About: Hi, I'm Xiomara and currently live in the Chatham, NJ area. I'm a huge lover of pets and have had many growing up and continuing over the years into adulthood. I currently have one cat at home, who is almost 14 years old and at times help take care of my family's Shih Tzu. Our previous family dog had diabetes, so I have experience administering medication should that be necessary. I love dogs and cats, whether they are young or old equally, and you can trust your pet will get the best treatment from me. I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule, so I'll have time to play with your fur babies and am available any day you may need. My home is smoke free, one level and has just enough space for your pet to run around safely. My cat will also be around to keep them company.

About: I am a local college student available to care for your furry “baby”; providing love and care as you would while away.  I have experience caring for range of pet ages understanding the needs of younger pets (exercise, stimulation) as well as older pets (mobility, meds, etc.).  Either way I take my time and exercise patience in getting your dog comfortable and happy with me caring for them.  My goal is to be their “stand in pet parent” and care and love for them as they way you do.   I believe to do that it is important to gain trust and confidence with meeting beforehand if that works for you.  I hope to make your pet feel comfortable so that their stay or care with me will be an enjoyable one for them, and a reassuring one for you. I am a college student - where I work my schedule to be available for your pet’s needs. I have taken care of my dog of 15 years and understand being available with the different needs of a young puppy to a more older dog. I will provide attentive, loving care by following their routine, giving plenty of affection, exercise, and patience, while creating a calm, safe, and loving environment.

About: I have had dogs in my house for as long as I can remember (since I was four, to be exact) - I know how to deal with the barking, gently wrestle a leash onto the wriggliest of pups, feed them on schedule even when they beg for early dinner, and give them all the love they could possibly need. I have walked, fed, and cleaned up after my dogs for years, and I am so excited to get to do that for other pups too! I am a college student home from school and have extreme flexibility with my schedule. I have a car, so I can drive to your house to take care of your pooch as needed at almost any time between 8 am and 6 pm. The most important thing for me when taking care of pets is their comfort. As much as I love to cuddle our fur babies, if they don’t like physical touch I will give them their space. I am happy to play tug of war, fetch, and even let them chase me around outside (I understand needs change depending on the breed). I feed them as instructed and on schedule (having trained myself to resist even the cutest of puppy eyes begging for extra treats) and make sure they only get what their owners have left for them to have. I also love taking dogs on walks for exercise, both for their sake and my own!

About: I've had dogs all my life, the most recently i had a awesome miniature poodle who I was fortunate to love and care for 17 years, so I am familiar with the needs of senior dogs. My schedule is fairly open every day after about 9 or ten am. I'd like a regular opportunity, but one offs will be good as well I am available for pet sitting at the clients home, but due to younger kids I can accommodate pets at my home. Walking and feeding and playing is ideal

About: My family once had a Sheltie when I was a kid. Since then, I have taken care of many of my friend’s dogs and cats while they are out of town. I am very willing to walk, feed, bathe, play, and watch TV with your pets! Please let me know if there’s special needs for your pets and I will try my best to accommodate. I’m working from home everyday which means I can walk your dog anytime during the day and provide potty breaks in between 3 hours. I also live in a very active lifestyle. I live in a spacious one bedroom apartment with sunny windows. Inside my building, there’s a big lawn dog park with two unleash areas. There are also two public dog parks outside my building. The new-built Metropolitan Park is also just downstairs, two steps away. It is a very good and convenient place to walk your dog too.

About: Hi! My name is Kelly S., a current student at the University of Maryland, and I have a passion for helping others out. It does not matter to me if those "others" are considered animals or pets. I am very involved with many clubs and activities at the University of Maryland. At home though, I have cared for a golden retriever mix for 11 years and a terrier mix for 6 years(+ counting!) . I am capable of dividing my attention allowing both dogs to have fun and make games available for every dogs energy level. The best compliment I have ever received is that I am like a Golden Retriever. I am very loyal, energetic, and I am too big for a 20 lb puppy harness. I am a recently graduated physician assistant, waiting for hospital credentialing process, so I had ample time to play with fluffs! I have a golden retriever at home who is the sunshine of my day. I treat pets homes like it was my own. I want to make sure they feel comfortable with me entering their space. It's so important to meet and greet, build trust, and get to know dogs. I also prioritize safety in the hot summer months, making sure we do not spend too much time in the sun or on pavement.

About: I happened to work as Sales & Social Media Coordinater for a dog training school a few years back, and that experience changed my whole outlook on how we care for our pets! The dog trainers I created content for taught me about positive reinforcement and reward-based methods in the process. Since moving to a different field I’ve used those skills to handle, walk, and petsit every animal from bearded dragons to cats on the side in a way that’s fun for everyone involved. Animals are my happy place & I’d love to share that joy with your family! I work 9AM to 6:15PM most days, so I am the perfect candidate for your morning and evening walks as well as overnight stays! I can do afternoon Drop-Ins for Short Hills/Essex County residents as well. It’s also no problem for me to house-sit and care for your home as gently as your pets!
