“Hadija is a pleasure to work with! She was willing to adapt to our pup's needs and work with his personality! I really recommended her to take care of your pet.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 4 years old, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. Beyond my personal experience, I’ve also worked at multiple pet shelters in both New Jersey and Arizona, where I cared for animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a shy senior dog, I know how to create a calm, loving, and safe environment. I treat every pet like family and always go the extra mile to make sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. I’m currently home from Arizona State University and have a very open and flexible schedule. Whether your pet needs early morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight care, I’m available and ready to help. I can easily accommodate last-minute requests and am committed to giving your pet consistent attention and care throughout the day. I prioritize safety by following each pet’s routine and needs closely, whether in my home or yours. I keep a calm, clean, and secure environment and always communicate clearly with pet parents. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priorities, and I treat every home with respect and care.

“Cristian was right on time and super attentive to the dog's needs! He is really flexible with his schedule and you can tell is really caring. Will be booking again!”

“Talia is reliable & consistent. She arrived on time & was able to communicate with my dog right away. There were no issues. Would definitely use her again. Thank you!!!”

“Dulce came through for us on short notice, walking and feeding our two mini poodles with care and attention. Our pups were excited to see her again, as she previously took great care of them during our family vacation in March. We highly recommend Dulce for both daily walks and overnight stays. She's reliable, kind, and clearly loves what she does.”

About: Hello, thank you for clicking on my profile! I'm an animal lover who doesn't have pets at home but is open to help care for pets. I work from home so I have plenty of time to help care for your fur baby as well as a pet park in my apartment complex. I take one client at a home so you can assured that your fur baby be taken care of. My apartment complex is a gated community so there's a safe environment to walk dogs without the fear of cars or other people. Additionally, I love cats and am always at home so your cat will have fun and be attended to during the day or night. I currently work from home Monday - Friday, with the rare exceptions so I have plenty of time for dog walks or any needs your pet will need. I also live near dog friendly parks as well to take them on more nature based walks. I have plenty of time to take care of your babies! I can also drive to give walks during the morning time or afternoon time to take some load off your shoulders. I have a clean apartment in an apartment complex that has a dog park and plenty of room for your pet to play. I live with my family (my parents and my sister) who are also pet lovers, my family are all adults so no need to worry about kids.

About: I have either owned or taken care of dogs since I was very young. I began dog sitting around 10 years ago. I can come to your home or do in home visits. I have taken care of dogs of all sizes from Cane Corsos to Bassett Hounds and many more. I currently work part time as a crossing guard in my community. That gives me a lot of extra time especially in the summer to care for my animals as well as others. I have a separate room for cats to stay in that has a screen door. They can see out but not get out as well as my cats can see in but not get in.

“We had a great experience with shauntia! my dogs took to her right away when meeting her, so I knew it was going to be a good fit! Shauntia was punctual, communicative, and great with the pups! I definitely felt like I could trust her! Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Tracy came by to walk my mini-poodle and went above and beyond. She came at the time she promised, checked in with me when Zoe slipped in some "mud" (narrator: it wasn't mud), and cleaned her up in the tub when they got home. Thanks, Tracy!”

“Nicole did a great job with my dog and would definately use her again!”

“Trisha is absolutely wonderful! My 3 dogs (a pit bull, Ridgeback and chihuahua) loved her instantly. I never had someone else care for my dogs as long as I've had them so I was a bit nervous but Trisha made me feel so comfortable. I work 12 hour days and my husband left the country for a month and I would have been lost without her! 5 days a week at noon and she was always in time and sent photos! She took the time to give one of my dogs (who had to be put to sleep that month) so much extra love and attention because I couldn't be there. I thought I had to make the decision alone but she was there to help me through it, comfort me and check up on me. She goes above and beyond for her clients and their babies. She's the best!”

About: Hello and welcome! My name is Chelsea and I have an extensive background in doggy daycare services and volunteer shelter support! My qualifications extend to fur babies of the dog and cat variety. You can count on my calm demeanor translating to animals with anxiety concerns & medication needs. I look forward to speaking with you regarding how I can fufill your caretaking needs! Please see calendar for updates. Afternoons and weekends are my main availability, but I do have some time off where my schedule is more open. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on creating a calm and familiar environment to keep them happy and stress-free. I maintain their regular feeding schedule, ensure fresh water is always available, and take care of any medication needs with careful attention. I love engaging pets with playtime, walks, and plenty of affection—always respecting each pet's unique personality and comfort level. I also keep their living space tidy, clean up litter boxes or backyard areas, and provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you're away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and right at home until you return.

About: I've been caring for small pets such as, Hamsters, Guinea-pigs and Fish (from goldfish, etc. to Oscars, etc.) from a very young age. Therein, for example, when I was still a little girl, my friend and neighbor could no longer care for their beloved, hamster, Andy; who did they think of... me ! So, Andy, the hamster was adopted and added to the fold. Next, Cats and Dogs. When my neighbor found a stray cat had given birth in their shed closet, again, who did they call?! I adopted one of the 3 kittens; adopting their sibling from the same liter soon after the first adoptee, was unable to care for it. I began caring for Angel and Geisha, my first two cats. Last but not least, Dogs... Cream was a white Pittie, whose owner, again, became unable to care for her so she lived with me and my 2 year old daughter at the time, and they loved each other dearly. After, finding Cream a permanent home, I had the honor of caring for other dogs for friends and neighbors even the homeless, from which I cared for Lulu, a pittie, living with her owner on the street. However, she received a healthy diet, vet care and patience, training to reverse some of the habits she developed living on the street. Now, although, I've cared for others such as Bamboo, the Pitbull, that seemed to take care of himself, lol and Karma, who needed a foster during the Covid pandemic; I'm entrusted with the care of my Pittie/German-Sheppard Gran-pet baby, Nasir aka Nas, while my daughter's in college. Nice enough, I still get to switch it up and care for the Cats (and small pets) of various friends and neighbors in my community. With that, I try o create a Pet-care Staycation like atmosphere when boarding or Home care while pet-parents are away and a Family like atmosphere for Fosters. I look forward to meeting your furry friends and four legged family members :) Pet care is not only therapeutic, it fits into my schedule perfectly, since I am a semi-retired administrative professional who suffered an untimely stroke at a young age. However. after an almost miraculous recovery, I'd like to move forward in a direction that nurtures my empathetic personality. Therein, leaving the desk behind, affording me with a more active lifestyle, all year round. As to that, my days generally consist of assisting my daughter with her dog, exercise, personal errands and volunteering a few hours a week. Although, I take pet care jobs occasionally, I'd like to "officially"extend my services to do something I love (I believe I'm good at it.) and rewarding because the pets (my clients) always seem to appreciate it. I have a fenced in yard and super friendly and silly, one year old fur gran-baby that would be happy to show a visiting canine "the ropes", lol. I can also crate and/or crate train your dog(s), when necessary. They will always have access to clean water; be walked consistently and fed on time and kept in a clean an organized space, whether at your home or mine. I make sure to follow pet parents care instructions. I send photos or video of fun moments to give insight as to how your pets are doing and cared for. I play, pet and communicate with each pet in their way to build trust, friendship and joy while their pet parents are away. In addition, I have had some dog training in the recent past and will have more dog training in the near future to help me care for our hairy pals compassionately and efficiently. [NOTE to Drop-in Clients: Please understand, Safety is a concern for Everyone; pet care givers, pet parents and pets. I work on a basis of professional Trust between all parties, including the pet party. All I can offer are my Referrals, my Word as a trusted professional and a background check conducted by Rover. I expect the same appropriate professionalism, trustworthiness and mutual respect from those who accept my Services. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.] I look forward to working with you. ;-)

About: I have been an avid animal lover since I received my first puppy as a child. I taught my beloved spaniel how to sit and lay down, and he taught me patience and responsibility. I cared for him until he sadly left us at 17 years old. My experience taught me that our fur babies are here for such a short time, and they deserve the absolute best we can give them. I have extended this mindset into my care of several other pets throughout my life including my four cats and bonus fur babies that I pet sit. My current clients range from small to large breed dogs. I have gained extensive experience with senior pets and the special needs that come with them as well as pets with medical needs. As a college student working part time, I hope to expand my business and do what I love full time. I currently work 9-5 part-time, leaving me with plenty of free time including weekends. I am flexible in my schedule and availability, and always strive to provide pets in my care with as much attention and care as they would receive in their homes. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of indoor space. I have four friendly cats of my own but available space to keep pets in my care separate in the case that they are less then enthusiastic about cats. I offer in house pet sitting as well to those who prefer their fur babies to remain in their own environment. I have a valid NJ Driver's license and a reliable vehicle large enough to transport big breeds. Additionally I have plenty of experience administering medications and treatments safely.

About: I have had experience as a pet owner myself for 10+ years. My first dog, Max was part of my family for almost 11 years. I would walk, feed, bathe and play with my baby everyday. He crossed the rainbow bridge in June. I also have some dog sitting experience with some of my family members’ pets while they go on vacation. I would also feed and walk my family’s pets as often as they requested! I also have experience walking and taking care of my sister’s cat! I’m currently working full-time at a school! So I am free after 3 PM weekdays. I am available in the mornings and afternoons on the weekends. When I had my dog, Max, I would make sure all doors/gates or closed or locked if needed. I would do the same for my clients. And I would give your fur baby/babies all the love and attention they deserve and need! ❤️

“Maria shows a great deal of compassion and attention for pets in an effortless way. She is kind and loving and pets love her. She is very diligent and careful when it comes to following particular rules. As someone that’s known for her a very long time, I can say she has always shown a warm love and gravitation for animals and they seem to be very comfortable around her as well. She would be a great fit for any job that involves caretaking any pets.”

Courtney F.
“I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Courtney Fernandino as a pet sitter. For the past five years, Courtney has been caring for our pit bull, Queenie, and we could not be more grateful for the dedication and compassion she has consistently shown. Queenie is a very challenging dog—highly reactive to other dogs and requiring both firm discipline and genuine affection. Finding someone who could meet those needs was no easy task. Courtney not only met them, she exceeded our expectations. Her ability to build trust with Queenie and handle her with both care and confidence is truly remarkable. Courtney has stayed in our home for extended periods while we were away, and she has always treated our space with the utmost respect. She feeds, walks, and tends to Queenie with such attentiveness that our dog genuinely adores her. It is rare to find someone as dependable, responsible, and skilled with animals as Courtney. We have relied on her for years and have complete peace of mind whenever she is caring for Queenie. I recommend Courtney without hesitation. Any pet would be lucky to be in her care.”
