“Sylvia is a trustworthy person to take care of your furry friends. I was wary of using Rover because I’ve never had a stranger take care of my dog, let alone come into my vacant apartment. Sylvia was very thorough in updating me and sending pictures/ videos of what she was doing and how my dog was doing. She was very communicative and made sure I didn’t worry about my dog. Highly recommend!”

“Maria did a great job walking my dogs. She quickly developed a nice rapport with them, and I know Lucky loved his longer walks to the park, and Harley her short walks.”

“Jessica has been caring for my dog Niko for several years. From the first meeting I was impressed with how she interacted with Niko and how quickly she put him at ease. He loves her and when I have to leave him knowing Jessica is there to care for him gives me incredible peace of mind! She is someone who really loves and understands animals and it shows in how happy and relaxed Niko is when I return home. You couldn’t ask for a better caretaker for your pet!”

“Amanda is such a great dog walker! Not only is she dependable, but she is kind and patient. My dog was skeptical and did not want to walk with Amanda at first. Instead of giving up, Amanda took the time to play and have my dog get comfortable with her. Now my dog gets super excited any time Amanda is here for their walk. She’s really great and such a sweet person!”

About: Hello! I've had a deep love of dogs my entire life and was fortunate enough to have had two beautiful dogs over the past 25 years. I love to walk, play and lightly train dogs while they're in my care. I'm also developing healthy dog treats that I share with all the neighbor's dogs for their input (they love them!). I currently volunteer at PAWS NY, which helps humans & dogs, providing walks for the elderly or people that are disabled. I look forward to caring for your dog as my own. They are angels and deserve the best care! I am available to walk or sit dogs 7 days a week! I was recently job-eliminated, working for the past 35+ years in the publishing field, so now my main focus is on dogs, finally! I currently live in an apartment on the 2nd floor which is easily accessible to the outdoors. I also have access to a small fenced in yard in my 3-family home and access to a larger, unfenced yard next door, where my daughter lives. I love to walk and can walk for mile to the nearest large park in Whitestone or Bayside.

“Ari has been great with my pup. During the meet and greet, he asked great questions and played with Nala which made me feel more comfortable. I will definitely continue to use his services and Nala seems to like him too!”

“Cemre recently started walking my dog. She is a good communicator and quick to respond! She will leave extra details about her walk with my dog where they enjoy their time together. Cemre and I have flex work schedules which change each week. She’s a pleasure to check in with to accomodate my pup with our schedules.”

About: I love dogs and have had them my whole life. My dog Peanut, who’s in my profile picture with me, is my pride and joy, and I plan on taking care of him when I have my own home. My parents are out of town for work quite often, so I have cared for him on my own for extended periods of time, and I love spending time with him. I helped crate train him when he was younger as well, on top of other skills. I would love to help take care of others’ pets, and get to know everyone’s amazing animals! I’m a full time college student, and go to school on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, so I will definitely have weekday availability to anyone in the city who needs pet care. I’ll be mostly available in the afternoon, but I also have my hours available on my profile. I have one small-medium size, very friendly dog at home, and a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I would prefer to do visits in the clients home, because I do live with my family, however depending on the dog it may be possible.

About: I've cared for my cat for 4 years and she's as healthy as can be. I've also looked after my neighbor's cats while he was away. I’m currently working part time but I will always have time to care for furry friends! I’ll be returning to school in the fall but I will still be able to look after any pets. I have my cat in my apartment and take her out occasionally to wander around outside with a harness and leash on for safety. She is okay around other cats.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently care for my own pup, Puffles, who’s been my best friend and biggest inspiration to start offering pet care to others. I’ve walked and cared for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. What sets me apart is my attention to detail, and love for getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I make it a point to tailor each walk or visit to your dog’s needs. Whether that means a high energy park adventure, or a quiet stroll through the neighborhood, My goal is simple, to keep your furry friends happy, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way! Hi, I'm Bianca, a full time college student and part time lifeguard and dog walker. I take pet care seriously both on and off duty, making sure every pup I walk gets dependable, loving attention. I typically have availability in the early mornings, late afternoons, and on weekends. I plan my walking schedule around my lifeguard shifts to make sure I’m fully present and reliable for each pup I care for. Whether it’s a walk before work, or an evening drop in, I always make time to give dogs the attention and care they deserve. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or taking them on a walk, safety is always my top priority. I never walk dogs off leash and always come prepared with extra supplies (poop bags, water, and treats). If I’m entering your home for a drop in, I treat it with respect and cleanliness, and I’ll always check in with a photo or quick update. You can count on me to keep your pup happy, healthy, and loved, like they’re one of my own.

About: My husband and I are animal lovers, but I would be the main watch keeper since I am home full time :) We have been around puppies our whole life. I call all doggies, puppies (regardless if they're young and old) I grew up with Cocker Spaniels and my husband with a Mini Pinscher. We currently do not have any dogs at home Potty time for your pup is whenever the pup needs, we have a fenced backyard where they can go at any minute of the day, in addition to the daily walks around the neighborhood. I would love to have the opportunity to watch these little ones. I have used Rover.com in the past ,and had a great experience. This was prior to my little Spaniel girl Kiki passing away at the age of 13 due to a uterus infection :( So looking to give the same love that she received from her sitter to another puppy. I will keep you posted throughout the day with pictures and videos so you have a peace of mind that your pup is in good care and happy. I am more than happy to meet with you and your pooch before you confirm my sitter services to make sure your pup feels comfortable and vice versa.

About: I have a lifetime of experience with dogs and cats. I was a in elementary school when I got my first cat. I have experience taking care of and owning both dogs and cats. I’m an animal lover in general and love to play with them and give affection. I used to take our dog Cody, who we rescued (golden retriever) swimming, running, jet skiing, hiking, etc. My home and style is safe and quite. I am very strong, physically fit (pilates instructor) respectful and well mannered. I say hello to animals more than I do people. I work part time teaching Pilates and most times I teach at home so I have plenty of time to spend pampering your pet. My cats and dog were very loved and well cared for. I fed them only organic and they got fresh water twice a day. Playing games and cuddling, all tailored to your pet’s personality. Daily walks and ear/neck scratches. Frequent walks. I’m a fitness influencer so I love getting exercise and being in nature.
