About: Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile and consider me as a care taker for your animal while you are away! I have grown up with dogs (and the occasional bird & fishies). For the past 12 years, I've lived with and visited my best bud Zeke at my parent's house. I would love to have a dog of my own in the future, however for now I am hoping and so happy to take care of other's loved ones during the week and on weekends! I'm an active individual and enjoy taking dogs on walks, for car rides and the occasional ice cream or pup cup. I will give your animal all the love that they've come to expect because they certainly deserve it! Please reach out with any questions, and thanks again for thinking of me! :) I currently work full time (9-5) Monday-Friday, however I usually work from home Friday's and am available on weekends for full time pet care. During the week, I am able to visit (feed, walk, take out for bathroom needs) early in the morning (between 5:30 am to 7 am and in the evening (between 6-9 pm) In my current apartment, pets are welcome visitors. However, I am also happy to visit your home multiple times a day and stay with your pet when needed, especially if you are close! I work only 20 minutes away so I would have ample time in the morning and especially in the evening to stop by to feed, toilet, walk and play with your pet! This is especially great if your pet doesn’t do well in a new environment; I am happy to provide them with everything they’d need in a place where they feel the most comfortable!

Joanna is amazing!!! She took such good care of my two cats while I was overseas. I have a very shy Siamese mix who typically takes awhile to warm up to newcomers and she took to Joanna almost immediately, I’ve never seen her be so affectionate with someone other than me! I think Joanna must be a cat whisperer! She’s incredibly attentive and communicative, and it was so reassuring knowing my girls were in good hands. She made my trip much less stressful! Rachel took excellent care of our two kitties while we went on a weeklong trip to California - she was fantastic! The communication was instant and she shared photo updates daily. She even went above and beyond pet sitting to notify us when the power in our downstairs room went out, watered our plants etc. This was our first time being away after we moved to a new house, so we were worried about how they would handle it. But when we got back, the boys seemed happy and weren’t anxious at all. Our shy kitty was even beginning to warm up to her, which speaks volumes - it usually takes him months to be comfortable around new people. He also gets angsty when we are gone for more than a couple days and spite pees after we return, however this time we had no accidents! Apart from that, she’s truly wonderful and a kind person. We’ll 100% be rebooking with her for future trips!

She kept all of the litter boxes clean and, most importantly, spent quality time playing with my cats so they had interaction and enrichment while we were gone.
