I've got one small, dog-friendly, senior frenchie that will gladly share his cots, blankets, and toys but will likely ignore your dog most of the day cuz he's too busy napping. You're welcome to bring crates, beds, blankets, or toys to make your fur baby comfortable. But we love to share ours. Water bowls are accessible all day. I'm happy to provide food, treats, and/or meds per your instructions.

I have a lot of animal care experience - everything from cats and dogs to large farm and zoo animals - so I know how to handle pets of any size! About: Hi! I’m Eve, a lifelong animal lover with over a decade of hands-on dog care experience, including fostering, volunteering, boarding, and raising my own sweet girl (an American Staffordshire Terrier) who recently passed at 11 years old. She was my best friend and my whole heart, and I understand how important your babies are to you. I promise that as soon as they step their paw into my door, they will be loved and spoiled just like they’re my own, whether that’s just for a a few hours or for a few weeks. Don’t worry though, I will give them back…really, promise. I work part-time and mostly from home, which means your dog will get lots of attention, companionship, and love throughout the day. I’m especially comfortable with puppies, shy dogs, and those who need a little extra structure or training reinforcement, so please let me know what you’re working on and I will be happy to support your goals. I walk or hike about 5 miles daily and often head to a nearby off-leash dog park before sunset. If your pup enjoys being social and has solid recall, I’d be happy to bring them along. If they prefer quieter walks, I’ll tailor our outings to fit their comfort level. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and personalities and always try to meet each one where they are, whether that means reinforcing basic manners, offering gentle structure, or simply providing a cozy, low-stress stay. I’m usually available most days, and I always strive to create a safe, peaceful, and fun home environment for my guests. If my calendar shows I’m unavailable, it’s usually because I’m either traveling, have an event that day, or already have a pup or two that I think will keep my hands full. Still, feel free to reach out, sometimes the right pup is a perfect fit! For example, I may block my calendar to protect a young puppy from outside exposure, but if you also have a young puppy, that could actually make for a safe and fun playmate pairing. Happy, respectful pups get the full VIP experience. If your dog is calm, house-trained, and well-mannered, they’re welcome to enjoy full access to the home, relax in the fenced backyard, and join me on long daily walks or hikes to a nearby off-leash dog park. For dogs who are still learning or need a little extra guidance, whether it’s potty training, leash pulling, barking, jumping on furniture, or reactivity, I adjust their environment to set them up for success. That might mean using a cozy indoor playpen, taking shorter leashed walks instead of park trips, or using a crate/playpen when unsupervised, based on your preferences and your dog’s needs. I’m always happy to support training goals during their stay, from reinforcing basic manners to helping with leash skills or keeping four paws on the floor. Above all, I aim to create a peaceful, positive space where each pup feels safe, secure, and loved. ⸻ Your Pup’s Home Away From Home I do this because I genuinely love dogs and truly enjoy their company. I treat every pup like my own, and we spend a lot of time together, whether that’s lounging at home, exploring the neighborhood, or heading out on a hike. I only host one or two dogs at a time, and I’m very intentional about making sure each pup feels safe, relaxed, and happy. If I do accept a second dog, it’s because I believe they’ll be a great playmate and companion for the first pup I’ve already booked, never just to fill space, and usually just for a daycare visit. Home Amenities and Supplies Include: • Fully fenced, dog-safe yard with grass, shade, an outdoor dog bed, and room to run or relax • AirTags and AirTag collars and keychains for peace of mind for Houdinis (never before needed as our backyard is very secure, but better safe than sorry!) • A clean, climate-controlled home with plush beds, cozy blankets, and an extra-large cloth playpen for puppies needing unsupervised rest • Three baskets of toys in the living room, bedroom, and backyard - for enrichment and fun • A grooming brush and deshedding mitts - I’m happy to do light brushing if your pup enjoys it (with treats!) • No resident dogs — just a 3 oz cockatiel (always separated) and backyard chickens kept in their coop • Overnight guests sleep in their own plush bed or cozy crate next to mine depending on preference and needs Insurance: Your pup’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. In addition to Rover’s protection, I also carry professional pet sitter insurance for extra peace of mind. I take pride in creating a safe, reliable, and loving environment for all my guests.

My personal opinion on watching a pet is understanding the owners rules and commands in order to keep a harmonious home and happy pet. I am very willing and open to work with owners on scheduling walks, check ins, and short or longer dog sitting. I communicate very well, honest on what I can confidently accomplish, and always follow up with pictures and detailed updates on all types of check ins. I have my own bashful weenie dog who acts like a prince so know I’ll treat your furry friend with the same love & respect as my own :) My past experience includes many family pets (Australian Shepard, Yorkie, Irish Wolf Hound), assisting my now retired Vet Tech Mother in training two therapy dogs, and numerous dog walking & sitting jobs for dogs & kitties of all sizes. Open to discussion about adjusting pricing options based on you & your pets needs. Overall flexibility for days and various hours for home pet sitting, daily walks or occasional assistance. I have rare last minute changes in my schedule that would ever interrupt a confirmed booking, and I’m always transparent on my timeliness. Having your dog at my home: up to you! I have a fenced in courtyard & backyard that is dog proofed with no dangerous items in the vicinity and never leave a pet alone outdoors. Indoors, we have ‘puppy proofed’ our home, we do not have carpet, and do have AC and fans for the hot days. My dog is a shy weenie dog who gets along with most dogs and is not food aggressive nor territorial, if there is an issue between them, separating them is simple to do. Typically I do not take other people’s dogs to dog parks or off-leash beaches for owners own reassurance; but am open to whatever you prefer and feel confident allowing me to do. Your own house rules such as bones, treats, crates, etc are always respected even when visiting my home.

About: I’ve cared for and walked dogs extensively over the last 5 years for family and friends and looking forward to expanding this service to others in the SB community I am a remote worker with a flexible schedule. I spend a lot of my time outdoors whether getting sunshine on the beach or on the trails! I have a pup of my own so if yours ever needs some socializing I can bring her with us or leave her at home if your pup desires more one on one care. I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own!! I will provide updates to you on our walks or overnight care so you feel in the loop and at ease.

I have worked with dogs under 10 lbs up to 150+. I have worked with high-anxiety, reactive and special needs dogs and can assure you I have all the patience in the world to insure the comfort and safety of your pet. I have a 1.5year old German Shepherd who has vastly expanded my skills in dog handling and training. At my most recent job one of my key roles was guiding puppies and adolescents through social interactions as well as practicing being on a leash. I’m happy to work on leash manners with dogs of any age! I am on Rover full time at the moment so I have all the time in the world for your furry friends! I do have my own dog and 2 cats so I’m not currently available for any over night stays. I have my own car and live close to down town so same day bookings are no problem! I am a strong believer in leaving a place better than you found it. I can assure you that safety, trust, ( and fun of course!) are my top priorities. I used to have my own hedgehog, and have helped care for friends’ dogs and cats. I work part-time and have time during my days to stop in and spend time with your pets! About: I have 2 cats and 1 dog , have worked with trainers to learn how to better understand my fur babies. About: I was raised on a farm where we took care of dogs, cattle, goats and chicken. I grew up always in contact with animals, specially with my dogs that we rescued from the local shelter in Argentina. We rescued more than 8 dogs throughout my life on the farm and we still take care of them as one more on the family. I currently have a reactive catahoula pittie mix that has made incredible progress with her reactivity to other dogs with training. I love all dogs big and small and can handle anxiety reactivity or anything else they might throw at me! Im currently working part time but my schedule is very flexible, so I can accommodate my hours to walk your critter or dog at anytime. I currently do not take dogs into my own home because of my dog but am happy to walk your critter or dog sit in the comfort of their own home!

About: I grew up with a small Havanese that was well loved. I had the joy of taking care of him in his last few weeks before he passed. I have a passion for showing senior dogs the love and care they deserve. I work an office job downtown 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. I have some flexibility at lunch time and my weekends are open unless I am out of town. I pride myself in being respectful of your space.
