About: I work from home 5 days a week which will allow your dog to get constant attention and love. Having cared for my own dog I understand how difficult it is to leave with someone else. I currently work from home 5 days a week and will be able to attend to your dogs needs. I can take them out for plenty of potty breaks. Since I work from home your dog will get plenty of attention. I live in a very dog friendly community that is great for walks. I will always keep your dog on a secure leash whenever outdoors.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience with a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I grew up in a home with Rottweilers, which taught me early on the importance of proper care, structure, and lots of love. Over the years, I’ve lived with rescue dogs and have also fostered dogs in the past, gaining experience helping dogs adjust to new environments and routines. Currently, I live in a home with a rescue St. Bernard and a Bernese Mountain Dog. While they aren’t my own dogs, I spend a large amount of my time caring for them, giving them plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I’m very comfortable with large breeds as well as dogs who may need extra patience and understanding. I’ve worked with many breeds and mixes, including Rottweilers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, French Bulldogs, St. Bernard, Labs, Doodle mixes, Pomeranians, Boxers, and a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I understand that every dog is unique, and I always aim to provide care that meets each dog’s individual needs while making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. I work part time as a yoga teacher and 3 days a week in a hospital setting. This allows me to have a flexible schedule on Mondays, Wednesdays, and weekend (when I am not at the hospital) for daytime visits to take your pets out on walks, stop in for potty breaks or afternoon lunch/snacks. I currently do not have any pets of my own which makes overnight stays to care for your pets easy. I will come to your home for to care for your pet and offer them the services you wish to have for them. Whether that be overnight stays, daytime dog walks, offering meals, or even just some outdoor playtime in your backyard.
“Wow!! What a loving, responsible and caring gal. Caleigh is the best cat sitter I've ever have. I plan on becoming a repeat customer. Every visit she takes videos and around 15 pictures which makes me feel so good. Absolutely, hands down, the BEST. Thank you so much Caleigh.”

About: I have been taking care of and pet sitting animals, whether it be my own, my family’s or friends basically my whole life. More recently, I have been involved with The Seeing Eye since 2018, as a puppy sitter as well as a volunteer Puppy Raiser, and I have been bathing and grooming dogs professionally since early 2021, working with little puppies for their first grooms all the way up to senior dogs who need a little more love and patience during the grooming process. I have several years of experience working with puppies on basic obedience, and potty training. In addition, I have a 6 year old german shepherd who I have raised and trained myself who I love with my whole heart. I currently work 5 days a week as a groomer, however my schedule can be flexible. I am available most nights after 6 pm and all day Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I do not pet sit in my own home, as I live in a small apartment. However, I would be more than happy to stay over a clients home if needed!
“Jessica was great to work with. Before we booked her, she came by to meet our pups, which immediately put our minds at ease. She communicated well throughout her visits and sent pictures, which we really appreciated. Knowing our dogs were happy and well cared for made being away so much easier. We would definitely recommend her and look forward to working with her again.”

About: Over the past few years I've built hands-on experience caring for dogs in multiple settings. I spent two summers at Camp Bow Wow, where I supervised playgroups of up to 25 dogs and handled daily care tasks such as feeding, administering medications, cleaning play yards and giving baths. I have also volunteered at many animal shelters where I walked dogs, fed them, cleaned kennels and assisted with training playdates. Additionally, through my sorority I support the Boulder Guide Dogs for the Blind by fundraising, baking treats, puppy-sitting, and socialising puppies to teach them good manners and prepare them for formal training. As a college student, my class schedule is flexible (giving me plenty of free time throughout the day to walk, play with, and care for your dog!) I am super easy to reach via the Rover app or text, and last minute bookings are no problem. I am open to midday walks, evening check-ins or an overnight stay on short notice, and can adjust my schedule to meet your needs! I miss my own dog back home so much, so caring for your pet isn't just a job, it's a way to fill that gap. I treat every dog as if they're my own, ensuring plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. My experience caring for my dog (as well as 2 dogs and many foster dogs before her) have taught me to be patient, responsible and attentive to every dog's unique needs.
“Richie is great. I have booked his services a couple of times to visit our home to take care of our dog Pepper. Richie is reliable, and stays in communication by sending me photos and texts on each visit. Ensured Pepper was fed, had plenty of water, gave treats, and allergy medication. It gives us peace of mind that Pepper is well taken care of while we are away. Also, Richie brought in our mail and packages. If you're looking for someone to care for your furry family member, consider Richie.”

“Excellent pet sitter! They visited my home three times a day for 9 days and took great care of my dog. They were reliable, caring, and kept me updated throughout my trip. I had complete peace of mind and would definitely book with them again. Highly recommend!”

“Jordyn is great with our cat and dog! Jordyn has been helping out with our dog for the past couple of months and was eager to help with our cat while we were traveling as well. She is always communicative and kind!”

About: I rescued my black lab 10 years ago on my own, and have groomed in and assisted in veterinary hospitals in the past. I grew up with a dog and cats and love most all animals. I used to be a veterinary assistant for a few years before covid, and I have good friends who work in veterinary medicine as doctors! I love to learn as much as I can in that field as well. I am fully available to care and love your animals- The sooner you book me for house sittings- all the better!! I will regularly take the animals outside, give them treats, cuddle on the couch together (if they’re allowed on furniture) and feed them as needed I am happy to provide as much care and service to you and your pets as often as you need it, and whenever I am physically able to be there to care for them for you! For house sittings, I give the the houses with fenced in backyards both your pets and myself to stay outdoors with one another for a longer period of time in a safer environment to get to know one another, especially during first time visits. I love to lounge around the house and get to know your fur babies, especially during my first few times of interacting with them, just to establish care and trust during this time.

About: I have lived around dogs and cats my entire life since I was a young kid with my family. I love all dogs and cats equally and treat them as if they are my own child. I currently have one kitten that I adopted from a rescue, she is four months old and super friendly and playful. I would love to babysit, walk or check in on any dog or cat that is in need. I am currently working from home due to the pandemic so I can give 24/7 attention to any pet at any day or time. I love working out on a daily basis so dog walking would be an absolute pleasure! I live near a nice waterfront park which would be great for walks. I’m currently working from home due to the pandemic so I have plenty of time to care for your pets and show them the love and affection they deserve! I am very active so I love playing with dogs and cats to keep them busy and keep them moving. It tires them out so they sleep well through the night
About: I've had pets my entire life! Have my own golden lab mix whose a retired service dog now have fostered many pets via the Seattle Animal Shelter program - week old puppies to 90+ pound dogs! I’ve stayed at many clients' homes before and love to spend time with all pets! I think it’s amazing to keep pets in their safe environments and give them all the love. I personally like to be mindful of their routines, their unique personalities and quirks, and overall cater to them.
About: Ever since I was born, there has been a dog in my life. I’ve lived with a dog in my home for over 25 years and have experience caring for them at all life stages- from the puppy to senior years. I live with my wife, son, and our 4 year old golden retriever, Beau. Beau is a true golden retriever, super easy-going and loves all dogs he meets. We have a comfortable, dog friendly home where the dogs are welcome to relax on the couches, beds, wherever they are comfy. We also have a large fenced in yard in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood that suits our twice daily walks. We treat our dog like a member of the family and love to bring him with us wherever we can- breweries, farmers market, vacations, you name it. We will treat your dog as one of our own as well. Last year, I kickstarted a weekend morning dog walk at a local park with friends, that my dog looks forward to weekly. My family and I have also regularly dogsat for friends of ours as favors. My wife and I both work a hybrid schedule and are home Fridays-Mondays to support boarding your dog over long weekends. We always prioritize our dog’s needs and the needs of any dog we are watching by being home often, providing lots of attention, play, and long morning and evening walks. We have a large, securely fenced in yard and have our 4 year old golden retriever, who is extremely friendly, laid-back, and great with other dogs. We have not crated him since the puppy years, but can crate your dog if requested. Our home (and furniture) is dog friendly.

Paul was absolutely wonderful with Beau. You can tell immediately that he genuinely loves animals and treats them like his own. He was communicative, reliable, kind, and made me feel completely comfortable leaving my puppy in his care. Beau adored him, and I could tell he was well cared for and happy when I got home. I would recommend him to anyone… although part of me wants to keep him a secret for myself 😂 Thank you again, Paul!

Sheila was a life saver for me when I needed to find someone to check on my dogs during the day while at the office. Keanu and Wiley don’t like just anyone but they liked her immediately. Sheila was shrewd enough to ask me if she had to worry about either of the dogs escaping when she comes in, and she was right to ask because my girl Wiley will sometimes be in the mood for a freedom run achieved by escaping between someone’s legs if they hangout with the door open too long! Very professional, great to work with

Jessi was a fantastic drop-in sitter for Maui! Very professional and reliable, and always sent great updates after every visit. I loved knowing exactly how things went each time — it gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I’d absolutely book with him again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Gillette with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
