About: I’ve grown up taking care of two Labradors and French Bulldog! I have experience with providing walks, meals, and medications to puppies and senior dogs Currently a half-day Villanova senior, so I am around most afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. After 2pm is ideal, with the exception of Wednesday nights I have a quiet, pet-safe apartment (no access to candles, flowers, sharp objects). About: I’ve had dogs for over 15 years and have always been very hands on with their care. I raised my Yorkie and Dachshund from puppies and cared for them throughout their entire lives. I’ve also watched other dogs, including Corgis, Maltese, and Beagles, and I’m most comfortable with small to medium sized dogs. My two dogs recently passed away after long, happy lives, and I’m not quite ready to have another dog of my own yet. I have always been an animal lover and genuinely love being around animals. I honestly can’t imagine my life without having an animal around, so caring for other people’s pets feels like a wonderful way for me to still have that companionship while giving their families peace of mind. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs because I cared for my own senior dog through lymphoma, heart disease, kidney disease, and seizures. I’m used to the extra attention, patience, and observation they may need, and I’m comfortable giving medications, injections, or medication with food when needed. Most of all, I truly enjoy caring for animals and getting to know their individual personalities and routines. I know how much pets mean to their families, so when I watch someone’s pet, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and at home, not like they are simply being boarded somewhere. I work from home three days a week, so I’m around the house most of the time. On the days I do go into work, my office is only about a 15 minute drive away and my schedule is flexible, so I can come home when needed. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and will do my best to keep the same feeding, potty, walking, and medication schedule they’re used to at home. I want your pet’s stay to feel as normal and comfortable as possible. Safety is always my top priority. I have a fenced backyard, so dogs can have safe outdoor time without being loose or unattended. Having recently cared for a senior dog with several health issues, I’m very used to paying attention to small changes in a dog’s behavior, appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems different. If I notice something unusual, I’ll let you know rather than assuming it’s nothing. My own dogs recently passed away, so when your dog stays with me, they are the only pet in the house. I’m also very careful about keeping things out of reach. My Dachshund was always somehow able to find things he was not supposed to eat, so I became very used to keeping food, small objects, and anything potentially unsafe put away.

“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. For the past 12 years, I've lived with and visited my best bud Zeke at my parent's house. However, I am also happy to visit your home multiple times a day and stay with your pet when needed, especially if you are close! I work only 20 minutes away so I would have ample time in the morning and especially in the evening to stop by to feed, toilet, walk and play with your pet! This is especially great if your pet doesn’t do well in a new environment; I am happy to provide them with everything they’d need in a place where they feel the most comfortable!

I take dogs on long walks. I do have a crate in my home, but typically if I am leaving I set up a bed and den like atmosphere in my second floor laundry room which I gate do the dog stays safe. I run an Airbnb in my third floor so while I can watch dogs in my home, in house at the dog’s home is preferable. I am extremely safety conscious and when I have dogs over I try to keep them in my sight at all times. If they love cuddling, they will get tons of cuddles from me

About: I’ve grown up taking care of two Labradors and French Bulldog! I have experience with providing walks, meals, and medications to puppies and senior dogs Currently a half-day Villanova senior, so I am around most afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. After 2pm is ideal, with the exception of Wednesday nights I have a quiet, pet-safe apartment (no access to candles, flowers, sharp objects). I would be happy to set up a crate, food and water bowls, or pet beds.

“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. I would definitely trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”
