About: I’m a stay at home mom with too many years experience caring for dogs and puppies to count! Our home is a dog’s dream vacation. We have a friendly dog who loves company, two small kids who adore playing with pups, and a spacious fenced in yard perfect for romping around. Your dog won’t just be looked after—they’ll be part of our family while you’re away. I am a stay at home mom of two elementary school kids , so my schedule is pretty flexible and gives me time to show your sweet pups all the attention and love they need. I have a spacious fenced in yard where your pups can run around and play in. It’s my goal to make your dog feel as loved and safe as they do at home.
About: I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages through my volunteer work at HFGDR. “Elaine has been amazing with our dog, Jax! He’s usually pretty shy, but he warmed up to her so quickly. It’s clear she really understands dogs and takes her time to make them feel comfortable. She’s reliable, kind, and clearly loves what she does. We’re so glad we found her!”

About: Hi, my name is Isabel. I am an animal lover providing pet sitting, dog walking, and pet visits to your furry or feathery friends! I am very experienced with animals. I have had every pet you could possibly imagine, from dogs to parrots. My passion has grown stronger and stronger throughout my life, creating bonds with my clients and own pets. It has grown so strong as to create a future for me. I plan to pursue my dream career and fulfill my passion for animals by studying to become a veterinarian. I have always wanted this and never had a doubt in the world about working with animals in my future career. I know that I am greatly equipped and awesome for this position. This is not a job for me, but rather an opportunity to create bonds, share my passion, and reach my goals.
“He’s always on time and does great with my dog. He is consistent and I know my dog is in good hands whenever Anthony takes care of her. He is also always available available when needed. Thanks, Anthony.!”

About: I have had dogs for 25 years, we had 2 rescue dogs when our kids were growing up. Since then I have walked and dog sat for many different families. I prefer to have 1 dog at a time for dog sitting overnight and for weeks at a time. I have had people’s dogs stay with me for several weeks at a time. It is such a rewarding experience and I love meeting so many different dogs. They bring so much love and affection to me and I give the same or more love back to them. I am working F/T starting in October. Right now I am able to walk the dog(s) anytime of day to meet their schedule. When I start working I could walk the dog in the morning before work and again at 3:00 when I will be getting home from work, and again in the evening. I enjoy long walks and would take the dog with me and give him/her some exercise. I also have my son who works in Westfield who could take the dog for a walk at lunchtime. I am an active person and can never have enough walking, etc. I would love to sit/walk your favorite furry family member. I have a partially fenced yard therefore I will never let the dog out without a leash. I have a huge backyard with lots of trees and foliage. Your dog will have a great time here inside or outside. I have lots of love and affection to share with your pet.a
About: I have been taking care and pet sitting all kinds of pets and animals since I was 16 years old. I have worked in dog daycares and boarding facilities for around 3 years. I have been trained in dog behavior, temperament, and care. I have a lot of experience with providing dogs and other pets with the proper care they deserve. I love all kinds of animals and want to provide the best care for your pets. I am currently not working so I have lots of available time to provide visits and care for your pets. I am more available during the daytime but can do evening visits as well. I cannot provide care in my own home but I am very open and willing to provide care in my clients home. I love and care about routines so any routine your pet needs to follow I will be able to provide that in my clients home.

“Lisa was great with our dog, Flynn and we appreciated her professionalism and dependability. Her experience with rescue dogs was a plus - knowing they need some patience when introduced to new people - Flynn took to Lisa right away.”
“Diane was great and really took care of my dog Timber on his walk. She was very communicative and I felt very comfortable and knew I had nothing to worry about while I was at work - Thank You!”

“Ashley swooped in and saved the day while my mother was recovering from a health condition and unable to take care of our family dog, Sunny. Ashley was truly a bright spot during a difficult week. We are so grateful to her! Highest possible recommendation, as Ashley was so easy to communicate with, extremely reliable and flexible, and bonded with Sunny so well right away. Thank you, Ashley!”

About: I’ve walked dogs since high school! I have also volunteered at an animal shelter for the passed 2 years taking care of a variety of different sized breeds. I have also been a vet assistant at clinic since September! I’m currently in college and working part time but have more time on the weekends and to do overnight pet care if needed! I also have some time during the week and will be more available this summer. In a clients home, my attention would be on the dog! I would not let them be outside unsupervised, and would strictly follow the instructions given by the owner.

Jessica came a couple days early to meet the dogs, and get instructions. I found her to be outgoing and personable. We hired her for 2 walks and had her feed our boys as well. I received photos and updates of her arrival, everything went as planned. I would highly recommend Jessica and wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again!

Ariadne has gone above and beyond for my pup and I. She is punctual, communicative and flexible! She stays a bit after the walk to make sure my pup is hydrated and settled before she leaves. She even brought her own bowl for his walk! I went from one or two walks, to hiring her full-time. Amazing!!

If you're looking for a dedicated and compassionate dog walker, Abby is the perfect choice! She has done an incredible job taking care of our three fur babies. I highly recommend Abby to anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring dog walker. Your pets will be in great hands! 🐾

Vanessa has been amazing with my dog. She’s always on time, super communicative, and you can tell she truly loves animals the moment she meets them. I’d recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their pet.

We needed a walker last minute and so glad we found Armin! He is communicative, punctual, and kind. He was immediately great with my Husky mix and has now become my go-to when we need a dog walker. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
