About: Hi, I’m Alexis! I’m a recent graduate in biochemistry and lifelong animal lover with over 14 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs — from puppies to seniors, big and small. I’ve personally owned and raised four dogs, including my beloved Airedale who recently passed away after 10 wonderful (and very stubborn!) years together. He taught me patience, persistence, and how to love fiercely — and I bring that same energy to every pet I care for. I’m comfortable caring for pets with medical needs. I’ve personally handed diabetes, arthritis, CKD, and hip displaysia in my own pets and do not shy away when an animal is in need of some extra care. Whether your pup is 15 lbs or 90, I’ve got you covered. I’m always happy to follow your pet’s routine, meds, quirks, and favorite treats to make sure they’re happy and comfortable while you’re away. Let me know if you have any questions or want to chat! I’d love to help out with your pets like they’re my own. I’m located in Scotch Plains and currently work full-time, so I’m mostly available on weekends and weekday evenings after 5 PM. I offer walks, housesitting, and overnights. Please let me know the normal routine that you and your pet have! I will do everything in my power to make them feel as comfortable as possible with me. Just tell me any feeding schedules, medication needs, favorite toys, or treats and I will make sure to tailor an experience just for you and your pet.

About: We lost our 13 yr old american bulldog / hound mix and while mom (Lisa) isn't ready to have a new FT family member just yet, my son and I would be so excited to have fun with and love your pet as our own while you are away. We have a fenced-in back yard, lots of toys and a comfy dog bed - though of course you are welcome to bring your own gear, if it makes your pet feel more comfortable and at home. Typically only board 1 family at a time. Because our schedules can vary, we’re only able to accept boarding requests 2-3 months in advance. We appreciate your understanding! I am self-employed and work from home so am available to give your pet all the attention it deserves, take for walks and potty breaks as needed. We have a fenced yard and I have experience with senior dogs where extra care, love and medication may be needed, and am totally fine with larger dogs as well.

About: I work from home 5 days a week which will allow your dog to get constant attention and love. Having cared for my own dog I understand how difficult it is to leave with someone else. I currently work from home 5 days a week and will be able to attend to your dogs needs. I can take them out for plenty of potty breaks. Since I work from home your dog will get plenty of attention. I live in a very dog friendly community that is great for walks. I will always keep your dog on a secure leash whenever outdoors.

About: I have had pets since before I was old enough to remember. They have brought me so much love and I want to give that right back to them. I have worked with animals from Chinchillas and Hamsters to cats and dogs, and I couldn't ask for a better job. I am currently home for the summer so my availability is very flexible and open! I will be more than happy to accommodate whatever times your animals need to stay happiest and healthiest. The only times I am unavailable are from 9-12:30 Monday through Thursday up until June 20th. At home I take care of 2 cats and a large dog, as well as a water frog! I am very experienced in all aspects of cat and dog care and would love to extend my care to your animals.

About: I have taken care of cats extensively in the past, cat-sitting for family and friends for weeks at a time. They relied on me to feed and generally care for cats in the past. I am eager to gain more experience with dogs, as I have always had a soft spot for them and absolutely love to walk, play with, and care for them. I currently work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays. For now, I am available outside of those hours on weekdays as well as on weekends. In my client's home, I would be sure to follow all routines they have set up for their pet, as well as any other rules they have. During walks and outside of the home care, I would keep a vigilant eye out for the pet to keep them safe, while simultaneously playing and engaging with them so the pet has a fun and positive experience with me.
