About: I have worked in the veterinary field for 4 years as a veterinary assistant. I started pet sitting for my family members and neighbors for their cats and dogs. I have pet sit and walked dogs of all sizes but I have the most experience dog walking medium sized dogs between 40-70lbs from labs to pit bulls. I’m currently attending the university of Delaware and have class Monday through Friday! I’m most available on Wednesday after 3, Thursdays after 2, and Fridays after 12. Sundays I’m free all day! About: Since I was young, I’ve loved animals, specifically dogs! I have always had my own dog and have watched many different dogs, large, energetic, and even puppies! About: I can definitely say I’ve grown up surrounded by animals. Throughout my life, my family has always had dogs, and at one point we had three living in our home at the same time. While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I have plenty of experience caring for my longtime boyfriend’s dogs whenever his family is away. I will make sure doors, gates, and windows are securely closed at all times to prevent escapes and will only use leashes or harnesses as instructed during walks. I’ll also keep an eye out for anything that could be unsafe, such as foods, household items, or objects your pet shouldn’t have access to. In addition to keeping your pet physically safe, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I never had the opportunity to meet Allison because she doesn't do first time meetings with the dog or owner, but the person who was staying at our house said she was lovely, and our dog seemed happy. She sent notes and pictures, which was nice. I only wish I had been able to meet her.
