“Charlayda, or “Layda” recently took care of our 4 dogs—2 11-mo olds, who sleep in the garage, are trained to bathroom on puppy pads, and a 4 and 5 year old who are totally family members who sleep on beds, love the outdoors, and live to please people! We went away for a military graduation for 6 days, and were nervous to use a “service” but our friend could not stay here, so we took a leap of faith with Rover and Charlayda. When she came for a Meet and Greet 4 days before we were leaving, we immediately could tell we were with a lover of dogs, someone knowledable who all 4 dogs quickly “took to.” All of our fears about leaving went away as she asked questions and took the time to get to know specifics about all 4. While away, we received photos, videos, and texts as requested. When we returned home, all the dogs were calm, happy, sat for treats better than before!, and we could just tell that Layda had earned an A++++ in every way. We never thought we could leave all of them. We were proved wrong!! She’s superb. We’re now thinking about a weekend away, something we considered impossible before!! We’re so grateful!!”

About: I have experience with many different types of pets like dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, bunnies, pigs & ferrets (just to name a few). I’ve had dogs my entire life and have two years of professional experience working in a dog daycare creating an understanding of dog behaviors. I strive to make every experience as comfortable and enjoyable for your fur babies! I have met so many dogs with different temperaments and needs to create a positive experience while in my care. I volunteer with the local shelter and take out foster dogs all the time and I love advocating for them too! I am so passionate about animal welfare and ensuring pet parents have someone they can trust to take care of their precious babies. I am currently a full time college student with full weekend availability but Monday-Thursday I am usually out of the house during the day 7-4:30 while Fridays I have a half day of classes, if this something that is okay with you. About: Well experienced in dogs/cats/and some small exotic animals... ive trained my own dogs over the years basic commands, grew up on a farm with farm animals and *other exotic pets* rabbits, ginniepigs, hamsters, lizards, to name afew... mother was a dog warden(dog catcher) so that started my experience at age 6yr. With multiple breeds of dogs/cats/raccoons/skunks...lol I grew and learned over the years to train, groom, understand animal behaviors... i now also do photography for famils and animals... Im a sahm mom of 3, currently looking to increase my income with pet sitting... cause if you do what you love youll never work a day in your life... About: I have had a dog ever since I was born, from my Maltese, to my Golden doodle. I’d take them on walks, feed them, and make sure they had a good day! I do love every animal (I have 7 reptiles) but dogs have the best personalities. I even volunteer at the Jacksonville Humane society to take dogs out for a day. I’m going to school to become a vet, so I need hands on experience and watching your dog/s will help me in the future. I get to have fun by watching dogs while gaining experience. My dream! I’m going to school to become a vet and right now going for my bachelors. Most days I have classes until 2-3pm, but Fridays off. I have plenty of time up until August 17, when my classes start. At my clients home, I never take my eye of the dog. If anything were to happen I’d know right away. I care for the dog, so I’d run, play, walk the dog until the dog has enough and I can tell they are done. I’ll rest with the dog and make sure they are feed and have enough water. In the end, I’ll treat the dog like it is my own.

“I don’t even know where to start. I had to go to the hospital unexpectedly and was panicking about my cats and my apartment. Illeana responded right away and stepped in when I really needed someone. She met me at the hospital to get my keys and took such good care of my babies, sending me pictures and updates that gave me so much peace of mind. But what she did beyond that completely shocked me. I came home to a clean apartment. She took out all my trash, cleaned my kitchen, washed dishes, bought bowls for my cats, left cleaning supplies and even flowers on the counter. She showed me so much kindness during one of the hardest weeks I’ve had. I have no family or friends in this country so she’s the only one I had during that time.
