About: Over the past few years I've built hands-on experience caring for dogs in multiple settings. I spent two summers at Camp Bow Wow, where I supervised playgroups of up to 25 dogs and handled daily care tasks such as feeding, administering medications, cleaning play yards and giving baths. I have also volunteered at many animal shelters where I walked dogs, fed them, cleaned kennels and assisted with training playdates. Additionally, through my sorority I support the Boulder Guide Dogs for the Blind by fundraising, baking treats, puppy-sitting, and socialising puppies to teach them good manners and prepare them for formal training. As a college student, my class schedule is flexible (giving me plenty of free time throughout the day to walk, play with, and care for your dog!) I am super easy to reach via the Rover app or text, and last minute bookings are no problem. I am open to midday walks, evening check-ins or an overnight stay on short notice, and can adjust my schedule to meet your needs! I miss my own dog back home so much, so caring for your pet isn't just a job, it's a way to fill that gap. I treat every dog as if they're my own, ensuring plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. My experience caring for my dog (as well as 2 dogs and many foster dogs before her) have taught me to be patient, responsible and attentive to every dog's unique needs.

About: I've been caring for small pets such as, Hamsters, Guinea-pigs and Fish (from goldfish, etc. to Oscars,etc.) from a very young age. Therein, for example, when I was still a little girl, my friend and neighbor could no longer care for their beloved, hamster, Andy; who did they think of... me ! So, Andy, the hamster was adopted and added to the fold. Next, Cats and Dogs. When my neighbor found a stray cat had given birth in their shed closet, again, who did they call?! I adopted one of the 3 kittens; adopting their sibling from the same liter soon after the first adoptee, was unable to care for it. I began caring for Angel and Geisha, my first two cats. Last but not least, Dogs... Cream was a white Pittie, whose owner, again, became unable to care for her so she lived with me and my 2 year old daughter at the time, and they loved each other dearly. After, finding Cream a permanent home, I had the honor of caring for other dogs for friends and neighbors even the homeless, from which I cared for Lulu, a pittie, living with her owner on the street. However, she received a healthy diet, vet care and patience, training to reverse some of the habits she developed living on the street. Now, although, I've cared for others such as Bamboo, the Pitbull, that seemed to take care of himself, lol and Karma, who needed a foster during the Covid pandemic; I'm entrusted with the care of my Pittie/German-Sheppard Gran-pet baby, Nasir aka Nas, while my daughter's in college. Nice enough, I still get to switch it up and care for the Cats (and small pets) of various friends and neighbors in my community. With that, I try o create a Pet-care Staycation like atmosphere when boarding or Home care while pet-parents are away and a Family like atmosphere for Fosters. I look forward to meeting your furry friends and four legged family members :) Pet care is not only therapeutic, it fits into my schedule perfectly, since I am a semi-retired administrative professional who suffered an untimely stroke at a young age. However. after an almost miraculous recovery, I'd like to move forward in a direction that nurtures my empathetic personality. Therein, leaving the desk behind, affording me with a more active lifestyle, all year round. As to that, my days generally consist of assisting my daughter with her dog, exercise, personal errands and volunteering a few hours a week. Although, I take pet care jobs occasionally, I'd like to "officially"extend my services to do something I love (I believe I'm good at it.) and rewarding because the pets (my clients) always seem to appreciate it. I have a fenced in yard and super friendly and silly, one year old fur gran-baby that would be happy to show a visiting canine "the ropes", lol. I can also crate and/or crate train your dog(s), when necessary. They will always have access to clean water; be walked consistently and fed on time and kept in a clean an organized space, whether at your home or mine. I make sure to follow pet parents care instructions. I send photos or video of fun moments to give insight as to how your pets are doing and cared for. I play, pet and communicate with each pet in their way to build trust, friendship and joy while their pet parents are away. In addition, I have had some dog training in the recent past and will have more dog training in the near future to help me care for our hairy pals compassionately and efficiently. About: I have been taking care and pet sitting all kinds of pets and animals since I was 16 years old. I have worked in dog daycares and boarding facilities for around 3 years. I have been trained in dog behavior, temperament, and care. I have a lot of experience with providing dogs and other pets with the proper care they deserve. About: I've had dogs all my life, the most recently i had a awesome miniature poodle who I was fortunate to love and care for 17 years, so I am familiar with the needs of senior dogs. My schedule is fairly open every day after about 9 or ten am. I'd like a regular opportunity, but one offs will be good as well I am available for pet sitting at the clients home, but due to younger kids I can accommodate pets at my home. Walking and feeding and playing is ideal

About: I had a Yorkshire Terrier who lived for almost 16 years. After he passed away, I found a small puppy on the street. I took care of him and eventually couldn’t give him away. Now Lucky—that’s his name—is 4 years old and weighs 70 lbs. I’m very comfortable with dogs and have a good understanding of their behavior and what they need. You could say I have over 20 years of experience with dogs, and if you count cats, even more. If your dog loves to run, I can take him to a park with unpaved trails (I can explain why I prefer unpaved trails) and ride alongside him on my bicycle. I have a protective dogs cover for the back seat of my car and a leash that can be attached to a bicycle. For a dog’s safety when running alongside a bicycle, a harness is much better than a collar. I can provide a size L harness. I just need to know about this type of walk ahead of time because I don’t carry my bicycle with me all the time. You can’t imagine how happy my Lucky is when he gets to run alongside me! I always ride at a speed that is comfortable for him. I also periodically donate money to people who rescue and care for orphaned and homeless dogs. I am between jobs. I left one company and seeking for a job. Meanwhile my good friend who is working in this platform advised me to take care of other peoples’ dogs. She said: “Why meanwhile don’t you help others with their dogs, when you understand them so well”. So I am here. First I sit at the floor next to the dog. When my eyes are almost at the same level as dogs eyes, they fill no aggression from the stranger. When dog gets used to me and my presence does not disturb, I start playing with him/her (cannot call them ‘it’). I fed orphan and homeless dogs before and have approach to them. Once I was saving for 5 hours (I am not kidding) a homeless dog who fell to water drainage and couldn’t come out.

About: Hi, I'm Xiomara and currently live in the Chatham, NJ area. I'm a huge lover of pets and have had many growing up and continuing over the years into adulthood. I currently have one cat at home, who is almost 14 years old and at times help take care of my family's Shih Tzu. Our previous family dog had diabetes, so I have experience administering medication should that be necessary. I love dogs and cats, whether they are young or old equally, and you can trust your pet will get the best treatment from me. I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule, so I'll have time to play with your fur babies and am available any day you may need. My home is smoke free, one level and has just enough space for your pet to run around safely. My cat will also be around to keep them company.
