“Ekaterina is really nice and was great with my kitties, even the one that usually hides from people! She made sure my baby boy got his meds and injection, sending pictures of each step to make sure there were no issues. Would definitely recommend booking her!”

“Claire was a great help in caring for my two cats during a time when I needed it. She was reliable and stayed in close contact with me, being sure to reach out if she had any questions. She did a nice job of attending to the needs of my kitties. I appreciated the help and will call on her again.”

“This was our first time leaving our energetic puppy with a sitter, and Justice made it a breeze. She was incredibly communicative, responding to all of our messages quickly and sending the cutest picture updates. When we came home, our dog was happy, tired out from play, and clearly bonded with her. Highly recommend her services!”

“Lisa is very caring and thoughtful. Our anxious senior rescue pup quickly warmed up to her and was excited for her visits. We look forward to having Lisa look after Lily again in the future!”

“Elaine did a great job with my dog . He was safe & comfortable. Put me at ease with communication and the notes & photos that she sent every visit. Thank you so much for taking care of my furbaby while I was away. Will book again if needed for future care.”

“Marlee was great! I really appreciated how thorough she was in discussing care before I left. Very friendly and personable and took time to befriend my cats even if they were being a little shy. She kept me updated in good detail and I felt very confident that my cats were in good hands while I was gone. I will definitely book her for future needs and would highly recommend her to anyone else as well!”

“Diane & Dave were great! Being a new cat mom, I was struggling to give Bianco the meds he needed. They helped me successfully give Bianco his medicine and they were so sweet with him. Thank you!!”

“This is the second time Emily has petsit for my 2 cats. As always she was amazing. My first experience was back in February when I had to go on an extended work trip for 10 days. Emily was amazing and my 2 cats warmed right up to her. She took such great care of them. She went above and beyond even making it to take care of them during the blizzard. I cannot recommend Emily enough. She will love your pets like they are her own making sure their needs are met while giving lots of play time and cuddles. She even got my extremely timid cat to take her medicine twice a day- an amazing feat!! Her updates and communication were thorough and put me at ease while I was away. I highly recommend her to everyone in the area and will be booking her for my future pet sitting needs.”

“Emily is amazing! She met my dog the day before his walk/feeding to help get acquainted with him and I showed her where all of his things are. Which I really appreciated. She texted me updates and confirmed details about the visit. She was so sweet and empathetic towards Mylo. I am thankful for her availability since my schedule is so busy. Overall 10/10. We are thankful to have her as our new dog walker :)”

“Jennifer is a amazing animal carer she was very patient and loving with my cats and they can be a handful as they been heavily spoiled. She communicated everything I needed to know about my boys and made me feel at ease. I would not hesitate to book her again.”

“Jillian was great taking care of our kitty Yoda. She kept us up to date with pictures each visit. She went the extra mile by keeping in touch with us while we were in Spain. We are so grateful.”

About: Hi, I’m Danielle! I’ve been the proud owner of a chocolate cockapoo, Hershey, for 11+ years now. Although I’m very familiar with mixed breeds as a result of owning one myself, I adore dogs of all breeds and sizes. I can’t wait to meet and play with your dog soon! I’m currently working at home with a flexible schedule. I’ve always been a dog-lover and hope to integrate more dog walking and pet sitting into my weekly routine. I’m very familiar with all sorts of pet care, from dog walking to pet sitting. I frequently take my own dog on long walks/hikes, to vet/grooming visits, and more!
About: I’ve been crazy about pets my whole life—raised with two dogs who taught me love and duty, now sharing my days with a feisty cat and keeping up with my family’s three silly pups. I’m here to pamper your furry friends: epic walks, tons of playtime, big cuddles, or just kicking back together. Cats? I’m their brushing and snuggle champ. Baths or meds? Show me how, and I’m all over it. I get a kick out of every pet’s little quirks! Note: my cat’s a lone wolf, so I can’t host at home. Drop me a line to chat about your pet—I’m pumped to give them the fun and care they’ll totally adore! Every morning of the week until 12h30, I can pass to walk and play with your animal. I can maybe be free during the weekend. We need to discuss first. I live for animals and their happiness, with a sharp eye for what they’re feeling. I pick up on stress signals and tweak my care to fit them perfectly, creating a peaceful vibe where they can just be themselves. Whether it’s a burst of play to lift their spirits or a quiet moment to ease their mind, I tune into their world and make it better.

“Jiajia was so helpful and patient. One of my cats takes medication every 12 hours. I stress when I am not personally there to administer the medicine.... Until Jiajia. Communications were an open line and I felt relieved that my kitties were in good hands. I would absolutely recommend her service.”

About: I have over seven years of pet care experience! I unfortunately do not have a dog of my own, due to allergies in my home but I have always loved animals and I’ve always wanted a dog! Because of this, the time that I get to spend with for babies is extra special, and I love on them extra hard! I consistently babysat a golden doodle throughout four years of high school. I also frequently babysit my boyfriend’s 2 golden retrievers, my best friend’s frenchie, my cousin’s labradoodle, my uncle’s 2 puppies and now my brother’s puppy! I am able to work from home, and stay with your sweet pup(s) all day long! My schedule is flexible to mend to your pet’s needs. I look forward to being a helping hand and being a caregiver for your pets! I am unavailable on Tuesdays for walks/stop ins. But every other day of the week, I am able to come check in on your pet multiple times a day and do overnight stays. I prioritize walks and play time to keep your pet healthy and happy! I am also able to take your pet out for rides and nature trails, if that is okay with you! I have worked in childcare for about 10 years and have had many background checks and have worked with all age groups. I believe myself to be incredibly trustworthy and caring. I am completely understanding that it could be a daunting thing to leave your sweet fur babies with a stranger, but I can assure you that they are in great hands with me! I am always willing to set up a meeting beforehand so you can get to know me!

5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely wonderful cat sitter! Justice went above and beyond to make sure Pablo was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Her attention to detail, communication, and experience with cats, gave me peace of mind while I was away. Justice provided picture and note updates at every visit! I came home to a happy cat and couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!

We have used Rover every summer to find a pet sitter for our dog Luna. Luna is a Lagotto Romagnolo. No, you've prob never seen one but they look like a doodle. They are a tough temperamental bread. Luna is especially tough because she learned that outside humans are bad.... Thanks COVID. Luna does not like anyone but me (she tolerates the rest of the family. Georgianna clearly has a gift with dogs! Every picture she sent us of Luna showed a happy and content pup. There were no accidents in the house for the entire 8 days away! When we came home, Luna was relaxed and happy. This is not to say that our other sitters weren't good, buy Georgianna is a pro! I am hoping she will be Luna's sitter for the rest of our lives!!!! 5 stars. HIGHLY recommend!
Debra was an absolute dream! She took such great care of my cat. She was attentive, courteous, and extremely kind, ensuring that my trip away from home was fun since I was reassured that Debra had everything in hand while I was out of town. I couldn’t be more pleased with her services, I would recommend her 1000% to anyone!

This was my first booking with Brittany for drop-in visits for my cats, and I will definitely be booking her again for future trips! I was very stressed leading up to the trip about finding care my them, but was immediately put at ease after talking to her. She took great care of my fur babies and had amazing communication. She picked up on their quirks so quickly and they loved her. Strongly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Garwood. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
