Cat caregivers near you - Gillette
About: I had a Yorkshire Terrier who lived for almost 16 years. After he passed away, I found a small puppy on the street. I took care of him and eventually couldn't give him away. Now Lucky—that's his name—is 4 years old and weighs 75 lbs. I'm very comfortable with dogs and have a good understanding of their behavior and what they need. You could say I have over 20 years of experience with dogs, and even more if you count cats. If your dog loves to run, I can take him to a park with unpaved trails (I can explain why I prefer unpaved trails) and ride alongside him on my bicycle. I have a protective dog cover for the back seat of my car and a leash that can be attached to a bicycle. I also periodically donate money to people who rescue and care for orphaned and homeless dogs. I have enough time to handle this job, plus I truly love dogs and cats, so it's honestly more of a hobby than a job. First, I sit on the floor next to the dog. When my eyes are almost at the same level as the dog's eyes, they feel no aggression from the stranger. When the dog gets used to me and my presence doesn't disturb him/her, I start playing with him/her (I can't call them 'it'). I've fed orphaned and homeless dogs before and know how to approach them. Once I spent 5 hours (I'm not kidding) saving a homeless dog who had fallen into a water drainage and couldn't get out.
“Roselie handled my very fussy Maine Coone really well, was there every day as we had scheduled, and sent me an excellent summary a photos each visit. Both myself and my little queen are very appreciative! Would not hesitate to ask Roselie to help out for my next trip.”
“As always a stellar job!! This was our 3rd time together and we already have booked her for our future travel plans. She’s the best! Our cats actually like her.”
“She was so easy to work with she really loves animals. She came last minute when I needed her, which is a big deal. She stayed with my Cats the whole night she took pictures. She gave them their favorite treats and she played with them.”
“Sheila took wonderful care of our cats for a little over two weeks, and we couldn’t be more grateful. She is incredibly meticulous, genuinely loves animals, and went above and beyond what was required to make sure our cats were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She also kept an eye on our home and alerted us to a water leak in time, which we truly appreciated. We felt completely at ease knowing both our cats and our home were in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommended.”
“Kim was great with our cats. Kim even got our timid cat to come out to be pet. She was always on time and sent cute pictures too. Highly recommend Kim, she was great with our last-minute booking as well.”
“Emily did an excellent job updating me on my cats while I was away. Followed instructions and was very communicative during the time I was away. Would recommend highly to anyone looking for a great pet sitter.”
“Cassidy took such great care of our 3 cats while we were gone! She was reliable and sent us tons of photo and video updates! She checked in when concerns arose and was kind enough to even vacuum when our kitties made some messes. We are so glad to have found Cassidy and will absolutely be booking with her in the future! If you’re looking for a kind, trustworthy person to care for your fur babies look no further!”

“Jessica was amazing with our fur baby! She sent us photos and constant updates. Our little Leia came home happy and tired after a day full of play. Thank you Jessica for taking such good care of her. We will definitely use your services again.”
“This was our first time using a dog sitter and we chose Jessica based on her good reviews. She def lived up to her reputation. She is so sweet and friendly. She asked all the right questions to prepare for my pups visit. Baxter loved her. He came home exhausted. Her knowledge of dogs is awesome. She gave me tips and advice on how to continue training my pup. I received pictures through out his stay.”
“Julissa has been amazing with our little lucy. My wife and I work in the City so finding someone trusting to look after our Cav while we're away was very important to us. Our job can sometimes be demanding as well with odd hours but Julissa has been very accomodating to us. What I love about Julissa is she keeps us posted with photos and updates throughout the day. It always brings a smile to our face knowing that our lucy is having fun and being well taken care of. Would high recommend Julissa for day care needs! Our pup thrives more around humans than other dogs, and Julissa and her family always give Lucy the affection she loves.”
“Armani had a great time during his sit as he came back energetic and super playful! They also provided constant updates which I absolutely loved. They definitely took care of my puppy, so I highly recommend!”
“Lupe is fantastic!! He is so good with our pup and we feel so grateful to have found him!! He is so friendly and welcoming. He goes above and beyond to make sure all of our dog’s needs are met. We had an emergency and he was super accommodating and made sure that our dog was in good hands. He has an awesome large yard that our dog loves to run in. Highly recommend!”

“Debbie sent pictures and all I saw were 2 small dogs who did not miss their human Mom. There was play time (smiles and action), down time (cuddling and relaxing). I was always under the impression they sat in a corner and missed me with all their tiny hearts, but no - Debbie had them going the whole time! One fell asleep on the drive home due to the days action, the other needed every minute of tthe days action! Her property is amazing! Gorgeous setting only maybe two or three miles from downtown Bernardsville. So much safe space to run and play in. Exploring is at the top of Louie's requirements and he had a whole acre of fenced in yard to get all his Terrier on! Thanks so much Debbie! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!”
“Ekaterina and her family did such an amazing job with my very shy, reserved labradoodle. He spent the entire day at their home and upon pickup, he was calm, content and happy. I highly recommend Ekaterina and we look forward to using her again!”
“Champ had the greatest day with Eunice and her family! He ran around the yard, played with her dog and got so many cuddles! I can always tell what kind of day he’s had when I pick him up and he was happy as can be! Plus lots of amazing pics throughout the day. Highly recommend Eunice!”
“Isbath and her family welcomed my puppy Koltrane with open arms. I was grateful that they were able to accommodate me at the very last minute and provide daycare services for 4 days straight. They provided a safe backyard for play and potty breaks, and enrichment time. My puppy tried to run back into the yard the 1st day when I picked him, and was always excited to return and play. They were understanding of all Koltranes excitable energy which made me comfortable with bringing him back. Highly recommended.”
“This was one of the best Rover experiences we have had! Jaclynn is just wonderful! We were visiting from Florida for a few days, and asked her to watch our little Sushi while we spent time with family. Not only is Jaclynn super nice, friendly and full of positive energy, she runs her business like a pro, which we really appreciated. I think most dog sitters love the dogs - but Jaclynn is clearly very knowledgeable and really knows how to care for her guests, and keep them happy and engaged. We especially appreciated the photos and her “report card” that filled us in on Sushi’s time with her. We visit NJ frequently and Sushi will definitely be back! Thanks so much, Jacki!!!”
“Katie is absolutely amazing! She is communicative, thoughtful, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took such great care of Hatchi and made sure that he was comfortable and happy the entire time. We really appreciated the regular updates, photos, and little notes about how he was doing. It’s clear that Katie genuinely cares about the pets she looks after, and Hatchi came back relaxed and well cared for. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive sitter. Thank you Katie!”

We don’t go out for more than 2 hours with a dog staying. I have a big fenced yard and a friendly husky that will keep your pet entertained. We also have a great dog walking neighborhood and path.

About: I've been caring for small pets such as, Hamsters, Guinea-pigs and Fish (from goldfish, etc. to Oscars, etc.) from a very young age. Therein, for example, when I was still a little girl, my friend and neighbor could no longer care for their beloved, hamster, Andy; who did they think of... me ! So, Andy, the hamster was adopted and added to the fold. Next, Cats and Dogs. When my neighbor found a stray cat had given birth in their shed closet, again, who did they call?! I adopted one of the 3 kittens; adopting their sibling from the same liter soon after the first adoptee, was unable to care for it. I began caring for Angel and Geisha, my first two cats. Last but not least, Dogs... Cream was a white Pittie, whose owner, again, became unable to care for her so she lived with me and my 2 year old daughter at the time, and they loved each other dearly. After, finding Cream a permanent home, I had the honor of caring for other dogs for friends and neighbors even the homeless, from which I cared for Lulu, a pittie, living with her owner on the street. However, she received a healthy diet, vet care and patience, training to reverse some of the habits she developed living on the street. Now, although, I've cared for others such as Bamboo, the Pitbull, that seemed to take care of himself, lol and Karma, who needed a foster during the Covid pandemic; I'm entrusted with the care of my Pittie/German-Sheppard Gran-pet baby, Nasir aka Nas, while my daughter's in college. Nice enough, I still get to switch it up and care for the Cats (and small pets) of various friends and neighbors in my community. With that, I try o create a Pet-care Staycation like atmosphere when boarding or Home care while pet-parents are away and a Family like atmosphere for Fosters. I look forward to meeting your furry friends and four legged family members :) Pet care is not only therapeutic, it fits into my schedule perfectly, since I am a semi-retired administrative professional who suffered an untimely stroke at a young age. However. after an almost miraculous recovery, I'd like to move forward in a direction that nurtures my empathetic personality. Therein, leaving the desk behind, affording me with a more active lifestyle, all year round. As to that, my days generally consist of assisting my daughter with her dog, exercise, personal errands and volunteering a few hours a week. Although, I take pet care jobs occasionally, I'd like to "officially"extend my services to do something I love (I believe I'm good at it.) and rewarding because the pets (my clients) always seem to appreciate it. I have a fenced in yard and super friendly and silly, one year old fur gran-baby that would be happy to show a visiting canine "the ropes", lol. I can also crate and/or crate train your dog(s), when necessary. They will always have access to clean water; be walked consistently and fed on time and kept in a clean an organized space, whether at your home or mine. I make sure to follow pet parents care instructions. I send photos or video of fun moments to give insight as to how your pets are doing and cared for. I play, pet and communicate with each pet in their way to build trust, friendship and joy while their pet parents are away. In addition, I have had some dog training in the recent past and will have more dog training in the near future to help me care for our hairy pals compassionately and efficiently. [NOTE to Drop-in Clients: Please understand, Safety is a concern for Everyone; pet care givers, pet parents and pets. I work on a basis of professional Trust between all parties, including the pet party. All I can offer are my Referrals, my Word as a trusted professional and a background check conducted by Rover. I expect the same appropriate professionalism, trustworthiness and mutual respect from those who accept my Services. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.] I look forward to working with you. ;-)

We will definitely use Josh again for future dog care needs and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Thank you, Josh! 🐾”
“Our pup had a great stay at Lucas and Kathrine’s! We were constantly updated throughout the stay with pictures and videos. It looked like he had a blast! Our pup will definitely be staying there again!”
“Jaimie took beautiful care of my gentle giant, Ollie. Ollie is 100 pounds of love and fluff and I was very anxious about leaving him because he is so attached to me. Jaimie made me feel at ease at our meet and greet and we got to meet her pup and cat. With a big fenced in backyard, lots of dog toys, and a comfy couch for lounging, Jaimie made me feel right at home. We told her that Ollie might be too nervous to eat, and she sent pictures and updates constantly. Ollie was eating in no time and Ollie came home happy and well fed. Ollie loves humans snd she sent pictures of her and the dog watching tv together at night and of Ollie with her daughter. I am happy to recommend her and will be using her again!”
“Grace is terrific wirh our dogs. They love being wirh her. She definitely spoils them and takes great care of them. She is very responsive. We are grateful we found her through Rover.”

“Oh my God, what should I say about this wonderful person, ISBATH, who looked after our Ace. Our dog is a single master dog and really a protector type. I was little hesitant to take him to meet Ms. Isbath. I don’t know, she may be some kind of magical approach. I never heard a single growl from Ace, which was really surprising. The day I dropped him to Isbath’s house, gradually Ace become a family member. The day I dropped Ace, Ms. Isbath send me plenty of photos and videos to update the boarding. My family and I are very much happy to Isbath and her family to look after our Ace and once we picked him up from Ace, he joined back to our family. I am sure that Ace also got a very excited and awesome vacation. We will definitely recommend Isbath and family. Once again thank you Isbath and Thank you Rover. May God Bless us all.”
“Thank you Whitney & Michael! And to your sweet girls! Not only do you take very good care of Baily when we're away, but you treat him like he's part of your family, which makes all the difference!”
“It was such a pleasure meeting Natalie! She was so sweet and capable, Shayla took to her and her son Ben almost immediately. I felt confident with her right off the bat. She sent daily updates and pics, I couldn’t ask for more, really. But it was the quality of care that I noticed and my pup was returned to me a happy dog.”
“Lisa and her family did a wonderful job watching our dog while we were away. We received daily pictures and updates. We were so relieved to know Buddy was in good hands! We will definitely be taking Buddy back sometime!”
“Caliber had the best caregivers in the world. I have so much respect for Siram and Rekha. Caliber is a fussy pet, they took the care to make sure he ate, take him for walks etc., They are Caliber forever caregiver as long as they are available.”
“John was very tentative to our dog . We loved his positive energy . We can tell he's a true animal lover . He was so easy going and flexible when we had to change our drop off off time last minute . Love how him and his son made our dog feel loved :) Photos were adorable of her he sent ! Thanks so much :)”
“Na was amazing in taking care of my rescue dog who is generally very nervous and shy around strangers. She took the time to let him get to know her and gave him plenty of space to play and took him on many walks. The communication throughout was also top notch, I got so many pictures and updates, which made me feel at ease that he is happy and safe with her. At the end of the stay my dog was so comfortable that he wanted to go back into her house! Which says a lot! I’m sure both my dog and I will be happy to go back.”
