About: I was raised with dogs, cats and birds. I’ve taken care of friend’s pets since I was 15 years old. Feed, walk, bathe, play and give affection are my assignments. I don’t currently have a pet of my own, but I spend a lot of time with my best friend’s dog and help out whenever I can. I’ve learned how much attention and consistency pets need, from feeding, walking, and playtime to just being present with them. I really enjoy being around animals and always treat them with care and respect. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or someone else’s, I always focus on creating a safe and calm environment. I pay close attention to the pet’s routine, diet, and habits to keep things as familiar as possible. I make sure the space is pet-proofed no small objects or open doors and that they’re never left unattended in unsafe situations. I also respect the client’s home, following any instructions they provide and keeping everything clean and secure. My goal is always to make the pet feel loved, safe, and cared for.

About: I’ve worked in the animal care field for over 16 years including veterinary hospitals, animal rescue, fostering (from chihuahuas to pit bulls), wildlife rehab, spay/neuter clinics, etc. I’m a certified positive dog trainer through Victoria Stilwell Academy, and am always pursuing educational opportunities with animals. I recently went back to school to finish my vet school prerequisites, and submitted my application in September! I have experience taking care of animals with a variety of special medical and behavioral needs. My own pack includes Bruce (senior poodle mix), Judith (2 y/o pit bull), and Hershel (Maine coon mix) - all are rescues! I was born and raised in the South Bay. In addition to animals, my interests include music, The Walking Dead, and Disneyland, and I’ve been vegan since 2010. 🥕 I am currently taking college classes and pet sitting/dog walking daily. I will have more openings in my schedule over winter break to help with your holiday needs. I’ve provided pet sitting services in clients’ homes for over 13 years. Safety of your pets and property is my top priority, and I will keep you in the loop with regular updates.

“Tina was wonderfully kind and patient with my pup Toshi this week. She has a very good reputation among my peers, and I felt comfortable with Toshi in her expert care. I was treated to detailed attention to Toshi and to her environment during walks with notes and support. Thank you so much Tina! Looking forward to future visits!”

About: With 15 years of experience as a dog enthusiast, I’ve enjoyed walking and caring for dogs of all breeds and personalities. This hobby has given me the skills to ensure every walk is safe, fun, and suited to each dog’s needs. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. Most days I will be available anytime from 6am-7pm for a walk or a drop in visit. I do not like to take walks after dark. Please let me know your preferred time and I can see how to work it into my schedule. I am a very active person and love to walk and care for dogs in my free time. I also have a dog of my own. I know the importance of a good walk or play time for your dog for stimulation and exercise.

“Maria is the best! My pups LOVE LOVE LOVE her and look forward to their almost daily walks now. So happy we found Maria, she's a true Godsend!!!”

“Amazing!! So so sweet, took care of Luna like she was her own. Trust completely to take care of my girl. Always kept me in the loop if anything happened and sent pictures and videos. 100% recommend :)”

About: I’ve had pets all my life to include hamsters, turtles, ducks, birds, dogs and cats. I would hate to leave my dogs alone for extended periods of time so if I can help you, it would be my pleasure. I love caring for them and can even administer medication if needed. I am a Veteran and caring after animals is therapeutic for me and only enhances my quality of life. I am flexible and open most days. I don’t mind late drops ins for those graveyard workers. I try to reserve Sunday and Monday’s for personal matters but willing to help on a case by case. I currently have a 75 lb Blue Nose Pit Mix Roomate who has more beds than I do. He gets his treats several times a day and home cooked meals mixed into kibble. He is current with veterinary needs and gets his walks and play time daily.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had 3 dogs and a cat of my own, and I know how deeply we can love our pets — they are truly family. For over 6 years, I volunteered at animal shelters in Ukraine, helping care for abandoned dogs and cats. When the war started, I worked even harder — finding homes for animals, supporting adoptions, and doing it all from the heart, without asking anything in return. I treat every animal like my own — with patience, love, and respect. Whether it's a playful puppy or a senior dog who needs extra care, I’m here to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. I truly enjoy spending time with animals — walking, playing, feeding, or just keeping them company. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily make time for your pet’s needs, whether it’s a regular walk or daily check-in. Caring for animals brings me joy, and I treat it as a meaningful responsibility, not just a job. I always prioritize the pet’s comfort, safety, and routine. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully — feeding schedules, favorite toys, walking routes, and any special needs. I try to keep the environment as calm and familiar as possible. If I care for pets in my own home, I make sure they have a clean, cozy space, plenty of attention, and a stress-free atmosphere. I treat every pet like family — with love, patience, and respect.

“Arash is wonderful! He treats our pups with kindness and patience, and respects the rules we have for them. They love their walks and time together!”

About: Hi! My name is Helen, and I recently moved from France to beautiful Long Beach. I've been passionate about dogs my whole life, I've had several of my own, and I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for my friends and family. Ask anyone who knows me: dogs and I just click! I’m currently not working, which means I have lots of availability and flexibility, especially on weekdays from 8 AM to 7 PM. Need a last-minute walk or a schedule change? I’ve got you covered. I live in a dog-friendly community in Downtown Long Beach, with everything your pup could dream of: 🐶 A quiet, private dog park right inside the building 🌳 Several nearby parks and outdoor spaces 🧼 An on-site dog grooming station 🦴 Treats always on hand 🏖️ And the beach is just a few minutes’ walk away! Whether your dog loves calm strolls, playful outings, or just needs some TLC while you're away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. Feel free to reach out, I’d love to meet you and your pup!

About: I've been a cat owner for 10 years and a dog owner for 7, but an animal lover all of my life. I am always more than happy to help pet sit for my friends and family. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, and providing lots of playtime, affection, and companionship. I understand that every pet has their own unique needs and communication style, and I’m committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment where they feel comfortable and loved. I’m a therapist in private practice, which gives me a flexible schedule. About: All my life I have loved and cared for animals of all kinds and ages including dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, hedgehogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, fish, and even horses. I trained and fostered dogs before a brief stint abroad where I just completed my Master's degree. As much as I love walks and playtime, I am not afraid of the messy and equally important side of pet care. I have taken care of animals with special needs and medication requirements. I always maintain general pet hygiene including baths, brushing, ear and teeth cleaning, and proper tic removal. Whatever your pet may need or quirks they may have, I will be happy to make sure they are taken care of. I just moved back to CA and am working as a part-time nanny and freelance film crew which means I make my own schedule and have the flexibility to not only care for your fur family but also focus all my time and energy on them when I do so. As a house sitter, I am here to provide pet care and overall home care. Your pets will be my highest priority, of course, but I'm here to maintain your home and help provide peace of mind while you are away.
