About: I owned a huge Malamute/Lab rescue who ended up rescuing me. I miss being around animals. I will take my time in walking and spending time with your furry family member. I just moved here from Brooklyn NY. I walked miles upon miles in the snow and rain with my Dog. I enjoy being outdoors. I have been a dental Assistant for the past 30 years, I’m more than capable in keeping calm in a tense situation. Our Dental practice was pet friendly. I was the person in charge of handling all of the pets. I had a Great Dane panic at the sound of the drill, I soothed him throughout the appointment. I’m also a trained Dog Walker. I volunteer at the Jacksonville Humane Society a few days a week. I’m looking forward to helping out families that need an extra hand.

About: I specialize in high energy and high anxiety dogs. I have taken care of dogs of many ages from puppies to seniors. I currently don’t have pets of my own but I grew up and have owned dogs and cats throughout my life. My work schedule is flexiable and I make my own hours. I would work with the client and see what are their needs and I would tailor my schedule based around that. I will build trust with the pet first. When I am caring for pets, I am especially aware of their individual needs, their body language and their need for physical activity. My pets can tell me through their body language when they have had a good or bad sitter experience. During the week, I work from home but I have flexibility to drop in to check on your pets. I am also able to take them on walks or run around the back yard, if that is what they need. About: I’m a pre law student in the process of applying to law school. I have watched cats and dogs for friends family since a teenager. I currently have two cute cats that were strays I saved. I do doggy days at my local shelter and volunteer as a FL guardian as litem! Love to spend time with your fur animals :) Pet care fits well into my weekly routine because I have a flexible schedule. I currently work part-time at a country club while preparing for law school, and I also volunteer as a Guardian ad Litem. Since I am not working a traditional full-time schedule, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the week to provide pets with consistent attention, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I am responsible, dependable, and able to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets in my care. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always follow the owner's specific instructions and routine. Whether I am caring for a pet in my home or a client's home, I make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, regular walks or potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and companionship. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I love spending time in my own backyard, but I also enjoy exploring new places! My pup loves adventures, so we often visit on-leash parks for walks, fresh air, and new experiences. I enjoy giving dogs opportunities to safely explore, get exercise, and enjoy the world around them while always keeping their comfort and safety a priority. Play is a constant in our household! I believe playtime is about more than just fetch. I enjoy incorporating scent games, enrichment activities, and mentally stimulating games into a dog’s routine to help keep them happy and engaged (esp. if it's extremely hot or rainy)!
