About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly love caring for them. I have hands-on experience working at doggy daycare facilities, where I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Whether your pup needs a potty break, a walk, playtime, fresh food and water, or loving attention while you’re at work or on vacation, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. My goal is to make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work part-time at k9 resorts. I will love to take care of your baby before or after my shifts! My shifts are 6am-1pm or 1pm-7pm! I can guarantee you at least 3 visits a day with either shift, the times would just differ ! I provide loving, dependable in-home pet care to keep your pets happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. During each visit, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, take dogs out for potty breaks and walks, provide playtime, attention, and plenty of love, and clean up any accidents if needed. I follow your pet’s normal routine to help them feel relaxed. I can provide basic medications if instructed. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re part of my own family, giving you peace of mind while you’re at work, on vacation, or away from home.

“Alexandra has been wonderful with my dogs! She takes the time to make sure they are happy, gets plenty of exercise, fed on time, and was also kind enough to come meet the dogs before hand! She’s always on time, super reliable, and communicates really well with updates and photos after every walk/visit. It’s such a relief knowing my dogs were in caring and trustworthy hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a walker who treats your dog like their own.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
