About: Since high school, I’ve always had pets around me. When I was full-time Army stationed in Alaska, my leadership asked me to dog sit their pets and ever since then I was the go to dog sitter for our Company. I sometimes spent weeks juggling getting to work in the early mornings and getting home in time to take care of their pets and their homes. I enjoyed taking care of their dogs on the day to day! About: I love animals and have experience working with and sitting for a wide range of them, including dogs, cats, and small or exotic animals. I myself have owned over twenty parrots (currently have two in the aviary!) and have extensive experience with fishkeeping — I have four cycled, walstad fish and shrimp tanks! I can walk your dog, clean your cat’s litter box, and even do water changes for your fish if needed! Anything to make sure your little guys are well cared for! I’m a graduate student who will be free over the summer, so my schedule is flexible until late August. I can make myself and my home available as needed. I live in a townhome that features a large, lush, and open neighborhood to walk your dogs in. My home has two floors; the first floor is where your pet will stay. When your pet is in my home, they are treated like members of my family. They will be fed, walked, and enriched on your schedule, and will be allowed to sit on the couch and even sleep in my bed at nights if comfortable. I take great care to ensure that your pet’s stay is comfortable and fun-filled. In my home, I currently have two budgies in a large cage and two betta fish, each in 5-10 gallon tanks. The parrots are allowed to free fly for most of the day, but they will be put away or kept caged when your pets are being boarded. When I am in your home, I cultivate the utmost respect. I try not to disturb or move anything that’s not necessary. I’ll make use of only what’s given to me with regards to caring for your pet, and leave everything else exactly how I found it.

One thing I especially appreciated was how communicative she was. She regularly sent photos and updates, letting me know how Max was doing and keeping me informed about his behavior and activities. As a dog mom, those updates meant the world to me and helped me feel connected to him even when I couldn’t be there. About: We are a loving family who are excited to open our home to your pet. We were proud dog owners for 13 years, and caring for our beloved Brandin was a big part of our daily life. We truly enjoy being around dogs and creating a warm, safe environment where they feel comfortable and loved. Between myself and my husband if not both someone is usually at home. I only work part time and my husband is a NJ Firefighter which gives us free time to care for your pet. We have a fully fenced in yard where dogs can safely play, get fresh air, and we live in a friendly dog loving community that’s perfect for walks and outdoor time.
