âSydney did a lovely job getting to know my kitties before we left for the week and my cats warmed up to her very quickly. She sent many pictures and great updates while we were away. Which is just a nice thing to see when you are away, because you know that they are happy as well! I will absolutely be booking her again for our future travels.â

âRachael was exceptional in taking care of my pup Gouda. I knew upon our meet and greet that my boy would be in food hands but each visit she continued to go above and beyond. âAlec was top notch! Our big boy St. Bernard can be a bit grumpy towards strangers but Alec took the time to stop over before the booking service to meet him and bond. About: Iâm a lifelong animal lover and have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages and needs. I have a 12-year-old diabetic chocolate Lab who is not just our family dog, but my best friend, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and giving pets extra care and attention. Caring for a senior dog with medical needs has taught me responsibility and how important routines are. Iâve also dog sat for family and friends many times. I treat every pet like theyâre my own, and I want owners to feel comfortable knowing their pets are getting plenty of care, attention, and love while theyâre away. I am currently unemployed, so I have a very open and flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they need throughout the day. Whether itâs walks, feeding schedules, playtime, bathroom breaks, or simply keeping them company, I can easily adjust my day around their needs. In my home or your home, I understand that every pet is different. So I am happy to follow any specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, or special care needs. My main focus is making sure your furry friend feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Norristown
Si yeon was amazing. We have not been away more than 2 nights since pre-pandemic because our cats donât do well without us, but we came home to 3 happy, well loved fur babies! We had such a great time knowing they were well loved and cared for. Needless to say, weâll be taking more trips and booking with Si yeon again. We canât thank her enough.

Julie did a wonderful job taking care of my cats while I was gone, providing plenty of pictures for me and engagement for them. She was also willing to work with me to get through my building's byzantine security system, which I appreciated. She made my first extended trip away from my cats a stress free experience.

Mariah provided friendly, dependable, and courteous drop in care for our senior kitty. He needed medication at the last minute. (When we first booked Mariah , kitty only needed basic drop-in care. But just before we left an issue arose requiring medication.) Mariah handled everything beautifully and with care. Excellent

This was my second time booking Jacob and I was even happier this time. Jacob took care of my cats as if they were his own. He was available for an emergency visit one of the days I was gone, which I appreciate so much. He was able to give my cats their meds with no problem and was very communicative throughout my trip. I definitely recommend his services to other pet parents.

Lisa took great care of our two cats and even sent photos (at least, of the one cat who didnât hide!)! We rebooked her for the second time and she was as prompt, professional and clear as before with communication. She even helped us out during a drop-in visit by bringing our trash bin from the curb, which we really appreciated!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
