“Dmitra is the best!!! She walks our goldendoodle Griffin twice a week and is really amazing with him! Because of our schedules I usually have to tell her only a day or two in advance which days we need her help each week and she’s always really flexible and great about it! We also have cats that like to try to sneak out of the house, and she’s great about keeping an eye on them to make sure they stay in while she takes Griffin out for his walks. So glad we found her!!!”

About: I have had a life full of experience with dogs of all ages and types. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I’m happy to accommodate special requests, whether it’s giving medication, reinforcing training, or with extra love. My experience with customer service has made me reliable, communicative, and attentive to both your pets and you. Your fur babies will be in good hands with me :) I am a college student with lots of free time throughout the weekdays with spaced out classes and empty afternoons, my weekdays and weekends are both very flexible. I understand that each pet is unique and deserves personalized care. I can adapt to your pet’s routine and preferences. Upon request I can give regular updates, including photos, to keep you connected in your pet’s activities. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind are my top priorities!

“Therese was prompt and took some really cute pictures. She was not fazed by our slightly reactive German Shepherd. Will definitely be scheduling with her again.”

“Working with Jordan was great and highly recommend her. It was great to know my pup was in good hands and good company. I look forward to working with her in the future!”

“Ann has been walking Hank for the past month. She has been so dependable and conscientious. Hank is sweet but he can be obstinate about walking. Ann has gone above and beyond to work with him and help him trust her. Hank loves her!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. My first dog on my own as an adult is currently a senior. He is a very sweet and gentle dog who loves to play with new friends. I have about 10 years of experience, dog sitting friends and family members' dogs. I am comfortable working with food aggressive dogs, highly anxious dogs, and everyone in between. I am experience with administering medications, working with puppies and supporting senior dogs. I have a great track record with leash training, potty training and winning over anxious dogs. I use positive reinforcement (single ingredient dried pumpkin treats) to keep your pups attention and gain their trust. I am happy to do a meet and greet beforehand in order to gain your trust too :) I look forward to working with you! I currently work part-time, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I am available for walks after 2:00 p.m. on those days and all day Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available Monday through Friday for pet sitting, but will be out of the house for the hours of 8-1 MWF. My partner works from home, so if your dog need 24/7 care we can arrange that. As I mentioned in my bio, my main training mechanism is positive reinforcement. I do not believe in punishing dogs. In my experience it does not work and does not feel good! That being said, I am happy to work with you and come up with a plan together.

“David took awesome care of Zeppole on short notice. He left fun greeting videos and photos and gave her a ton of love and attention during a long work day away. He was super flexible, a wonderful communicator and clearly really loves and cares about pups!”

“Tony was wonderful with Piper. She takes some time to warm up but he was patient with her. Tony is a natural dog whisperer and was able to go on a great walk with her. Looking forward to working with Tony in the future!”

“Joe is the best dog walker I’ve hired. He’s incredible with my reactive rescue dog, he’s reliable, punctual and trustworthy - and a genuinely nice guy! I highly recommend him and I’m grateful I found him.”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals — starting with playful puppies and large-breed dogs. As a lifelong pet owner myself, I understand the deep bond between pets and their families. I've raised both big and small dogs and supported friends, neighbors, and clients by providing loving, reliable care for their animals when they couldn’t be there. I’m also comfortable and experienced around children and elderly individuals, which allows me to provide a calm, respectful, and compassionate presence in any home. My goal is to make sure both you and your pets feel at ease, knowing they're in capable and caring hands. I’m available to care for your pets during regular workday hours, with occasional evening and weekend availability as well. Whether you need a midday check-in, a weekday companion, or occasional support outside the 9–5, I’m here to help keep your pets happy and comfortable while you're away. I understand how important your pet’s safety is, especially when someone else is entering your home. That’s why I take extra care during every visit — making sure doors and gates are securely closed, checking surroundings before entering or exiting, and always keeping your pet's safety and comfort as my top priority. I know how stressful it can be to trust someone with your space and your pet, and I treat both with the respect, attention, and care they deserve.

About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home dog lover with experience caring for senior pups and rescues. I lovingly cared for my senior dog through his golden years and recently adopted a sweet 1.5-year-old rescue from Kentucky. I understand the patience and attention dogs need to feel safe and loved—whether it is slow, sniffer walks or long jaunts to get out some energy! I currently work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for drop-ins or walks at almost any time, and am available before or after work on all days, including weekends. During drop-in visits, I treat your home with the same respect and care that I ask of our pet sitters. I’ll make sure your pup is happy, fed, and has fresh water, and I’ll clean up any messes or accidents. Whether it’s bringing in the mail, watering the plants, or giving your pet some extra playtime, I’m happy to help with the little things that give you peace of mind while you're away.

About: I have had both dogs and cats my entire life and even had a ferret at one point. I am a dog walker and cat and dog sitter (or cat walker if you would like!). Some of my current clients have been with me for 5 years. I also volunteer at a local shelter. I can drop in after 3 on most days since I am a student and weekends I am more flexible so I can work around your needs. I have a closed yard for my German Shepard and my cat is strictly an indoor cat. We use a mixture of dry and wet food for both animals and have frequent potty breaks for the dog.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grew up on a farm. My best fur friend, Maggie May, has been with me for 10 years. We love walks, hikes, car rides, and hanging out at home. When we’re at home, we’re also hanging out with our two black cat homies, Bellatrix and Sirius, who have been with us since 2020. I work from home 4 days per week and have a fairly flexible schedule. I go on daily walks/hikes permitting. I have no problem at all staying home and crafting while hanging out with my pets on a weekend night! I have a secure tie out in my backyard and plenty of cozy places to hang out inside. My dog, Maggie, is lackadaisical about most dogs and just wants to get a good sniff in.

About: I am an experienced petsitter who has worked in a professional, insured capacity (for Heavy Petting Petsitting) for over a decade. I also have experience working as an Adoptions Counselor at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, where I was trained in the “Fear Free”, positive reinforcement-focused method of animal training and handling. I have an extensive understanding of both canine and feline body language and behavior, and have worked with dogs and cats of all breeds and personality types! I am currently in a remote Master’s program which allows me to arrange my schedule as is convenient to my clients. I do all of my course work from home! I have a household of a dog (cattle dog mix) and two kitties who are all very animal friendly! However, if your fur baby is not a fan of other animals, I am happy to stay at your home and follow your preferences as far as house conduct goes.

“Tracie is so sweet, and our dog has loved having play dates with her. She supervises playtime in our yard, interacts with toys, and makes sure he has plenty of water. Our dog is a dream the rest of the day after Tracie helps him get out a burst of energy midday!!”

About: I have had cats and dogs and been a part of their care for my entire life. I currently have three cats of my own who I care for. One is on a special diet and has previously needed medication given via pill and syringe form, so I have experience in these areas. I have done drop in cat sitting and dog sitting for family previously. I am currently a graduate student at Chatham University. I am available every day to do drop in visits. As I am a student and my schedule can be different day to day, timing each day is best discussed case by case! I will follow directions provided by the client and be flexible to things that come up in the moment. I will always make sure the pets are in a safe location and that areas are appropriate for them to go into before allowing them to move freely (doors and gates shut and locked as needed). I will make sure that I do a final check of the home before leaving to make sure there is no risk of the pet accessing something they should not or having the ability to exit the home.

“Casey has been caring for my dogs and cats while I am away for years, and she has been exceptionally good with them. They always seem so happy when I pick them up, and I can have peace of mind that they are having fun, exercising, and being treated with respect when with Casey. I have a small dog with behavioral issues who can be difficult to find care for, and Casey meets him where he's at, respects his boundaries, and he LOVES her! This dog doesn't love anyone! Would highly recommend Casey.”

Nealey B.
“Nealey has worked for me several years, taking care of my dog and my cat. She walked the dog regularly (until he passed away a few months ago). The dog, Lester, was always glad to see Nealey and eager to walk with her. Nealey has come to my house to care for the cat when I'm out of town. She feeds the cat, cleans the litter box, and keeps the cat company. Nealey has always been reliable and punctual. It's clear she really cares about animals!”

Rebecca W.
“Rebecca has been a long-time pet sitter and dog walker for our household for several years now. We have two Australian Shepherds and one Tabby cat that she has house sat for many weekend trip that my husband and I have gone on. She not only takes loving care of our insanely high energy Aussies with tons of snuggles and frisbee time, but also tends to the needs of our senior Tabby who requires multiple feedings and medications as well. She manages walks with both Aussies well. I would recommend Rebecca to anyone who adores their pets and wants them to be treated like family. She takes care of ours as if they were her own and she is one of their favorites to see.”

Haley R.Star Sitter
“Over the years of her petsitting career, I have watched Haley build relationships of trust and compassion with her clients and their animals. She is attentive, communicative, and responsible. Wilkinsburg dog parents share their Rover experiences
Cooper enjoyed his walks with Alexandra , because he went with her the second day without hesitation . He loves being outside. I'm sorry it rained those 2 days and it was kind of miserable. Alexandra saved me, because I'm sick and didn't have the energy to walk Cooper.

Tomorrow is the third birthday of my two Maltese - Shih Tsu mix dogs, and Heather has been walking them ever since they came into my life at 4 months of age. They LOVE her and she treats them as her own. She is very trustworthy and even though it means she might not be available when I call, I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who asks!!

Rachel is the most pleasant and loving dogs ever . She understands dogs behavior and needs, she approached our dog with gentleness and let her get to know her slowly and then off they walked to gether. I am looking forward to have her coming for my dog as much as she can.

Kelsey was incredibly kind and wonderful with our dog! She was available rather last minute which was so helpful. And she was very accommodating to my homebody pup. She also asked about her needs beforehand, which I appreciated, and provided updates and photos. Thank you Kelsey!!
