“Victoria did a great job with my Charlie. She introduced the other residents staying with her gradually so he was not overwhelmed. She keeps good control of all the dogs. She is very communicative both in setting up the appointment as well as during the visit itself, and sends videos and text updates. The only thing I was not crazy about was the artificial grass in her yard instead of real grass, but other than that, she did a great job for me.”

“Augusta is so kind and I appreciate her taking great care of my baby boy. She communicates well and sends picture updates which are much appreciated. My Russy feels comfortable at her home and I’m grateful for Augusta’s hospitality. 😊”

“Lucia was able to accommodate my last minute boarding request for my puppy. She's communicative, flexible, and provided a very welcoming home. I received multiple photos a day and even came back to a groomed dog. I would recommend Lucia!”

“We recently needed to find a new sitter for our dogs for the first time in a couple of years so we were a little anxious about how they would handle a new place. They had a great first stay with Ellyn! She sent pictures/updates every day and we could tell that they were comfortable and well cared for. They were happy and tired from their adventures when we picked them up. We will definitely use Ellyn again and would highly recommend her!”

“We were a bit nervous about leaving our fur babies for the first time with a sitter, but Jessica made a point of making us feel at ease. I contacted her to check on our dogs, and she immediately responded and sent pictures to let us know what they were up to. Receiving the pictures and having the ability to see my dog's tail wagging in the picture gave me a sense of comfort. Thank you, Jessica!”

About: I had numerous dogs growing up and currently have one of my own, Finley, a Goldendoodle; I adore looking after pets and others. Dogs of all energy levels are welcome as I have a large yard, great for playtime, and plenty of space to accommodate others. Plenty of experience with medicines and special needs animals, too. Routine is key with time management to make sure there adequate time for play and adventure. Every morning starts with a walk, and I typically take my own pet to the park twice a day. My home has an enclosed backyard with ample space to run around. When house/petsitting, I’ll always ensure pets are on a leash before exiting to run errands or go for a walk.
“Tia was awesome! She sent lots of photos and videos throughout the stay- she was super easy to communicate with and kept me updated the whole time. My dog had such a great time that she didn’t even want to leave when I picked her up. I’d definitely book with Tia again and highly recommend her!”

“Steve was amazing with our dog, Winnie. This was our first trip without her, and without Steve, I definitely would’ve been worrying about her and how she was doing. Instead, we got daily updates showing Winnie living her absolute best life and getting completely spoiled. Honestly, our only concern by the end was whether she’d want to come home. Steve is clearly an animal lover and just a cool person. If you want your dog to have an awesome vacation of their own, book with Steve.”

“Adrienne does an amazing job with Finn! She kept us updated with the absolute cutest pictures and videos of him playing with Phoebe and snuggling on their couch. When we got home, he was so snoozy after having a great few days playing with his buddies. Thanks again for taking great care of our little guy.”

“Justin was just fabulous with my corgi terrier mix Monty! He is communicative and conscientious and just a super nice person. He sent wonderful pics and informative and helpful updates. I felt completely comfortable leaving Monty with Justin and cannot recommend him highly enough. Five stars!”

“Michelle did a great job watching my dog, Pepper. She lives in a quiet neighborhood and has a large yard for dogs to run around in. I had peace of mind having her pet-sit Pepper for the weekend.”

“My cat is anxious and shy and Audrey did a great job keeping her comfortable. She was very responsive and I received regular updates. My cat didn’t want to leave her at the end haha. Would recommend her to anyone. Thanks for everything! 🩷”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wilkinsburg
Adisyn took amazing care of our Clyde when we were out of town for the weekend. He had Teddy as an amazing playmate. Adisyn periodically would give updates with photos on how he was doing and activities they were up to. She was also a life saver as our plane ride home ended up cancelled, leaving Clyde there an extra night. She was very understanding and flexible. We will 100% think of Adisyn & Teddy for future stays. Clyde enjoyed his time there:)

We had an amazing experience! Our dog stayed with Krista for three weeks, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. Krista sent frequent updates and lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were traveling. It was clear our dog was happy, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and Krista was reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring. We came home to a happy, healthy pup, and we are so grateful for the wonderful care she provided. We would absolutely book with Krista again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate dog sitter!

Sharon is the BEST. We’ve booked her 4 or 5 times now and each booking has been a great experience. She’s extremely communicative, was great with administering and keeping track of our senior dog’s medications, and made us and our dog extremely comfortable. As long as Sharon’s available, we’ll use her services in the future!

Erin is the best of the best! Our dog has high anxiety with initial separation during drop off, and Erin was so accommodating with her rather long routine of kongs and walks to get her settled. She is excellent with communication and our dog Willow came home so happy <3 We are "those crazy dog parents" and our dog is our child, and we could not be more satisfied with (and grateful for) Erin's care!

Valerie K is a star. We have a complicated little dog with anxiety and a difficult past and Valerie was so patient and kind with him. She allowed us to schedule doggy day care days ahead of our big weekend away so that our dog would feel comfortable and safe with her ahead of the trip. She sent us adorable photos and videos of our old guy getting snuggles and going on adventures. She was a dream to work with, very professional and personable. We hope to work with Valerie again!

This was my first time using Rover after recently adopting my dog, Brick and it was such a great experience. Ellyn took great care of Brick during his 8-night stay while I was on vacation. She sent me daily updates with photos which made me feel at ease. When I picked Brick up, it was obvious he had been loved and well cared for during his stay. He came home happy and relaxed. I truly appreciated the attention and care Ellyn and her family gave him, and I never had to worry while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Ellyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and I will definitely be booking with her again in the future!

Mikaela was great! She took in our pup at the last minute due to a family emergency and was so flexible, kind and communicative. She took the time to look over my dog’s profile and had follow up questions for me at drop off. I really appreciated that attention to detail and I can tell my dog was very well cared for!

Pam was so friendly to me and, evidently, to my dog! She was understanding of his little quirks and helped him adjust to her house. Also, I didn't know how long he would need to stay, and she was very flexible and easy-going about extending his time. I wouldn't hesitate to call on her again.

Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.
