“Diane was great and really took care of my dog Timber on his walk. She was very communicative and I felt very comfortable and knew I had nothing to worry about while I was at work - Thank You!”

About: I adopted my first dog when I was 9. I took on the responsibility of her care for the next 15 years that she was alive. I have cared for other dogs alongside her as well. My experience with them includes feeding, walks, cleaning cages and outdoor bathroom instances, administering medicine, brushing teeth, bathing, playing, and lots of cuddles! I’ve never been afraid to get my hands dirty and make it my point to respect the boundaries of any animal in my care. I’m lucky enough that I work from home currently, so I have plenty of time between meetings to feed, walk, and play with your pets! I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment for each pet I care for. In both my home and my client’s home, I follow their established routines for feeding, playtime, and rest to ensure the pet feels secure. During walks, I prioritize safety. I believe in the importance of using proper leashes, avoiding dangerous areas, and tailoring the walk to the dog’s energy level and needs. I also keep the dog’s space clean, offer plenty of affection and mental stimulation, and provide regular updates to the owner so they always feel informed!
“Ray has been walking our dog for more than a month now. She is very punctual, communicates very well and takes pictures. She takes care of him like her own. She cleans him up after the walk, gives him a treat and ensure he is pampered a bit. Our dog loves Ray.”

About: I love animals! I’ve been a dog mom for 13 years, I’ve fostered over 25 dogs, & have experience cat sitting as well. I’m based in Cranford and grew up in Westfield so very familiar with the area. Animals are my happy place and I love babying and caring for them. As such, I’d like to offer my services to keep your pets happy with cuddles, playtime, and/or exercise while you’re away from them. I have a genuine connection with animals & would love to help them feel less lonely while you’re away. In addition, I can provide a quick dog massage towards the end of my stay if you think your pet would enjoy it! I’ve experienced all different energy levels and weight up to 80 pounds. I provide excellent service through my communication, following direction, timeliness, and genuine care of animals. I’m available on weekends any time. On weekdays, I’m able to drop in 5:30pm and after during weekdays. If you’re close to me, I can drop by early morning and/or lunch time. From being a foster mom to homeless dogs, I’m very cognizant of the safety of animals. I know dogs especially can be easily spooked so I ensure that I have a firm grip on the leash with it wrapped once around my wrist. My dog is a strong pitbull so I feel comfortable handling most large strong dogs. While I’m caring for pets, I talk to them like they’re babies! I’m very much guilty of having a baby voice, but I feel the animals love and respond to it!
“I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Nicalina. She has been absolutely incredible with Winston. From the very beginning, she has been kind, patient, and so attentive to his needs. Winston absolutely adores her and his excitement when he sees her says everything! Not only is she extremely flexible and accommodating with scheduling, but she consistently goes above and beyond. Whether it’s taking extra time to make sure Winston is comfortable, sending updates for peace of mind, or simply giving him that extra love and attention, she treats him like her own. She has also done so much for me, also! It gives me so much comfort knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. We are so grateful to have found her, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone truly special to care for their dog. 🐶💛”

“Elaine has been amazing with our dog, Jax! He’s usually pretty shy, but he warmed up to her so quickly. It’s clear she really understands dogs and takes her time to make them feel comfortable. She’s reliable, kind, and clearly loves what she does. We’re so glad we found her!”

“Lisa is awesome! My Maggie loves her and she doesn’t just love anyone, lol. I have a crazy job and Lisa is always willing to work with me even on a short notice. I’m just so grateful.”

About: I have my own golden retriever, Rufus, who’s turning 10. He lives at my parents now that I moved into an apartment! Pet sitting comes second hand and brings me calmness.. it makes me feel like I’m with my own pup. I’ve never used a pet sitting site. The current families who will give their testimonies are families I once was a babysitter for.. but now all my babies are in college! I have 8 years hands on of pet sitting and over 15 in pet ownership! 🫶🏻 Update! 1 month on Rover and I’ve met so many furry friends!!! Excited to continue to meet more 😇 Update 2: I’m scaling back my schedule on Rover and am now looking to work exclusively with one long-term family for house sitting. After almost a year on Rover, I’ve really enjoyed building relationships and providing consistent, reliable care. I’m actively seeking a family that fits well with my schedule, as I have 4 families and am looking to add 1, so if you’re interested in a long-term, dependable arrangement, I’d love to chat further about how I can help meet your needs. Update 3: I am now back on Rover full-time and am looking for new clients that need help with dog walking/drop ins! Please check my availability and let’s chat if your needs match up! Thanks for considering, and I look forward to hearing from you! 🙂 Please let me know when your fur baby needs a potty break/meal/play time and I will be sure to 100% accommodate a time slot designated for them! Please let me know if any necessary precautions I must take while at your home, such as any gates or crates that must be used! Whenever your pup is off leash in your back yards I will also be with them outside supervising and playing :)
“Emily did an amazing job taking care of our dog and loving her as her own. She took the time to get to know our dog's needs and preferences, and communicated clearly and professionally. Thank you, Emily!”

About: I have worked intensively for 3 years in dog daycare with as many as 30 dogs in a room. Before that I’ve always been an avid dog owner and caretaker for as long as I can remember. I work mornings during the week, so I am available after 1:30 pm weekdays. I am very punctual and reliable, and deeply care for a dogs wellbeing! I prefer to care for pets in a client’s home, although I’m sure there can be some exceptions, although I don’t have a huge amount of space
About: My name is Christine and I've been working in pet care- dog walking, pet/house sitting and even dog grooming for 5+ years. I worked as a dog washer at In and Out Grooming in Garwood and am an avid dog walker. I've been a dog owner, and find pet care to be the most fulfilling job I've ever had. I love all breeds, and though I am small in stature I love walking big dogs! I can provide nail clippings and also don't mind doing some general house cleaning if I were to do house sitting and home visits. I have a very flexible schedule, outside of pet care I am pursuing a career in theater. Extremely flexible schedule! I have free daytime hours, while working on a theater schedule. Great for daytime walks and drop ins. Weekends available, don't hesitate to request! I have house sitting experience to keep your pets company while you're away! I've worked with many breeds and personalities of pet in the place they are most comfortable, happy to just spend time with them and adapt to their routines. I also don't mind doing some general house cleaning if I were to do house sitting and home visits.

About: My love for animals started early in life when I decided to rescue a kitten off the streets when I was 10 years old. I went on to rescue one more cat while living with my parents and after moving out was finally able to get a dog. In the last 20 years, I’ve owned and fostered numerous dogs of all kinds. I love being in the company of animals, something about their presence makes me feel whole. I’m currently working part-time, 15 hours a week. The schedule allows me to be freed up with a lot of availability to take care of your furry children. I will not be offering these services at this time. But in the future if this is offered, any and all dogs will be treated as if they were my own.
“Debra is fantastic. Our little guy is new to the family so she had to deal with us acclimating to him at the same time she did. She keeps me updated on his progress and how her visits go. We're happy to have someone checking on him who treats him like their own!”

About: Hi, I’m Matthew! I’ve always loved dogs and truly enjoy having them around as part of my daily routine. I work a partially remote schedule and am typically home by late morning or early afternoon, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day — not just stopping in quickly. I previously had a cockapoo who was part of my life for 15 wonderful years, and anyone who’s loved a dog that long knows how special that bond is. Since losing her, I’ve really missed having time with dogs, which is what led me to Rover. I started doing this to help owners who need reliable doggy day care, walks, or in-home sitting, while giving dogs the attention, structure, and care they deserve. I’m very detail-oriented, respectful of routines, and always follow feeding, walking, and care instructions closely. I’m home most of the day and can provide frequent potty breaks, consistent supervision, and regular photo updates, so you can feel confident knowing your dog is comfortable and well cared for. Whether your dog needs companionship during the day, regular walks, or a safe and calm place to stay, my goal is to make them feel at home — and to give you peace of mind while you’re away. With my current schedule, I’m available seven days a week to help with dog walking, doggy day care, and sitting. I work partially remote and am typically home by late morning or early afternoon, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, attention, and frequent potty breaks throughout the day. I care for every dog as if they were my own. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, walking instructions, and any special care needs. I make sure dogs feel comfortable, safe, and loved while maintaining structure and consistency. I’m respectful of both pets and homes, keep a clean and calm environment, and prioritize safety at all times. I also provide regular photo updates and communication so owners always know how their dog is doing.
About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and caretaker. I had a dog by my side for 16 wonderful years growing up, and now I’m the proud owner of a playful 5-year-old Labradoodle who keeps me active and always smiling! Whether your pup loves long walks, quick potty breaks, or just some extra company during the day, I’m here to help. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, and I treat every dog like my own—with care, patience, and lots of belly rubs. I’m flexible with scheduling and happy to work around your needs. Let me know how I can support you and your dog—I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I have a lot of flexibility in the summer as a teacher, which gives me availability during the day and on weekends. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I already walk and care for my own dog daily. Whether it’s mid-day walks, evening check-ins, or weekend stays, I’m happy to fit your pet’s needs into my schedule. I create a safe and calm environment where dogs can feel right at home. I follow any feeding, crate, or medication instructions you provide and always keep communication open for updates and peace of mind.

Gabriel was great! We needed support with a last minute walk and she was able to accommodate. Gracie had an accident due to excitement and Gabriel made sure to clean it up for us while also being really communicative. She sent us pictures on the walk and made sure to return all of Gracie’s things to their original place. Your pup is in great hands!

Nicalina is truly the best dog walker we could ask for! She’s incredibly communicative, reliable, and always keeps us updated, which gives us so much peace of mind. Most importantly, our dog absolutely loves her, you can tell how excited he gets whenever she arrives. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with, and that makes all the difference. We feel so lucky to have found her!

We needed a walker last minute and so glad we found Armin! He is communicative, punctual, and kind. He was immediately great with my Husky mix and has now become my go-to when we need a dog walker. He is very flexible, responds quickly, and provides detailed updates for every walk. Highly recommend!
