About: I've been caring for dogs for over 10 years, from walking and feeding to overnight stays. I often pet-sit for friends when they travel, and I've also rescued and nursed several stray dogs back to health. Every dog I care for is treated with the same love and attention as my own. I work from home full-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. I'm able to walk, feed, and spend time with dogs throughout the day, not just during set hours. Weekends and evenings are open for boarding as well. I provide a calm, clean, and secure indoor environment for boarding dogs. Each dog gets a comfortable resting area, and I take them out for regular walks and bathroom breaks. Safety is always my top priority. I never leave dogs unsupervised in unfamiliar or hazardous situations.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, both breeder and rescue! I understand the patience, love, and discipline all dogs need, and am ready to give them my all when in my care! My schedule is flexible if there’s two weeks notice. I work on a daily/weekly schedule in the restaurant and film industry, so if I have aforementioned advanced notice I can plan to be home for as long as needed for a pup! While I have no yard of my own, I am near Mellon Park and a couple blocks away from family that will allow me to use their fenced-in backyard as needed! All of my friends and family are dog lovers, so if anyone visits my apartment, your dog will be double cuddled and spoiled and loved (Note: I will be the primary caregiver, I will not cede care of your pet to anyone else while working. I will always be present)! I have plenty of healthy treats as well, and if no specific bed is provided for a lodging stay, I’m willing to buy one myself. Dogs are allowed on couches/chairs with some blankets I already have, and I will put their bed next to me in my room during the night. I love taking walks around the neighborhood and enjoying food, and obviously would have some eager canine company to join me!

Our little guy deals with a lot of fear and anxiety which has made traveling very difficult for us. Valerie is a miracle worker. He had so many adventures and made friends with other dogs. Responsive, caring , kind and supportive sitter. My dog developed some allergies and began coughing when I left my dog with Chris. Chris went out of his way to help Pluto feel better. He even picked up medicine’s for Pluto. Cuddled him and gave him loads of love. He was constantly updating us and kept us in loop and ensured we didn’t take stress while we were away. Martin was a perfect person for my two dogs. They haven’t stayed away from home before. He was so patient with them and took time out to win Maggie over! Daniel did a wonderful job with our golden retriever. Although he had never spent time with our dog, Daniel understood what our dog craves (petting!) and what he really enjoys (playing with other dogs). Daniel’s dogs were great playmates to our dog. Also house very clean, a fenced in back yard and great communication. We will use Daniel again.
