About: Hello - I'm Abbie. I have recently left the corporate world to pursue my graduate degree full time and reside in Cranford, NJ. I am a proud dog mom to one doggie - Kai - who absolutely adores other dogs. He uses Rover too when I am away! I have been taking care of animals since I could remember! Growing up in an animal lover household, I have had birds, turtles, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I got my first pet when I was 5 years old; a bunny named Chocolate. I am sadly away from my animals in my home. At my family home, I have a yorkie named Dexter and many silkie chickens; Dobby, Tori, and Sunshine just to name a few! Throughout my undergrad, I also lived with my roommate's Aussie named Asher whom I bathed, walked, and played lots of fetch with. I started house sitting when I was in high school for my neighbors and family-friends on vacations/weekends. I trained my dog Dexter on my own when I was 15 years old and am used to bringing him on daily walks! I am happy to walk, bathe, cuddle, and feed your pet along with any other services you would need. I have a strong love for all animals big and small and will treat them like my own (and so will Kai) Since I am a graduate student, my schedule is very fluid. I have classes in the evenings mostly and my weekends are quite free. Since I have a dog of my own, I am already up around 7-8AM for morning walks a food. I walk my dog at least 1 hour a day - one long walk during lunch time and another in the evening after dinner. I rent a home with an unfenced yard. I already take Kai on 2-3 walks a day. I will be able to walk your furry friend as well!

About: When I was 11 years old, I brought home a Collie named Lucy. She was a sweet girl, and our whole neighborhood helped feed and care for her. That’s when I truly fell in love with dogs. I would love to spend time with your pet and give them the same love, attention, and care. Your dog will be treated like family and surrounded by love and kindness. 🐾 I currently work part-time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pups. Starry and Gio were wonderful. This was our first time boarding our very energetic 8-month old puppy, so I was a bit nervous. Their regular communication and pictures helped me feel at ease. When my return flight was cancelled and I was delayed for several hours, they were very understanding. I would definitely recommend Starry and Gio.
So incredibly grateful to have found Meghan and Jason. We had a meet up prior to our booking dates and felt more than comfortable to have them take care of our baby Armin. A big plus is that they have one of the best dog parks their community, it’s huge! We received plenty of videos and pictures daily. Armin was even laying upside down in their care, which he only does when he’s extremely comfortable and we have yet to see that with any prior rover experiences. Armin easily gets diarrhea if he has any changes to his food or treats but Meghan and Jason did great with his regimen. We got him back with healthy poops lol. They even accommodated to drop him off at the end of our booking which we desperately needed. I can’t say enough good things about them and am excited to have found a future pet sitter with zero worries 🙂

Our sitter was absolutely amazing! We had so much unexpected chaos during our trip from our original sitter canceling, to our flight being rerouted to Cleveland because of a storm. Through all of it, she was incredibly patient, understanding, and flexible. She made a very stressful situation so much easier for us by taking such great care of our dog, Lola. She kept us updated with messages and pictures, which gave us peace of mind knowing Lola was happy and well cared for. Victor & Lessly are amazing! They are the perfect tag team couple to care for our pup. Our guy is a bit high maintenance with all his drops, medication, food, and FOMO for when we leave him for vacation. Victor & Lessly gave him extra attention and frequent recaps and photos to keep us at ease. We even landed late and had to pick him up the next morning in which they went out of their way to feed him a home cooked meal in which we failed to provide an extra. We highly recommend them and will be using them again!

Rosary was so great with our 5 year old dog, Allen. He’s a rescue and is hesitant with new people, but Rosary was extra gentle and loving with him. She even cooked him meals daily without me asking! I think our dog was actually sad to come home! We will definitely book again and highly recommend.
