About: I am an active and athletic individual who will provide exercise and care for your dog while you are away. I will give them the attention they need! I am available all summer until I start college in the fall. I am attending college locally and will adjust my schedule when my classes start. I will be on time and respectful of your dog and your propery. I will listen to your instructions and be sure to follow them for your dog's safety and happiness.

“Lisa is awesome! My Maggie loves her and she doesn’t just love anyone, lol. I have a crazy job and Lisa is always willing to work with me even on a short notice. I’m just so grateful.”

“Vanessa was a pleasure to work with. Our dog, Gretel, loved her. She took her on multiple walks a day for us and Gretel was so excited to see her each time. She was super easy to work with and made scheduling so easy. Highly recommend her and would book again in a second.”

“Kate has been walking my rescue dog and she’s been absolutely caring and lovely with him. He has a tendency to bark at people but that’s just his way of saying hello I’m here. Kate was not put off and she worked with my dog’s trainer and me so she and my dog would be comfortable with each other. I highly recommend Kate. She is reliable, trustworthy and caring. Glad she was available for us!!!”

About: I have worked intensively for 3 years in dog daycare with as many as 30 dogs in a room. Before that I’ve always been an avid dog owner and caretaker for as long as I can remember. I work mornings during the week, so I am available after 1:30 pm weekdays. I am very punctual and reliable, and deeply care for a dogs wellbeing! I prefer to care for pets in a client’s home, although I’m sure there can be some exceptions, although I don’t have a huge amount of space

About: I am a cat lover, cat owner, and cat shelter volunteer. I love small dogs too! I will follow your directions and give them love. I work at a school, so my summers are free to watch your pets. In September, my hours will be more limited to evenings and weekends. I will follow your instructions exactly. I understand that every animal has its quirks and its own personality. I am always gentle, kind, and patient.

“Trying out a new dog walker is always a little scary but Melanie I couldn’t be a better choice! She is friendly and great with dogs. She is very patient with our shy 1 1/2 year old pup who takes a while to get used to new people! Looking forward to using her again (so are our pups)!!!”

About: I love dogs, cats and all animals and have enjoyed pet sitting on Rover for the past year. Currently, I work during school hours as a teacher's aide and my afternoons and evenings are pretty free. I also have weekend availability for walks, pet sitting and house sitting. I'm very attentive and can adapt to your pet's usual routine. I always try to leave spaces exactly as I find them and always strive to provide a gentle, caring environment. I had a mini poodle for 17 years and cared for him from his puppy days until he passed in 2020. I also grew up with cats and rabbits. In addition, I have experience maintaining freshwater aquariums. I work part time during the school day, so my usual routine with pets I board is that I walk dogs before work, then come home on my lunch break for a quick walk, then do an afternoon and nighttime walk. I have a fenced in yard and live with my mom, who is retired. There will almost always be someone around to dote on your pet.

About: I'm Anthony. I am a native Jersey Boy and I love animals (especially dogs). I currently do not have a dog. I am in the process of applying to volunteer at a local animal shelter, and have decided to also sign up for Rover to [word] my love for animals. I grew up with both small (yorkies, Maltese's, silkies, and Pomeranians) and large dogs (Boxers). I am particularly fond of small lap dogs and I have owned 3 Pomeranians myself (Bear, Lionel, & Samson!). I am a very responsible pet-owner and sitter who works remotely at a large hospital in NYC. My experience with small dogs is extensive. I've had no problem waking up in the middle of the night raising my puppies and feeding them to prevent hypoglycemia. I've also trained dogs to use both pee pads and to go potty outdoors (a feat that was very impressive to several Veterinarians!). And, as a marathoner, I enjoy walking, jogging, and running with all dogs or an energetic play session in my apartment. Additionally, as a previous owner of pure-bred dogs, I am familiar with breed specific medical conditions and as a healthcare worker am well equipped to administer medication and monitor health concerns and/or issues. For larger dogs, as I am a runner, I enjoy tiring them out (if okay with the owner). I grew up leash training out boxers to jog alongside me. I lead a very active lifestyle, and am a fan of including dogs in the lifestyle (if okay with the owner). As Westfield is a very walkable city, I enjoy taking doggos to coffee shops or dinner al fresco. I work from home 100%. I am a Manager for an NYC Hospital and work 9am - 5pm. I am very active (early morning runs, late evening runs) and am well-equipped to tend and care for dogs with my full attention. We live in an apartment with no other pets and we are fine accommodating your dog's permanent home environment and routine. We have a crate and dog gates.

About: I have loved Animals my whole life and wanted to be around them since I was a little boy. They are my calling! ! ! I have open Availability. I have my own puppy that I take care of at home because he needs special attention to grow and thrive. I have a spacious apartment in Westfield, my dog has his own room where my clients dogs will also be staying. I have outstanding house etiquette being in clients homes.

About: Ive been walking and looking after dogs from a young age and have experience with a range of dog types as well as ages. I can provide picture or video updates so you never feel disconnected! I will be available on the weekends as I currently work full time during the week. Week day visits can be arranged if needed though I will not be able to provide at home service but can go to your home and can provide consistent routine that your dog is used to

About: I love spending time and bonding with all pets. I have a Doberman Pinscher who I raised from 10 weeks to her current 8 years. I am comfortable with all dog breeds. I am used to walking dogs that other dogs and people are afraid of. Having a high-energy breed of dog, I am also familiar with the most effective ways exercise them. My own dog prefers biking with me and also playing catch in tennis courts. Each dog is different and I’m positive I could make your dog as happy (and tired) as mine is. I have basic training experience and experience with all types of leashes, leads, collars, and harnesses. Most of all, I am familiar with the love we have for our pets and want to share that with my clients. I am active in the pet community in Union county, if there is something that I cannot handle, I can certainly provide recommendations. Walking my dog and clients dogs is an essential part of my day and I enjoy getting to share the peace with them. This care is essential and a priority for me and pets. My dog has been taught boundaries since she was a puppy and I practice the same with other pets. She has a dedicated place to eat, sleep, she does not have access to bedrooms for sanitary purposes as well as furniture. Of course it is necessary to mirror the pet parent’s boundaries which is what will be practiced in their home.

About: I've owned and cared for dogs my entire life, and it's taught me both the joy and responsibility that comes with it- walking, playing, feeding, and petting. I also have experience with senior dogs, supporting them with patience and care and always matching their pace and comfort level on walks. I am currently working a part time job, where my hours can be flexible and vary, meaning I have plenty of time this summer to walk and care for your dogs! Within my clients home, I will follow instructions and respect their space. I will feed their pets, walk them and/or let them outdoors (if fenced in yard is available), play with them, and keep them hydrated!

She is an excellent person to hire to care for your dog or dogs. Disciplined, and responsible, I would hire her every time I need a sitter or walker for my current dog Sophie, but I moved five hours away. I highly recommend her.”

I have always trusted him deeply and he would care for any animals as though they were his own, showering them with attention and love. He has great attention to detail to follow any instructions, and lots of energy to keep up with more active pups. I would have no hesitations about trusting Anthony to look after my pets (or my children!)”

“Amazing !”

Justice M.
“Justice is a huge dog lover. For the 2 years that I have known him, he always has shown love to other dogs whether they’re in a car, walking with it’s owner and now his own dog, Jumba. He is truly becoming his best self.”
