“Sofia was great! She dropped in twice a day, for 6 days, while we were on vacation. We had an unexpected health issue with our one dog, and she went out of her way to make his life easier while we were gone. We were sent plenty of photos and could see that all of our pets really connected well with Sofia. I would recommend her to anyone who's looking for a great pet sitter!”

“Hollie is such a delight and goes above and beyond! She was wonderful and always gave the best updates and pictures during and after every visit. I couldn’t recommend her enough and would definitely book her again in the future!!”

“Lisa is wonderful. She did drop in visits when I was away for a few days and my dog was well cared for. She walked him when needed and spent time with him when he chewed on his bones. She’s flexible and I will definitely use her again.”

“Jacob was extremely detailed and asked questions I hadn’t thought of in order to make sure my girl had the most positive experience! I am extremely pleased with Jacob’s work.”

“Si Yeon took good care of my girls and was communicative throughout! My cats both liked her and seemed to be comfortable around her which put my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend!”

“Miranda is AWESOME!! So attentive, the pups love her, and she’s just a cool and kind lady. We’ be recommended her to a bunch of friends and family. We’ll continue working with Miranda as long as she likes!”

“Mariah provided friendly, dependable, and courteous drop in care for our senior kitty. He needed medication at the last minute. (When we first booked Mariah , kitty only needed basic drop-in care. But just before we left an issue arose requiring medication.) Mariah handled everything beautifully and with care. Excellent”

“Skylar did a fantastic job taking care of my two cats while I was away for 2 weeks on business. My cats warmed up to her quickly. The care was complicated by some medical issues with my cats, and the fact that I had just recently moved to a new place, but she handled everything fantastically and kept the cats happy and healthy”

“Rachel's care and attention to individual needs of our dogs is much appreciated. She took the time to stop by, meet our dogs and understand their habits and routines just to ensure they have a great experience. We happily recommend her services.”

About: I have had dogs all my life, I have a mini golden doodle, cane corso rotty mix, and pitbull mix that I have walked and fed them many times, and have always loved playing with them I just moved to the Norristown and North Wales Area. I am looking to get established with families here who may need someone extra thorough and trustworthy to watch the fur babies now and in the future. I am looking to make a bit extra cash as well as get involved and meet new people and animals. When going into someone else’s home, and taking care of their animals, I think about how I would like someone to treat my animals. I make sure when I am taking care of someone else’s animals, they are let out to use the bathroom, played with, given food, water, and extra love.
About: I was working in a grooming shop for 5 years! While working there, I would wash, nail trim, and prep the dogs for the groomers. I also have done in house pet sitting many times and have had dogs my whole life! I currently for the summer as I am a teacher so I have plenty of time to watch your puppies while you're away! Your dog will become like one of my own for the time you're away! I have stayed at people's houses to watch dogs plenty of times! I have two dogs of my own that would love to play and keep your dog company.
“Rachael took great care of my two fur babies while I was away for a weekend. She updated me with cute photos and kept me informed about house details. Would recommend! :)”

“Carolynn is great and we will be using her whenever she is available, to help with our dog! I am a nervous “dog mom” as I worry about our high energy, stubborn bulldog meeting new people, but he loved Carolynn right away and her approach with him was great. We had a meet and greet (twice) and loved that she was willing to do that with us here. She is professional and great with communication. Thank you Carolynn!”

“As a Rover caretaker myself, this was my first time hiring someone to take care of my animals. Rosie was amazing and went above and beyond for my babies. I highly recommend her!”

About: Animals have been part of my life since I was a baby. My first dog, Mixie (a Japanese Tibetan Spaniel), and I grew up together. She met me at the bus stop every day after school — this was before leash laws — and she was truly my best friend. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. All of my pets have been rescues, and each one has been treated as family. Over the years I have: • Raised and cared for rescued dogs and cats of all ages • Adopted my Maine Coon, Tigger, at 12 weeks old and cared for her through adulthood (she even traveled with me from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania) • Raised my Maine Coon mix, Abigail, from kittenhood through 16 years of age — attentive to senior care needs as she aged • Lived for 1.5 years in a multi-pet household with: – Chloe, a 3-year-old Pit Bull – Bear, a 14-year-old Pit Bull/Labrador mix (senior care experience) – Maggie, a tuxedo cat (cared for 10 years) – Max, a tabby (cared for 10 years) – Abigail, my Maine Coon mix During that time, I managed vet visits, medications, feeding schedules, litter maintenance, senior care, and daily backyard exercise and enrichment • Raised Brumby at my apartment — he was my emotional support dog and went everywhere with me, including daily trips to the on-site dog park and errands • Loved and cared for bonded rescued kittens Muffin & Cookie I am comfortable with: ✔ Vet appointments ✔ Administering medications ✔ Senior pets and aging care ✔ High-energy dogs (including young Pit Bulls) ✔ Multi-pet households ✔ Feeding routines & special diets ✔ Structured exercise and enrichment I treat every animal with patience, love, and respect. Their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being always come first. If you’re looking for someone responsible, experienced, and truly devoted to animals, I would be honored to care for your pets. 🐾 Reliable 🐾 Trustworthy 🐾 Flexible scheduling Please feel free to message me to discuss your pet’s needs! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I live in Jeffersonville and work Monday–Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM in Berwyn, which allows me to provide early morning visits before work and evening visits after work. I am fully available on weekends and can often accommodate requests with just a few hours’ notice. I’m also happy to stay overnight during the week or on weekends when needed. I’m organized and dependable, and I schedule pet visits thoughtfully so every cat receives my full attention — whether that’s feeding, medication, playtime, litter maintenance, or simply companionship and comfort. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the pet’s established routine as closely as possible to minimize stress. I carefully review feeding schedules, medication instructions, litter or potty routines, exercise needs, and any special preferences beforehand. I provide enrichment, playtime, affection (if the pet welcomes it), and detailed updates so owners feel completely at ease while away. I am attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits and will notify owners immediately if anything seems off. Cleanliness is important to me — I keep litter areas tidy, wipe food areas, and leave your home exactly as I found it. If caring for a pet in my home (if applicable), I provide a calm, safe environment with structured feeding, supervised play, and plenty of attention. I do not overcrowd pets and prioritize comfort and safety at all times. My goal is for your pet to feel secure, loved, and relaxed while you’re away — and for you to feel confident they are in responsible hands.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had seven dogs and six cats, so caring for pets was a part of my everyday life. From feeding and grooming to playtime, walks, and giving them plenty of love and attention, I learned early on what it takes to help pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for mice, turtles, and fish, giving me experience with a variety of animals and their unique needs. I’ve always had pets throughout my life, and caring for animals has never felt like a chore, it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I also spend time feeding and observing backyard birds, which reflects my love and appreciation for all kinds of animals. Whether I’m caring for a playful puppy, an independent cat, or another beloved pet, I treat every animal with the same patience, kindness, and attention I’d want for my own. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day, and I can easily adjust my routine to meet each pet’s individual needs. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. Although I have an unfenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised, and dogs are always kept safely on a leash. We also have a neighborhood with plenty of sidewalks that are perfect for walks and exercise. If your pet is crate trained or you prefer they be crated when unattended or at bedtime, I’m happy to accommodate that routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully to help pets feel secure in their familiar environment. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same respect and care I would my own.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - West Norriton
Rachel took excellent care of our two kitties while we went on a weeklong trip to California - she was fantastic! The communication was instant and she shared photo updates daily. She even went above and beyond pet sitting to notify us when the power in our downstairs room went out, watered our plants etc. This was our first time being away after we moved to a new house, so we were worried about how they would handle it. But when we got back, the boys seemed happy and weren’t anxious at all. Our shy kitty was even beginning to warm up to her, which speaks volumes - it usually takes him months to be comfortable around new people. He also gets angsty when we are gone for more than a couple days and spite pees after we return, however this time we had no accidents! Apart from that, she’s truly wonderful and a kind person. We’ll 100% be rebooking with her for future trips!

Lauren was perfect! I really appreciated her communication and commitment to checking in on my cat. She sent me pictures as well as an update on the visit. I am such a nervous wreck when it comes to leaving my cat, it felt so nice knowing someone was there and actually cared. Would hire again!

My kitties were very well looked after by Hollie while I was out of town for the week :) Very communicative and sent pictures of playtime with my little guys each day! Reached out immediately with any health concerns and to keep me informed about appearances from my one shy cat that likes to hide for sitters. Cannot recommend her services enough!

This was my second time booking Jacob and I was even happier this time. Jacob took care of my cats as if they were his own. He was available for an emergency visit one of the days I was gone, which I appreciate so much. He was able to give my cats their meds with no problem and was very communicative throughout my trip. I definitely recommend his services to other pet parents.

Valerie took great care of my cat for a whole week. I felt comfortable since she sent detailed descriptions of what they were up to, and I loved the pics including a festive new year pic!! I will continue to pick Valerie as my first choice cat sitter since she is reliable and my cat loves her.

Lisa took great care of our two cats and even sent photos (at least, of the one cat who didn’t hide!)! We rebooked her for the second time and she was as prompt, professional and clear as before with communication. She even helped us out during a drop-in visit by bringing our trash bin from the curb, which we really appreciated!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
