I regularly go for long distance walks and do barbell strength training to ensure I am strong enough to keep your pup safe. I also have experience with kitten care as I raised 2 litters! I am a stay-at-home wife so I am available anytime Monday through Saturday for your pet's needs! I know the Norristown area quite well as to ensure shady, safe walking areas for your pet. Any specifications regarding food, medication, bathroom breaks can be ensured. I also have experience providing ear drops and pills to dogs, and bottle feeding for kittens.
“Jacob was extremely detailed and asked questions I hadn’t thought of in order to make sure my girl had the most positive experience! I am extremely pleased with Jacob’s work.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had seven dogs and six cats, so caring for pets was a part of my everyday life. From feeding and grooming to playtime, walks, and giving them plenty of love and attention, I learned early on what it takes to help pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for mice, turtles, and fish, giving me experience with a variety of animals and their unique needs. I’ve always had pets throughout my life, and caring for animals has never felt like a chore, it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I also spend time feeding and observing backyard birds, which reflects my love and appreciation for all kinds of animals. Whether I’m caring for a playful puppy, an independent cat, or another beloved pet, I treat every animal with the same patience, kindness, and attention I’d want for my own. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day, and I can easily adjust my routine to meet each pet’s individual needs. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. Although I have an unfenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised, and dogs are always kept safely on a leash. We also have a neighborhood with plenty of sidewalks that are perfect for walks and exercise. If your pet is crate trained or you prefer they be crated when unattended or at bedtime, I’m happy to accommodate that routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions carefully to help pets feel secure in their familiar environment. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same respect and care I would my own.
“I just arrived home after a four-day trip, and let me tell you all a thing: this is the calmest my cats have ever been upon my return from being away. Lisa did a fantastic job looking after my two fur babies, so much so that I don’t think they even missed me! And on top of that, she collected my packages for me (none of which were supposed to arrive until after I returned). Thank you so much, Lisa!”

About: Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile and consider me as a care taker for your animal while you are away! I have grown up with dogs (and the occasional bird & fishies). For the past 12 years, I've lived with and visited my best bud Zeke at my parent's house. I would love to have a dog of my own in the future, however for now I am hoping and so happy to take care of other's loved ones during the week and on weekends! I'm an active individual and enjoy taking dogs on walks, for car rides and the occasional ice cream or pup cup. I will give your animal all the love that they've come to expect because they certainly deserve it! Please reach out with any questions, and thanks again for thinking of me! :) I currently work full time (9-5) Monday-Friday, however I usually work from home Friday's and am available on weekends for full time pet care. During the week, I am able to visit (feed, walk, take out for bathroom needs) early in the morning (between 5:30 am to 7 am and in the evening (between 6-9 pm) In my current apartment, pets are welcome visitors. However, I am also happy to visit your home multiple times a day and stay with your pet when needed, especially if you are close! I work only 20 minutes away so I would have ample time in the morning and especially in the evening to stop by to feed, toilet, walk and play with your pet! This is especially great if your pet doesn’t do well in a new environment; I am happy to provide them with everything they’d need in a place where they feel the most comfortable!
About: Since I was young, I’ve loved animals, specifically dogs! I have always had my own dog and have watched many different dogs, large, energetic, and even puppies! I currently work from home and have my own dog, so taking care of another pet whether it be drop ins or walks, is completely doable. My schedule is very flexible and I can work from anywhere. I have a small fenced in yard and a friendly Labrador! He is super energetic so I am constantly walking him and ensuring he gets his energy out.
“Mariah provided friendly, dependable, and courteous drop in care for our senior kitty. He needed medication at the last minute. (When we first booked Mariah , kitty only needed basic drop-in care. But just before we left an issue arose requiring medication.) Mariah handled everything beautifully and with care. Excellent”

“Amanda was amazing with our 2 pups. Both my dogs were so calm and took right to Amanda. Amanda sent pictures with every visit and communication was spot on. We needed someone at last minute and Amanda was very accommodating. Will definitely be using her services in the near future.”

“Julia was amazing!!!! She was great with Henry. She stopped by right on time, took him for a nice walk, and kept me updated with pictures, which I really appreciated. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands while I was away. Henry seemed happy and well cared for when I got home. I'd definitely book with Julia again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”

“Sofia was great! She dropped in twice a day, for 6 days, while we were on vacation. We had an unexpected health issue with our one dog, and she went out of her way to make his life easier while we were gone. We were sent plenty of photos and could see that all of our pets really connected well with Sofia. I would recommend her to anyone who's looking for a great pet sitter!”

“Thank you for making Millie and Yogis visit so fun! When Yogi does his “zoomies” that means he is very happy! Millie said you gave her the hugs she loves. We will definitely rebook with Carolyn when our fur babies need puppy sitting! And especially love the pics!”

“My kitties were very well looked after by Hollie while I was out of town for the week :) Very communicative and sent pictures of playtime with my little guys each day! Reached out immediately with any health concerns and to keep me informed about appearances from my one shy cat that likes to hide for sitters. Cannot recommend her services enough!”

“Amanda is the best! She always goes above and beyond to make sure my pets are well taken care of. She even stopped by an extra time during the heat wave to check that the temperature in the house wasn't too high. Five Stars!”

I previously worked for an animal hospital as a kennel attendant I had the best time caring and playing with each visitor we had. I have experience offering check in visits and walking dogs in any weather (snow, rain, cold, hot). Thank you for your time and I hope to have the opportunity to get to know you and your fur babies! About: My love for dogs has been with me since I was a kid, but it truly took off when I got into hiking and the outdoors! There’s something magical about seeing a dog’s pure excitement on the trail—the way their tail wags nonstop, the burst of energy as they explore, and that unshakable bond they share with their humans. Watching my friends' dogs thrive on these adventures made me realize just how much I love being around dogs, and soon enough, I found myself pet sitting for coworkers while they traveled. That’s when everything clicked—I wasn’t just helping out, I was doing something that brought me real joy! Over the past two years, I’ve gained a deep understanding of dog behavior, problem-solving, and structured care. I know how important trust and communication are when it comes to caring for someone’s pet, and I always keep owners in the loop with updates and insights into their dog’s well-being. I’ve also developed a strong ability to read body language, making sure every dog I watch feels safe, comfortable, and excited for their time with me! Whether it’s juggling multiple dogs with different needs, sticking to medication and feeding schedules, or adapting to new situations with patience and confidence, I’m always ready to step up and provide the best possible care. Now that I’m back home in New Jersey, I’m beyond excited to continue this journey! I’m always looking to grow, learn, and bring even more love and energy to the dogs I care for. For me, pet sitting isn’t just a job—it’s something I truly love doing! I can’t wait to meet your pup and make sure they’re happy, safe, and having the best time ever! I currently have full availability from Thursday to Sunday, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time to your pet. On Monday through Wednesday, I work a flexible schedule that still allows for drop-in services, walks, feeding, and other care needs. I am happy to work with your specific situation and can accommodate hybrid or work-from-home scenarios to ensure your dog receives the attention they deserve. Creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for pets is my top priority! I will adhere to your expectations and routines; Prepare meals and refresh water regularly; Provide daily walks, playtime, and exercises tailored to your dog's needs; maintain hygiene and grooming; Send updates and communication to pet owner; Secure outdoor areas and ensure leash handling during walks.
“Alec was top notch! Our big boy St. Bernard can be a bit grumpy towards strangers but Alec took the time to stop over before the booking service to meet him and bond. He was incredibly kind to our babies- even took time to love on our kitties and send pictures of them though they didn’t need anything. He was reliable and quick with any communication. Can’t say enough about Alec. We will hands down book with him again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Norristown
Jacob was very kind and caring. This was my first time using rover and he was a great first experience. He kept me super updated every visit, left lengthy recaps, and took so many pictures each drop in. He made sure to update me on the status of the food, litter, water etc. Would book again.

Grace was absolutely wonderful with our two cats while we were away! Her communication was thorough and prompt, and she went above and beyond to help with other things that came up around the house. What really stood out was how much quality time she spent with our cats and how genuinely she got to know their individual personalities. Her thoughtful updates and messages gave us so much peace of mind during a long vacation. We came home to two happy cats and a well-cared-for home. We would absolutely recommend Grace and will definitely book her again!

Rachel took excellent care of our two kitties while we went on a weeklong trip to California - she was fantastic! The communication was instant and she shared photo updates daily. She even went above and beyond pet sitting to notify us when the power in our downstairs room went out, watered our plants etc. This was our first time being away after we moved to a new house, so we were worried about how they would handle it. But when we got back, the boys seemed happy and weren’t anxious at all. Our shy kitty was even beginning to warm up to her, which speaks volumes - it usually takes him months to be comfortable around new people. He also gets angsty when we are gone for more than a couple days and spite pees after we return, however this time we had no accidents! Apart from that, she’s truly wonderful and a kind person. We’ll 100% be rebooking with her for future trips!

Si yeon was amazing. We have not been away more than 2 nights since pre-pandemic because our cats don’t do well without us, but we came home to 3 happy, well loved fur babies! We had such a great time knowing they were well loved and cared for. Needless to say, we’ll be taking more trips and booking with Si yeon again. We can’t thank her enough.

Julie did a wonderful job taking care of my cats while I was gone, providing plenty of pictures for me and engagement for them. She was also willing to work with me to get through my building's byzantine security system, which I appreciated. She made my first extended trip away from my cats a stress free experience.

Lisa took great care of our two cats and even sent photos (at least, of the one cat who didn’t hide!)! We rebooked her for the second time and she was as prompt, professional and clear as before with communication. She even helped us out during a drop-in visit by bringing our trash bin from the curb, which we really appreciated!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
