About: I’ve been a dog lover all my life and until recently been an owner of a small dog for 16 + years but unfortunately have lost him about a year ago to old age. Now I have retired and looking for something to do with my spare time. If you are looking for someone to take care of your small pet in a safe , cosy environment. You are at the right place. About: I owned a huge Malamute/Lab rescue who ended up rescuing me. I miss being around animals. I will take my time in walking and spending time with your furry family member. I just moved here from Brooklyn NY. I walked miles upon miles in the snow and rain with my Dog. I enjoy being outdoors. I have been a dental Assistant for the past 30 years, I’m more than capable in keeping calm in a tense situation. Our Dental practice was pet friendly. I was the person in charge of handling all of the pets. I had a Great Dane panic at the sound of the drill, I soothed him throughout the appointment. I’m also a trained Dog Walker. About: When you board with us, your pet gets more than a place to stay, your pet gets a family to be a part of. We are a family of 6 humans, 1 dog, and 5 chickens and 2 ducks. Your pet will have plenty of playmates! I am a single mother who works from home. I drop off and pick up my kids from school, and run the occasional errand, but usually I am home. I enjoy an evening walk with my chocolate lab and would love your pet to join us. I have a fully fenced, large backyard. I also have two extra crates if your dog is crate-trained and feels more comfortable sleeping in a crate. Pets being on furniture is discouraged, but rarely enforced. About: Ever since I was little, I have a huge heart for dogs. It wasn’t until I was 10 that I finally had a family dog, and from then on dogs have always been a part of my life. I’ve done personal dog-sitting on and off for a few years for some friends and family and I’ve always really enjoyed it. I did Rover a few years ago and loved it, but life got a bit crazy so I had to pause it. I was still able to consistently dogsit for some repeat customers these last few years, and now my wife Linsey joins me in that! Your dog can expect walks at the park or in our neighborhood and for my home to be their home. If your dog likes play dates, my Rover friends would certainly be about it! My normal job is pretty flexible on where I can work, so if your dog needs extra attention, working from home is totally doable. Between me and Linsey, at least one of us is always home. I’ve done Rover on and off for the last 8 years, and have really enjoyed it! My job is super flexible, with set hours only 2 nights a week and once during the day. I’m mostly working from home or at coffee shops, so it’s super easy to stay home with a dog. Between me and my wife, someone can pretty much always be with your pet. Our home is your dog’s home. If they want to go on the couch or follow us around, by all mean. If they like their space, I’ll give them space. Many dogs have taken a snooze on our couch, legs in the air.

“When you find sitters that are "above and beyond ordinary", its difficult to sum things up in a few words. Delaney and her fiancee was absolutely superb. For this to be our first encounter, I felt a sense of peace with caring for my 4-legged baby, Tim. They were inviting and very accommodating. Im glad to know that Tim has adopted Rover parents in 2 cities, Orlando (Caylie and Jacob) and now in Jacksonville with an added bonus sister, Ivy. As a protective dog mum, I would highly recommend Delaney. Just remember that Tim gets first dibs (LoL).”

“From the moment I met Kelly, I knew she was the perfect person to care for my furbaby Murdock. He is very shy and doesn't like to meet new people. Kelly set up a meet and greet proud to Murdock's stay. She was so kind and I could tell she really loves dogs. She has a very gently manner about her and speaks in a very soothing tone to the pets. She gave updates, and sent photos of him looking like he felt safe and happy. He eventually started going to her when called and enjoyed all the loving attention she gave him. Murdock even felt comfortable enough with Jim, her spouse, to take walks with him, something he had never allowed in the past, as he seemed more fearful of men than anything. When I picked him up, I could tell that it was a wonderful experience for. Murdock, and I know it has helped him to not be afraid with strangers. I recommend Kelly and Jim with the highest regard and will always reserve boarding time for Murdock with them as needed. So happy I found them! And .Murdock is too!”
