About: I had a Yorkshire Terrier who lived for almost 16 years. After he passed away, I found a small puppy on the street. I took care of him and eventually couldn't give him away. Now Lucky—that's his name—is 4 years old and weighs 75 lbs. I'm very comfortable with dogs and have a good understanding of their behavior and what they need. You could say I have over 20 years of experience with dogs, and even more if you count cats. If your dog loves to run, I can take him to a park with unpaved trails (I can explain why I prefer unpaved trails) and ride alongside him on my bicycle. I have a protective dog cover for the back seat of my car and a leash that can be attached to a bicycle. I also periodically donate money to people who rescue and care for orphaned and homeless dogs. I have enough time to handle this job, plus I truly love dogs and cats, so it's honestly more of a hobby than a job. First, I sit on the floor next to the dog. When my eyes are almost at the same level as the dog's eyes, they feel no aggression from the stranger. When the dog gets used to me and my presence doesn't disturb him/her, I start playing with him/her (I can't call them 'it'). I've fed orphaned and homeless dogs before and know how to approach them. Once I spent 5 hours (I'm not kidding) saving a homeless dog who had fallen into a water drainage and couldn't get out.

We don’t leave for longer than 2 hours when we have a dog over and generally take 1 guest dog at a time. We work from home and only watch when we can be here every 2 hours. We don’t go out for more than 2 hours with a dog staying. I have a big fenced yard and a friendly husky that will keep your pet entertained. We also have a great dog walking neighborhood and path.

About: I've been caring for small pets such as, Hamsters, Guinea-pigs and Fish (from goldfish, etc. to Oscars,etc.) from a very young age. Therein, for example, when I was still a little girl, my friend and neighbor could no longer care for their beloved, hamster, Andy; who did they think of... me ! So, Andy, the hamster was adopted and added to the fold. Next, Cats and Dogs. When my neighbor found a stray cat had given birth in their shed closet, again, who did they call?! I adopted one of the 3 kittens; adopting their sibling from the same liter soon after the first adoptee, was unable to care for it. I began caring for Angel and Geisha, my first two cats. Last but not least, Dogs... Cream was a white Pittie, whose owner, again, became unable to care for her so she lived with me and my 2 year old daughter at the time, and they loved each other dearly. After, finding Cream a permanent home, I had the honor of caring for other dogs for friends and neighbors even the homeless, from which I cared for Lulu, a pittie, living with her owner on the street. However, she received a healthy diet, vet care and patience, training to reverse some of the habits she developed living on the street. Now, although, I've cared for others such as Bamboo, the Pitbull, that seemed to take care of himself, lol and Karma, who needed a foster during the Covid pandemic; I'm entrusted with the care of my Pittie/German-Sheppard Gran-pet baby, Nasir aka Nas, while my daughter's in college. Nice enough, I still get to switch it up and care for the Cats (and small pets) of various friends and neighbors in my community. About: Hi, I'm Xiomara and currently live in the Chatham, NJ area. I'm a huge lover of pets and have had many growing up and continuing over the years into adulthood. I currently have one cat at home, who is almost 14 years old and at times help take care of my family's Shih Tzu. Our previous family dog had diabetes, so I have experience administering medication should that be necessary. I love dogs and cats, whether they are young or old equally, and you can trust your pet will get the best treatment from me. I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule, so I'll have time to play with your fur babies and am available any day you may need. My home is smoke free, one level and has just enough space for your pet to run around safely. My cat will also be around to keep them company.
