About: I have been around animals my whole life. Growing up, I used to help my grandma with her wildlife rehab center as well as caring for my own fur babies. . I also have experience working at a kennel and pet sitting in home.. I am currently working weekdays between 730 and 430. However, I am available before and after work, on weekends, all major holidays and school breaks.. (I work at a school) I am more so able to take care of your pets inside of your home. I think that might help keep your pets at ease while you're away. I am able to follow designated schedules, walk, feed, administer medications, and play with your pup... About: I’ve taken care of my lab that is no longer with me for 7 years and I frequently host my friends dogs for weeks at a time while they are deployed. I work for the U.S. Coast Guard Monday through Friday. My normal work hours are 8-2 but the hours flex daily and I usually have at least one day off through the week not including weekends. I have a fenced in backyard and I live by myself so your pet will have free reign over the property. I can also crate your dog if needed while I’m out of the house.

I spent 7 years as a veterinary technician working across small clinics, a large animal hospital, a specialty oncology and internal medicine hospital, and a mobile vet practice. I take pride in the years I spent as a vet tech and the skills I acquired. I served as a lead technician and head surgery technician, and fiercely loved and respected every patient I cared for. I'm experienced with medication administration, SQ fluids, and injections, and I bring a calm, patient approach to every pet I work with. At home, I care for my own two dogs, I also previously rescued and loved my late dog Lily and provided special care and daily dedication after she was diagnosed with Cushing's disease. I also cared for an FIV-positive cat through his own health journey over the 19 years we spent together, so I understand what it takes to nurture pets through both easy days and hard ones. The time we are given with them each day is so special and I intend to treat your pets like the angels on Earth that they are. My schedule is pretty flexible! I am available most mornings & early afternoons, evenings are limited to a few days a week. (usually unavailable during the evening on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday.) Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priority, whether I'm in your home for a drop-in visit or out on a walk. I treat every home with the same respect and care I'd want for my own, securing doors and gates, following your specific instructions for feeding, medication, or routines, and staying alert to anything that seems off with your pet's behavior or health. On walks, I keep dogs leashed and under close watch at all times, avoid unfamiliar dogs or situations that could cause stress, and pay attention to weather and pace so it stays safe and enjoyable. I am knowledgeable in dog/cat first aid and carry an emergency pet first aid kit. My background as a veterinary technician means I know what to watch for if something seems wrong, and most importantly I do not panic when faced with stressful or emergent situations. About: I have always grown up in household full of dogs and have loved every minute of it. At age 12, I started pet sitting around my neighborhood. I've watched and walked dogs for family, friends, and neighbors. I have cared for pups ranging from 4 weeks old to 15 years old therefore, I have pretty much seen it all when it comes to caring for dogs and am open to administering medication, walking pups who may be behind on their leash training, fearfully aggressive dogs, and pups who are not fully potty trained. Please reach out to me if you need any inquiry on my past experiences. I currently work your typical 9-5, but am remote on a Mondays and Fridays. I am usually flexible in the early mornings because I get up early for yoga and have spare time in between my commute to work. I'm usually even more flexible in the afternoons to give a nice, long walk. On the weekends, I have open availability. I currently live in a fenced in yard with two fur-babies. Daphne, is just under a year old and is a total wild child, but our baby! Cleatus, our five year old hound dog, is a self diagnosed "mama's boy", who has a deep rooted passion for carrying his stuffed animals around in his mouth. I plan my schedule around the dogs I’m caring for to ensure they receive consistent attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. Walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins are spaced intentionally so dogs never feel rushed or overlooked. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or overnight care, I make sure each dog’s routine stays as close to their normal schedule as possible. I provide pet sitting exclusively in the client’s home, allowing dogs to stay in the environment they’re most comfortable in while maintaining their normal routine. Since I’m not taking pets into my own home, all care is focused on giving your dog individualized, one-on-one attention in a familiar setting. I follow your dog’s established schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, and I’m happy to accommodate any specific instructions or preferences. About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I look forward to creating a consistent client base of wonderful dog families that may be overlooked or unable to be cared for by the standard walker. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. Above all your dogs happiness and health is the most important. I will not use shock collars or prong collars for walking. For safety reasons I will not use retractable leashes either. I have plenty of spare harnesses and leashes for walking if needed. I also believe creating a bond of trust and leadership with your dogs is important. I ensure your pet doesn’t get overheated and takes breaks as needed. Weather is funny in Florida and I will make sure you pet can walk, potty and play safely.
