About: My house at the moment is located in Queens, NY. I owned a cocker spaniel for 11 years; Then, a chocolate Labrador for 8 years; he unfortunately passed in April (2023); that dog was my everything and I have not been the same since. I do not plan on getting more dogs so i have the chance to share the love i have for animals/dogs with hope it will bring some joy back into my life!! There is plenty of room for play, walks and cuddles for your fur baby! Attention is definitely what they will receive in my home!! A home full of an adoration for dogs is key to making sure your pup is happy and safe. My home is fairly big and clean with a fenced backyard, but since i am used to walking and if you prefer walks, i can do that for you as well. I am here to make sure you & your sweet baby is happy and feel comfortable & loved the time they are with me.

“Marika was always on time and communicative throughout this entire process. This is the first time I’ve used something like this and she made the experience easy. I was away, but my mother was here to stay with kennedy, and according to her experience, she said she came on time and really did take care of the dog during his walks. He would be very excited when he saw her through the window and ready to start his walk with her. And when he came back, he was tired a lot more calm than he’s been especially for being six months it was really impressive. She’s definitely someone I’m gonna reconsider hiring again if I need her for this type of situation. Also would like to point out that we loss his poop bag holder and she replaced it free of charge with one she had at home. Which she didn’t have to do. But I still appreciate so much.”

About: Hello! I am a recent grad student with a degree in Animal Science with personal experience with dogs, cats, and reptiles, including taking college courses specifically on domestic animals. I have volunteered at multiple shelters and Veterinarian offices I’ve the years, and have worked at a Doggy Daycare. Because of this, I am able to administer medications(oral, ointment, or injection). I also fostered several dogs and puppies, as well as help care for and train several huskies as mascots. I have experience training dogs and walking dogs of all sizes. I am super excited to meet you and your pets, and have a ton of fun! I am free all time, just trying to fill my days with some pets after missing my own. I can walk or play with your pets at anytime so they aren’t thrown off a routine. I have plenty of experience with both dogs that stay in a crate, and dogs that are allowed to free roam the house. I am confident I will be able to keep your pets as safe as possible, while also giving gem plenty of love and attention.

During my time spent with your pup they will be walked, fed, and entertained and they will receive the same care you would give them. I will insure cleanliness throughout the times spent at your property. I will clean up after and take care of your baby while you wait to come home to them.

About: Taken care of a dog for 15 years and now a cat for more than 5 years, love baby’s of all sizes and ages, longest I’ve taken care of a dog at my home is 2 weeks. Understandable and caring. About: I've taken care of many pets ever since I was a little girl. Always had pets in the house, dogs, cats, even guinea pigs and a mouse. I also used to volunteer as a kid at my camp to work with the animals in the stables like the goats, bunnies, and brushing the horses. As I got older my love for animals never wavered, so I went to high school and I majored in agricultural sciences and spent my first summer there on our land-lab taking care of not only an arrange of animals, but plants as well. I also volunteered at a pet store near my high school caring for stray animals that were brought in, and at one point a bunch of baby kittens, alongside my best friend. I have always loved dogs and cats most and would love to have them as pets again. My family and I started our pet sitting Journey when we used to live out in Florida, it's been almost 2 years now, since moving back to New York City . We have gotten the chance to sit many furry four legged friends, and now I have two of our own. We would still love the opportunity to continue to caring for other's pets as well. My kids and I used to feed and give love to some of the strays we'd see in our neighborhood, back in Florida( unofficial cat lady lol 😅 ). We cannot wait to care for your furry, four legged family member. Home is well air conditioned, space to accommodate a crate if you have, and will be able to give walks around area, or nearby park. You can rest assured your pet will get lots of love and attention, as my children LOVE animals as much as I do, and jump to the opportunity to assist me with them I'm currently working part-time, so I am usually able to give walks in the morning, and in the evening after 6:00 p.m. However, on my days off, I can give walks at least three times a day. I would be able to work out a schedule that might be accommodating for the both of us. I would prefer to have them dropped off during the evening's, after 7pm. We adopted a Maltese/ Silky terrier mix dog(female), and a Chihuahua/ Terry mix dog (male). I use our bedrooms (mine and the kids) to place them in, to accommodate while the other dog is out. Or, we can use the backyard or crate.

About: I’ve worked at the Brooklyn zoo and aquarium in Brooklyn as a teen. Then worked my way to volunteering at my local animal shelter. I’ve always had a love for animals. Now I foster dogs and cats till they find their forever homes. Even family and friends ask me to watch their pets on occasion. I’ve done dog walking and boarding for many years now as well and I would love to continue to provide for animals rain or shine. I currently work from home so the most I leave for are some social events here and there or groceries. I have transportation if pick up and drop off is needs as well. I have a gated yard around my apartment. There grass and all the other animals in the building run around and use the property. I provide at least three walks/potty breaks a day, take time to train and reward. I’ve giving medication and baths on request as well.
