Pet-loving mother of four
I'm a pet-loving mother of four with three children in college—and enjoying the wonderful pets I have met through this site. I have lived in Scotch Plains for almost 15 years. I watch several dogs regularly on a private basis and am excited to be part of the Rover community. I grew up with a beloved menagerie that included three cats, two beloved dachshunds and a poodle and have enjoyed watching a variety of dogs, including a bulldog, a French bulldog, a Bernese, a labradoodle, and, of course, mixed breeds. I love walking and daily yoga and look forward to helping your pets get the fresh air, activity and affection they need when you are working or otherwise busy. I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule and have time for walks and visits before or after work and at lunchtime. Having raised a family, I know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is mature and reliable and understands how deeply you love your pets--and am honored to assist you in keeping them happy and healthy. While I would love to help every pet, I am petite, so my ideal sized pets are under 50 pounds.

Elaine took the initiative to come for a meet and greet which is thoughtful and caring of her. She’s easy to work with and followed instructions perfectly. Pepper was happy to see her and he was well taken care of.

Elaine always does an excellent job watching our animals (both cat visits and dog walking). She is great about being flexible on schedule updates and has been a life saver for us in terms of arranging animal care to fit our work schedules.
Elaine was great! She met with us and our kitties a few days before we left and took note of our routine. Cats were well taken care of and happy when we got home. Thank you!!

Schedule
I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule and my own car. I rise early every day, and I am often available on weekends. I am often available at lunch time to clients who need their dogs walked mid day.
