I love to learn as much as possible about your pup before hand so I can be extra prepared . I'd love to know their routine, personality, favorite activities, feeding schedule, and anything that helps them feel comfortable and happy 🐶🐱. I also appreciate knowing about any medical needs, medications, fears, anxieties, or behaviors I should be aware of. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, stress-free experience and make sure your pet receives the same love, attention, and care they're used to at home.🩷
A typical day
A typical day starts with making sure your pet is comfortable and settled into their routine. For dogs, that means potty breaks, walks, interactive play sessions, enrichment activities, feeding, fresh water, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Whether your dog loves a game of fetch, tug-of-war, chasing toys, exploring new scents on a walk, or simply getting belly rubs and cuddles, I make sure they stay mentally and physically engaged. For cats, I provide scheduled feedings, clean litter boxes, interactive play, and companionship tailored to their personality. I always send updates and photos so you can see how much fun your pet is having while you're away. Every pet is unique, and I'm happy to adjust to their individual needs, energy levels, and routines.🐾🩷

What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for animals and my genuine passion for their well-being. Since I was 5 years old, I've cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, fish, and more, giving me a strong understanding of different pets' needs and personalities. In the past 2 years I have been working at a dog wellness/ grooming center, where I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I also previously volunteered with the Elmwood Park Zoo as well as a local cat shelter which helped deepen my knowledge of animal care and behavior. I'm comfortable caring for puppies & kittens , adult dogs & cats , and senior pets, and I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and following each pet's unique routine. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing plenty of attention, playtime, affection, and care while their owners are away.

We trust Lana to dog sit and care for our Great Dane. He's 213lbs and she is always so great with him! She has a true gift when it comes to bonding with animals and it shines through during every interaction. She shows so much kindness and patience, and he lights up when she's around. We know he's in good hands with her and we know that she can handle anything that comes at her while we are gone (he can be a lot of dog!). She takes great pride and responsibility in her duties of caring for animals and we can relax when we know she's there. Definitely a good hire for pet care.
