We don’t leave for longer than 2 hours when we have a dog over and generally take 1 guest dog at a time. We work from home and only watch when we can be here every 2 hours. Over the years, I’ve lived with rescue dogs and have also fostered dogs in the past, gaining experience helping dogs adjust to new environments and routines. Currently, I live in a home with a rescue St. Bernard and a Bernese Mountain Dog. While they aren’t my own dogs, I spend a large amount of my time caring for them, giving them plenty of attention, affection, and exercise.
