About: Lifelong pet owner. Current vet student (CPR and Fear Free certified, trained in all routes of medication administration). I started petsitting when I was 10, and have held animal care positions for the last 10 years. I'm currently on summer break from vet school, so I am available full-time for pet sitting. I can do drop-ins or overnights and currently have no other commitments. I am very detail-oriented so I will be sure to follow any instructions provided for me! Having an initial walkthrough visit is ideal for me to meet your pet, talk through care details, and see your care area's layout. I am a big snuggler and will update as often as you'd like!

“This is our first time using Rover for in home sitting. We could not be happier with our experience with Julie-Anne! Julie-Anne was so wonderful and attentive to our Penny! She has a gentle presence about her which seemed to immediately put Penny at ease. Penny has separation anxiety - and so is likely to retreat to our bed waiting for us to come home. Julie-Anne was extremely sensitive to that - and seemed to know the right amount of giving her space and bringing her out and engaging with her. By the end of the weekend Penny was jumping in Julie-Ann's bed! Julie-Anne kept us informed the entire weekend with cute photos of them hanging out, playing, taking walks, squirrel watching etc It was such a comfort to know that Penny was in such caring and kind hands!”

“Joiee recent sitter for my 2 year old German Shepherd. The word AMAZING isn’t enough to describe her. Before the actual dates, she took time to come to my house to meet my dog then while I was gone, she kept me updated on their activities and sent me some great pictures of the 2 of them together. After I got home, he was actually crying (which he only does when my daughter leaves the house) and I am pretty sure he missed his new friend. If you are looking for a sitter for your dog, I recommend Joiee to the absolute highest degree. Not only did my dog find a new friend but I will 100% be booking with her in the future. Thank you Joiee for treating my dog like he was your own.”

“Sammy did a wonderful job caring for our pets: Zeiss, Freya, Reggie and the chickens! She was excellent about communicating daily by reaching out with questions or concerns, and providing a daily summary of how things went. In addition, she left a final day's report to let us know if we were running low on any supplies. I found Sammy to be respectful, communicative, responsible and she left the house neat and clean. The ONLY room for improvement would be if Freya was walked on her leash; - she is a puller and strong willed though, so I understand why! Sammy was wonderfully patient with Freya and her escapades of escaping our yard, and we worked together to find the right solution for keeping her safe and getting outdoor time. I can tell our cat loved the attention he got and I think he misses Sammy!”

“As always Jill is very dependable and takes great care of our dog When we arrive home the house is always as we left it I would highly recommend Jill”

“Eko and Sarah were great! They responded right away to my request and during their house-sitting they communicated any questions clearly. Got lots of pictures of our pup from their walks and overnight. It brought us such peace of mind that such lovely and attentive people were caring for our dog while we were away! Will definitely book with them again!”

“Jen was so wonderful - we would highly recommend her for pet/house sitting and we will definitely ask her to watch our pups again! She helped us with a last minute booking and was so flexible. Our dogs seemed happy and relaxed when we got home. She updated us often throughout the stay with pictures and we came home to our house looking great. She was wonderful with our dogs!”

“Jaqueline is always amazing with our pups. Between the elderly dog, the one with IBS and a house that seemingly always has something go wrong, Jacqueline navigates every situation with grace and understanding.”

“Sam came through at the last minute to house sit during a birthday celebration after another sitter canceled. Not only did he save the day, but he provided even higher quality care than we could have imagined. Our 6 month old puppy adored him from the moment he walked into our apartment. He asked great questions before we left and within minutes of being gone she was snuggled up with him on the sofa. He provided fun and informative updates that put us at ease while we were away—allowing us to fully enjoy the night. Sam is now our go-to sitter. We will certainly book his services in the future. Highly recommend for knowledgeable, playful, and attentive care for your pet.”

“Great dog sitter. Dogs were very well taken care of.”

About: I've raised & trained 4 dogs and have taken care of neighbors pets along with my adult children's dogs. You have to live it and experience it in order to receive the rewards, handle the challenges & overall personalities of different breeds to be a successful care giver. My young adult children call me the Dog Whisperer. I'm retired in great shape and constantly do 2-3 mile hikes with dogs and they receive my undivided attention. Looking to bring some happiness and comfort to dogs, while allowing their owners the freedom & peace of mind knowing they have the best care possible. I've rescued several dogs in distress that weren't in my care, but came upon situations where the dog was in trouble and the owner didn't know how to respond. I'm retired and don't travel often. My wife is an RN in the local school district and we really only do occasional trips through out New England. She also works the school summer programs, so I have a lot of free time and open to all hours of the day and night. Prefer to take care of pets at owners home, but can make an occasional exception. I spend a lot of time at different parks like Hopkinton State, Veterans Freedom in Westboro, and other natural conservation sites.

About: You won’t find a more gentle animal lover! Throughout my life I have cared for many kinds of animals, including your every day cats and dogs, and also some farm and aquarium animals as well. It has always been a passion of mine to care for creatures of all shapes and sizes. Pet care is more than just a hobby to me, it keeps me healthy and happy. I have an injury that makes me need to walk on a regular basis or I may lose the ability to walk. The way I see it, if I can have an excited furry friend to walk with, all the merrier! You’re doing me a favor by lending me your friend for company, so thank you for considering me for your pet care! I’m willing to negotiate prices based on the service desired, as this will help me get the exercise I need! I am especially good with cats, but dogs love me just as much and I love them right back! My schedule is entirely open until I return to college in September, and even then I may be able to continue pet care. I have an injury that limits my mobility but requires daily walking to prevent the loss of function in my legs, since I must walk daily to prevent that, why not walk a cute and friendly doggo? This is much more than a side hustle for me, it is my passion, my health, and my dream to pet all the cats and dogs! I will be caring for animals at your home, I can house-sit for you if needed. I drive a hybrid so multiple trips in a day within reasonable distance isn’t a problem either if you’d prefer that. I’m open to working with you and adapting to what your pet needs. Just like people, every pet has their differences. For dogs I would do 20-30 minute walks at least 3x per day, fed once in the morning and once at night. Brushing as needed, I can do some basic training like sit, stay or come, I can also get timid dogs to stop nipping in self defence. I take about 30 minutes to 2 hours a day depending on the dog, just playing with them, tug of war, fetch, etc. so they’ll get plenty of exercise if you have an outdoor lead or fenced area. I won’t let your dog off the leash outside otherwise just so they’re safe the whole time. If they have toys, I will play with them! For cats I’ll check the litter box once per day. Test consistency to see if the litter is in need of changing. I can monitor their excrement to tell if they’re healthy. Like dogs, I’ll feed once every morning and once every night, only difference being I’ll usually start their day with wet food and end with dry kibble in a little water. I know a ton about cats and their health from helping my parents breed Siberian forest kittens, so I’m especially good with cats. Did you know cats whiskers can become irritated by eating out of a bowl shaped dish? I think that’s why they pretend it’s empty as soon as they can see the bottom lol. They also don’t like to drink often and will ignore dehydration, so it’s good to add water to their food, as obligate carnivores they would get most hydration from their food. Cats get brushing once a day if they like it, some cats can’t stand being brushed, others love it, so it depends on your cats personality. Some cats can be trained, I find this especially true with more energetic breeds like Siamese and oriental shorthair cats. Getting a cat to come when called is a pretty big deal! It means they really love you, and a cats love is not easy to earn!

“We are so grateful we found Chelsea to watch our dogs for the week! The meet and greet was very helpful to get to know her and tell her our dogs routine. Our dogs looked like they were getting all the snuggles and love while we were gone. She even took two ticks off our behavioral dog while we were gone! Thank you again Chelsea for keeping us updated and trying to stick to our dogs routines.”

“Mariann took very good care of Willow and returned her happy and healthy.”

About: What sets me apart is my reliability, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like my own- making sure they're not just safe, but also happy, and well cared for. I follow instructions closely and communicate clearly with pet owners. Pet care is an important part of my daily and waekly routine. I currently care for my own dog, Boston Terrier, who is 15. Her name is Lola. I make sure she is fed, walked and taken care of. Since she's a senior dog, I make sure I stay alert to her health and behavior. I make sure my dog has a clean, safe space, fresh food, and water, regular exercise as she permits, and lots of hugs and kisses. I make sure they are comfortable and well-monitored throughout the day.

Emma K.Star Sitter
“I’ve known Emma since we were both in 7th grade, and I can’t think of anyone better suited to take care of pets. Not only does she take great care of her own fur babies (ensuring they stick to routines, giving them medications, etc.), but she brings this same level of care to other people’s pets as well. I’ve been able to see first-hand just how attentive and caring she is, and even how far she’ll go to ensure a pet’s safety and comfort. I know anyone would be lucky to have Emma pet sit for their babies.”

“To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to highly recommend my brother, Christopher Golding, for any pet sitting or animal care opportunities. He has a natural connection with animals and is one of the most responsible and caring people I know. Over the years, I’ve seen him care for a variety of pets—including dogs, cats, and small animals—with remarkable patience and attention. He takes the time to understand each animal’s unique needs, whether it’s keeping up with a playful pup’s energy, gently coaxing a shy cat out of hiding, or ensuring medication and feeding schedules are followed precisely. Christopher Golding is dependable, trustworthy, and truly loves animals. I have no doubt that any pet in his care will receive the same affection and diligence he shows to our own family pets. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and skilled pet sitter. Sincerely, Jeremy”

Chelsea took great care of our crew and kept in great communication. We’re happy to have found her and will be using her gain!

Emerie was wonderfulwith our dogs! Sent photos & helped them get through fireworks. Plus she watered all my plants!

Very conscientious, caring and responsible. She was communicative throughout the weekend with updates and photos. I would have her back any time!!

Jessica was absolutely amazing with my shy Italian Greyhound and my cat! I went away and didn’t have one single worry. There were pictures every day with notes on how both of my pets were doing. When she had to return my key, both pets ran towards her and were so excited to see her! I would highly recommend Jessica!
