About: I adopted my first dog when I was 9. I took on the responsibility of her care for the next 15 years that she was alive. I have cared for other dogs alongside her as well. My experience with them includes feeding, walks, cleaning cages and outdoor bathroom instances, administering medicine, brushing teeth, bathing, playing, and lots of cuddles! I’ve never been afraid to get my hands dirty and make it my point to respect the boundaries of any animal in my care. I’m lucky enough that I work from home currently, so I have plenty of time between meetings to feed, walk, and play with your pets! I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment for each pet I care for. In both my home and my client’s home, I follow their established routines for feeding, playtime, and rest to ensure the pet feels secure. During walks, I prioritize safety. I believe in the importance of using proper leashes, avoiding dangerous areas, and tailoring the walk to the dog’s energy level and needs. About: I grew up in a house with lots of pets, both cats and dogs. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to look in on and take care of their beloved pets since I was a teenager. I know what it means to love an animal as your own, and I promise to treat your fur baby or babies with the same love I show my own. I work full time, Monday to Friday, 9-5. I'm available to stop by before and after work, as well as midday (I work in downtown Westfield and can pop out on my lunch as I please). Weekends are generally pretty free. I always make sure they are fed and watered on time, according to their schedules. I make sure they have plenty of toys for solo play when I have to be away. Justice was amazing with Tini. He is usually so shy and rarely comes out to meet new people but he was out by the end of her first visit. Jessica did an amazing job accomplishing each of the tasks we left for her, caring for our three cats. She was highly professional when we first met her and she went above and beyond what we expected while we went on our weekend cruise. Having someone who takes the time to not only complete each of our necessary tasks for her during each session but also having someone take the time to show the cats attention while we are away was very heartwarming!
This is the second time Emily has petsit for my 2 cats. As always she was amazing. My first experience was back in February when I had to go on an extended work trip for 10 days. Emily was amazing and my 2 cats warmed right up to her. She took such great care of them. She went above and beyond even making it to take care of them during the blizzard. I cannot recommend Emily enough. She will love your pets like they are her own making sure their needs are met while giving lots of play time and cuddles. She even got my extremely timid cat to take her medicine twice a day- an amazing feat!! Her updates and communication were thorough and put me at ease while I was away. I highly recommend her to everyone in the area and will be booking her for my future pet sitting needs.
