About: Hi! I’m a local dog lover in the Bryn Mawr/Main Line area offering dog walking and in-home pet sitting. I am currently focusing on dog walking as I transition and build my business I’m transitioning into retirement, which gives me a flexible schedule and lets me focus on what I enjoy most—spending time with dogs and making sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for while you’re away or busy. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, and I take the time to get to know each one so they feel comfortable with me right away. Light check-ins, feeding, and morning potty breaks or walks for house sitting clients. ⸻ 🌤 Midday My main dog walking window in the Bryn Mawr/Main Line area. Walks are calm, unhurried, and tailored to each dog’s energy level. ⸻ 🌇 Afternoon Drop-in visits or additional walks if needed, plus companionship time for house sitting stays. ⸻ 🌙 Evening Feeding, evening walks, and making sure pets are settled and comfortable for the night. ⸻ Because I’m transitioning into retirement, I’m able to keep my schedule flexible and focus on providing consistent, attentive care without rushing. I take dogs on long walks. I do have a crate in my home, but typically if I am leaving I set up a bed and den like atmosphere in my second floor laundry room which I gate do the dog stays safe. I run an Airbnb in my third floor so while I can watch dogs in my home, in house at the dog’s home is preferable. I am extremely safety conscious and when I have dogs over I try to keep them in my sight at all times. If they love cuddling, they will get tons of cuddles from me
“Joanna was great. I booked her to drop in to walk my dog. I appreciate her good communication and her follow-up, including a picture and details of her visit. I have already booked her again.”

“Dion provided outstanding drop-in care for my cat, exceeding all expectations. She was always on time and sent photos with her updates. Dion cares deeply about animals. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone seeking a trustworthy, compassionate sitter.”

“Victoria was amazing with my 5 month old puppy, Luka. She walked him even when it was very hot outside but still made sure he got his exercise and outdoor time! She made sure to feed him and give him water, taking care of my pups wellbeing:) I will definitely be rebooking for future walks!!”

“I always feel at ease having Sofia check on my pup. She took great care of him as a naughty puppy and now as an adult dog. She’s reliable, caring, and I highly recommend her!”

“My nervous dog was instantly in love with Talia, and it’s easy to see why! Her warmth, affection, and enthusiasm toward animals is palpable, and we are excited to have her take care of our pup many more times in the future!”

About: I grew up with at least 2 pets in my parents’ house at all times, whether it be dogs (currently a corgi and a pit bull as seen in my profile images) or cats, so I have accumulated a lot of pet care experience in my lifetime just from helping out while my parents worked. Additionally, I have done dog-walking and dog-sitting before for dogs of a variety of breeds and sizes! My extended family, friends, and neighbors have always trusted me as a reliable caregiver for any and all pets. I will keep a loving and safe environment for your pets, making sure they have the best time and showing them love as if they were my own! I hope you consider booking with me! :) I’m currently a full-time college student, but my schedules this semester are blocked out so that I have a lot of time between classes in the week for pet care! I live in a residential apartment in a private college campus, there is a lot of open grass and space for dogs to run around, and walking paths throughout campus great for walks!
“Rhea was amazing! She was warm, responsive, and sent me the best updates I could have asked for. She let me know what my two kitties were up to while I was gone, and gave me so many great pictures. Will absolutely be booking with her again!”

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for pets through my own animals and by helping care for others’ pets. I am the owner of two cats and two dogs, and I’m experienced with daily feeding routines, walks, playtime, litter box care, basic grooming, and monitoring behavior and health. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once and understand the importance of consistency, patience, and attention to each pet’s individual needs. I have extensive experience caring for both cats and dogs, including large breeds such as German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers, as well as small and medium-sized dogs. I previously owned two German Shepherds and currently help care for a Bichon Poodle, Labradoodle, and Standard Poodle. I have also cared for dogs with special needs, including a deaf dog and a dog with seizures, and I am comfortable administering oral medications, whether mixed with food or given directly. I prioritize creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, supported, and cared for. I treat every pet like family and always focus on their comfort, safety, and happiness. I currently work full time, but pet care is a regular part of my daily routine as I care for two cats and two dogs of my own. I am available on weekends and on select weekdays, and during those times I am able to dedicate focused, quality time to feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I’m intentional about scheduling so that pets in my care receive consistent attention, exercise, and affection. I closely monitor pets for changes in behavior or health, and I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs, including administering oral medications. I prioritize a calm, secure, and loving environment so pets feel comfortable, supported, and at ease, whether they are in their own home or mine.

Joanna is amazing!!! She took such good care of my two cats while I was overseas. I have a very shy Siamese mix who typically takes awhile to warm up to newcomers and she took to Joanna almost immediately, I’ve never seen her be so affectionate with someone other than me! I think Joanna must be a cat whisperer! She’s incredibly attentive and communicative, and it was so reassuring knowing my girls were in good hands. She made my trip much less stressful! I highly recommend her for any pet owner!

Aaren is so very attentive, reliable, and sweet towards pets! I was so relieved to have her looking and attending to my gerbils while away in Europe for a week and a half. She is great with communication and truly a wonderful caregiver, going above and beyond!

Julie did a wonderful job taking care of my cats while I was gone, providing plenty of pictures for me and engagement for them. She was also willing to work with me to get through my building's byzantine security system, which I appreciated. She made my first extended trip away from my cats a stress free experience.

Emma was wonderful in taking care of my two cats while we were away. She was reliable, followed through on everything she said she would do, and reached out with questions whenever needed. She kept all of the litter boxes clean and, most importantly, spent quality time playing with my cats so they had interaction and enrichment while we were gone. It gave me great peace of mind knowing they were so well cared for. I would happily book Emma again and highly recommend her!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Radnor. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
