get updates so you can actually relax while you’re away.

About: Growing up, I cared for two wonderful dogs who taught me responsibility, patience, and companionship every day. One was a playful miniature poodle, and the other was a loyal cocker spaniel, each with their own unique personality and energy. Spending time feeding, walking, grooming, and playing with them helped me develop a deep appreciation for the joy dogs bring into a home. Today, I own a golden doodle that continues to strengthen my love for working with and caring for dogs. I’m currently working part-time, so there is flexibility throughout the week to care for your pup! I am also available on weekend days. I have a fully fenced in yard at home and have had crate trained dogs. I ensure that there is time to explore the outdoors!

About: I am a high school teacher looking for work with animals! I have 2 dogs currently that love other dogs. I am active and love to take long walks and trips to the park with my own dogs. I am also very good with dogs with special needs - my chocolate lab currently takes 2 medications orally twice daily and an injection shot twice daily. Hoping to help out anyone who is in need of dog care. Being a teacher, I am very flexible with hours. I live on the southside of Jacksonville near Memorial Hospital so I am convenient to many places in town and I am willing to travel to areas just outside of Jacksonville as well. About: My husband Melvyn and I love dogs and were dog owners for many years. We provide lots of love, walks and playtime. Currently, we do not have our own dog, but promise to make your pet feel like he's part of the family. We have an empty nest, so there are no children in the house. I work full-time, but my husband is home during the day. We doggie sit for family members whenever we can. I prefer to do a meet and greet so your dog will feel at home when he/she is dropped off to us. This also provides the opportunity for owners to discuss the dog's preferences. We will provide daily pictures as well. Please be sure to bring along your dog's favority toy and food. I am a virtual teacher and work from home. My husband is retired. This provides us the opportunity to be with our furry friends all day! I have a fenced in yard. I love taking long walks, too. We keep plenty of toys for our own pets as well as our furry guests.
