About: What sets me apart is that I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy caring for animals. I have experience with responsibility heavy roles like nannying, which has taught me how important routines, communication, and trust are when caring for someone else’s loved ones. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all personalities and energy levels, including pets who need extra patience, structure, or calm handling. I’m also attentive to feeding schedules, walking routines, crate training support, and keeping pets engaged through play and exercise. I make it a priority to follow instructions carefully and keep owners updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Whether your pet needs active walks, gentle companionship, or consistent care while you’re away, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like they’re my own. I am flexible and open to both weekday and weekend bookings. I prefer morning and afternoon visits/walks, but I can accommodate evening care depending on the request. I’m currently a recent graduate from Montclair State University and am working toward my master’s degree at Rutgers in nutrition, so my schedule may vary slightly depending on school and coursework. However, I’m committed to being reliable, consistent, and communicative once a booking is confirmed. I’m available for: Morning check-ins and walks Midday visits Afternoon care Occasional evening bookings I do my best to respond quickly and accommodate last-minute requests when possible. I prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walk times, litter box care, and any special needs or medications. In the client’s home, I am respectful of the space and keep everything clean and organized. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while also respecting their personality whether they are energetic and playful or prefer a calm and quiet environment. For dogs, I focus on safe walks, positive interaction, and structured care based on their energy level and routine. For cats, I understand the importance of space and consistency, and I always allow them to approach on their own terms to build trust. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured and connected while they are away. My goal is always to care for each pet as if they were my own.

About: I've had dogs all my life, the most recently i had a awesome miniature poodle who I was fortunate to love and care for 17 years, so I am familiar with the needs of senior dogs. My schedule is fairly open every day after about 9 or ten am. I'd like a regular opportunity, but one offs will be good as well I am available for pet sitting at the clients home, but due to younger kids I can accommodate pets at my home. Walking and feeding and playing is ideal

About: I am a local college student available to care for your furry “baby”; providing love and care as you would while away.  I have experience caring for range of pet ages understanding the needs of younger pets (exercise, stimulation) as well as older pets (mobility, meds, etc.).  Either way I take my time and exercise patience in getting your dog comfortable and happy with me caring for them.  My goal is to be their “stand in pet parent” and care and love for them as they way you do.   I believe to do that it is important to gain trust and confidence with meeting beforehand if that works for you.  I hope to make your pet feel comfortable so that their stay or care with me will be an enjoyable one for them, and a reassuring one for you. I am a college student - where I work my schedule to be available for your pet’s needs. I have taken care of my dog of 15 years and understand being available with the different needs of a young puppy to a more older dog. I will provide attentive, loving care by following their routine, giving plenty of affection, exercise, and patience, while creating a calm, safe, and loving environment.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 10+ years! I love spending time with all animals so petsitting is like a vacation for me. I am a full time lab technician and have flexible hours to watch over any furbabies :) I have a full time job that is very flexible with my hours. I am very detail oriented, punctual, and patient. I am free outside of work and would love to occupy my time, whenever need be, to help someone else who needs help watching their dog or cat! My biggest worry is not letting your furbabies run loose! I always check my surroundings before entering a home and be cautious so that no animal runs out or gets hurt in the process. While taking care of pets it is easy to let them run wild and have fun, but we can also do so without making the home messy! I will treat anyones dog or cat as my own, as well as make sure that I leave a home the way it was when coming in.

About: Hi there! My name is Diana, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around animals—long before I was even born, my family always had pets. From cats and dogs to farm animals like chickens, cows, and pigs, I was raised surrounded by animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Being around them taught me early on how special the bond between people and their pets can be. When my family relocated to New Jersey when I was 7 years old, we adopted a sweet beagle named Sparky. He was a beloved member of our family for 15 wonderful years before he passed away from old age. Caring for Sparky throughout his life showed me how much love, patience, and attention pets deserve at every stage of their lives. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! Please feel free to reach out with any questions—I look forward to helping care for your furry family member. I’m reliable, dependable, and attentive to detail. I’m currently taking a gap semester from my master’s program, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the week for house sitting, drop-ins, and walks, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s specific needs and schedule. Since my family and I foster cats, we work hard to maintain a calm and consistent routine for them while they adjust to our home. For that reason, I’m unfortunately unable to board pets in my home. However, I’m more than happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home through drop-in visits, where they can stay relaxed in their familiar environment.

About: I have experience walking dogs as a side hustle for over three years, and I have cats of my own. I also volunteered at a pet shelter, so I’m able to meet all types of animals’ needs. I’m happy to assist those in the area! As a remote intern, I have plenty of time throughout the day to spend time with your pets, without rushing walks or visits. I have flexible hours to be there when needed! Certain animals can behave differently when their owners are away from home, so it’s important to go above and beyond to show them love! I have cleaned many stress-related accidents for them and are attentive to their needs. I always try to play fetch with them if they’re interested!

About: Hi, I'm Xiomara and currently live in the Chatham, NJ area. I'm a huge lover of pets and have had many growing up and continuing over the years into adulthood. I currently have one cat at home, who is almost 14 years old and at times help take care of my family's Shih Tzu. Our previous family dog had diabetes, so I have experience administering medication should that be necessary. I love dogs and cats, whether they are young or old equally, and you can trust your pet will get the best treatment from me. I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule, so I'll have time to play with your fur babies and am available any day you may need. My home is smoke free, one level and has just enough space for your pet to run around safely. My cat will also be around to keep them company.

About: My family once had a Sheltie when I was a kid. Since then, I have taken care of many of my friend’s dogs and cats while they are out of town. I am very willing to walk, feed, bathe, play, and watch TV with your pets! Please let me know if there’s special needs for your pets and I will try my best to accommodate. I’m working from home everyday which means I can walk your dog anytime during the day and provide potty breaks in between 3 hours. I also live in a very active lifestyle. I live in a spacious one bedroom apartment with sunny windows. Inside my building, there’s a big lawn dog park with two unleash areas. There are also two public dog parks outside my building. The new-built Metropolitan Park is also just downstairs, two steps away. It is a very good and convenient place to walk your dog too.

About: I have had dogs in my house for as long as I can remember (since I was four, to be exact) - I know how to deal with the barking, gently wrestle a leash onto the wriggliest of pups, feed them on schedule even when they beg for early dinner, and give them all the love they could possibly need. I have walked, fed, and cleaned up after my dogs for years, and I am so excited to get to do that for other pups too! I am a college student home from school and have extreme flexibility with my schedule. I have a car, so I can drive to your house to take care of your pooch as needed at almost any time between 8 am and 6 pm. The most important thing for me when taking care of pets is their comfort. As much as I love to cuddle our fur babies, if they don’t like physical touch I will give them their space. I am happy to play tug of war, fetch, and even let them chase me around outside (I understand needs change depending on the breed). I feed them as instructed and on schedule (having trained myself to resist even the cutest of puppy eyes begging for extra treats) and make sure they only get what their owners have left for them to have. I also love taking dogs on walks for exercise, both for their sake and my own!

This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t be happier! Ryan was amazing with my dogs. He was super friendly, punctual, and kept me updated with photos and notes from the walk. Hershey and Bella came back happy and tired, which is always a good sign! It really put my mind at ease knowing my pup was in good hands. I’ll definitely be booking again. Thank you for making our first Rover experience such a positive one!
