About: We lost our 13 yr old american bulldog / hound mix and while mom (Lisa) isn't ready to have a new FT family member just yet, my son and I would be so excited to have fun with and love your pet as our own while you are away. We have a fenced-in back yard, lots of toys and a comfy dog bed - though of course you are welcome to bring your own gear, if it makes your pet feel more comfortable and at home. Typically only board 1 family at a time. Because our schedules can vary, we’re only able to accept boarding requests 2-3 months in advance. We appreciate your understanding! I am self-employed and work from home so am available to give your pet all the attention it deserves, take for walks and potty breaks as needed. We have a fenced yard and I have experience with senior dogs where extra care, love and medication may be needed, and am totally fine with larger dogs as well.
About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years. I had a miniature poodle for many years and then I had a chocolate lab. I absolutely adore animals and treat every fur friend like they’re my own. While I do work full time, my job is 1 mile from my home and I come home for lunch during the day and I’m home by 3:30 so pet sitting and boarding works well for my schedule. I have a fenced backyard and plenty of pet beds. I also have deck with a gate and dog bed in case they just want some fresh air.

About: I have had dogs for 25 years, we had 2 rescue dogs when our kids were growing up. Since then I have walked and dog sat for many different families. I prefer to have 1 dog at a time for dog sitting overnight and for weeks at a time. I have had people’s dogs stay with me for several weeks at a time. About: I have either owned or taken care of dogs since I was very young. I began dog sitting around 10 years ago. I can come to your home or do in home visits. I have taken care of dogs of all sizes from Cane Corsos to Bassett Hounds and many more. I currently work remotely and am home during the day. I never had someone else care for my dogs as long as I've had them so I was a bit nervous but Trisha made me feel so comfortable. I work 12 hour days and my husband left the country for a month and I would have been lost without her! 5 days a week at noon and she was always in time and sent photos! She took the time to give one of my dogs (who had to be put to sleep that month) so much extra love and attention because I couldn't be there. I thought I had to make the decision alone but she was there to help me through it, comfort me and check up on me. She goes above and beyond for her clients and their babies. She's the best!”
About: I’ve walked dogs since high school! I have also volunteered at an animal shelter for the passed 2 years taking care of a variety of different sized breeds. I have also been a vet assistant at clinic since September! I’m currently in college and working part time but have more time on the weekends and to do overnight pet care if needed! I also have some time during the week and will be more available this summer. In a clients home, my attention would be on the dog! I would not let them be outside unsupervised, and would strictly follow the instructions given by the owner.
About: I've been a professional pet sitter/house sitter/dog walker since I moved to New Jersey in 2022. I'm looking to expand my client base, so I'm joining Rover. Prior to working as a pet sitter, I worked at an indoor dog park in Seattle. I'm comfortable with large and small dogs...we have two Great Pyrenees mixes and two small dogs at home, as well as two cats and a tortoise Located in Fanwood and serving the surround area. Pictured, above, are some of my happy clients. I'm a full-time pet/house sitter, so I'm available for walks & visits 7 days a week from 8am-10pm. Happy to take on one-time walks and regular visits. Safety for the pet is my top priority. I always make sure that gates are closed before I let pets out, and I'm always careful to not let flight risk animals out accidentally. “I believe my pups had the most comfortable and wonderful stay at Katherine and Lucas’s! They made their home so cozy and welcoming for my dogs, who are big couch potatoes, that they felt pretty secure in a new place. Not to mention their one family (of dogs!) at a time policy which works great for anxious dogs like mine who are insecure around other dogs. Lucas and Katherine are a great couple who genuinely seem to love dogs and they sent me daily updates and photos. After a few not so stellar experience with other sitters on this app, I feel like I’ve found the perfect caregivers for my fur babies! Highly recommend!”

Unfortunately, pit bull get a bad rap and I had some difficulty trying to find a sitter. We use his service twice and the second time around, my dog Nico went into his house wagging his tail like he lived there.
