“Jacob is great!!! He has a great personality, he's was really good with my dog and very caring. Great communication. He sent me a really nice update after walking Lucas. Highly highly recommended. He's the BEST!!!!! I'll definitely keep working with him.”

“Julia was an amazing help with two last minute walks I needed. She is kind, friendly, flexible and truly was an amazing help with my dog Phoenix. I would recommend her again and again, and hopefully will use her again soon. Thank you Julia!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better first-time Rover experience! Ridgley was communicative, flexible, professional, and incredibly caring for my Pancho. I will absolutely be calling on Ridgley again for peace-of-mind dog care while I am away from my guy.”

“Nico has been great. Tessa is so happy when he comes to the door to get her, and she's tired when she gets home. That's always a good sign. He gives her the exercise she needs and he obviously knows and loves dogs. I highly recommend Nico.”

About: I have worked in the veterinary field for 4 years as a veterinary assistant. I started pet sitting for my family members and neighbors for their cats and dogs. I have pet sit and walked dogs of all sizes but I have the most experience dog walking medium sized dogs between 40-70lbs from labs to pit bulls. I’m currently attending the university of Delaware and have class Monday through Friday! I’m most available on Wednesday after 3, Thursdays after 2, and Fridays after 12. Sundays I’m free all day! I am well experienced with dogs and cats of all sizes from my experience working at a vets office. I will gladly play, walk, or just entertain and watch your pet as you deem necessary.

“Ella was PHENOMENAL! She was kind, communicative, punctual, and sent lots of pictures. She even went above and beyond to help us out when I made a booking error, I really appreciated her exceptional service and the care she gave to my pets. We will absolutely book again!! 10 stars!!!”

“Absolute breeze from day 1. Alejandra is a great communicator and she makes it easy to trust her with my dog. This was only my 2nd time using Rover and she made it so much easier to be able to go away and have the peace of mind that my girl’s ok. Great experience! Already rebooked for another walk!”

About: After many years living (and dog sitting!) in NYC, I relocated to King of Prussia, PA. I now live with my two kids (ages 4 and 6) in a house with a fully fenced yard—plenty of safe space for pups to run, play, and relax. We don’t currently have pets of our own, so visiting dogs get lots of individual attention and love. My kids absolutely adore dogs and are gentle, respectful, and excited to help care for our furry guests. I’m a lifelong dog lover with a soft spot for boxers and other large breeds. I previously had a boxer and also raised a Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue, so I’m very comfortable with big, high-energy dogs. I believe in calm, confident handling—firm when needed, but always gentle and affectionate. Our home is kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and laid-back. I’m usually available on weekends, with occasional flexibility for Fridays or Mondays depending on my work schedule. Feel free to check out my reviews from NYC clients! I’m available for boarding on weekends and for walks or drop-in visits on weekdays after 6 p.m. Our home has a fenced yard for play and plenty of cozy space for relaxing. Your pup will get lots of love and attention from both me and my dog-loving kids! In my home, visiting dogs enjoy a fenced yard for safe outdoor play, regular walks, and plenty of cuddle time inside. I stick to their usual routines as much as possible—whether that means scheduled feedings, crate time, or medication. When doing walks or drop-ins at a client’s home, I always make sure pets feel comfortable and cared for, giving them attention, exercise, and any specific care instructions you provide. My goal is to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home—whether they’re staying with us or I’m visiting them!
About: Hi there! We’re Andy and Uelke, and we’d love to care for your dog while you’re away! We absolutely love dogs and frequently volunteer to watch our friends’ and family’s pups whenever they need a sitter. We’ve grown up with dogs all our lives and have experience with all ages. Andy works from home, which gives us flexibility to provide your dog with plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Uelke works as a Scientist, spending three days at the office and two days working from home, which means there is always someone around to keep your dog company. We’re also available on weekends to give your pup extra attention and love! In our home, we provide a safe, loving environment with a spacious, fenced-in backyard for your dog to play and explore. We ensure plenty of exercise, attention, and affection throughout the day, and our super friendly dog loves to socialize with new furry friends. We also keep your pup on their usual routine, offering walks, playtime, and relaxing moments.

About: I’ve been around and caring for dogs for years, including walking dogs throughout my neighborhood since childhood and dog sitting throughout college. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels and love keeping them active with walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m dependable and attentive to each dog’s individual routine and needs. I work full-time, but my job is fully remote, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day to care for your pets. I’m able to provide regular walks, check-ins, playtime, and attention during the workday, and I’m especially flexible on weekends. For weekend stays, I can devote my time and attention to your pets and make sure they receive plenty of care, exercise, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new requires trust, so I’m committed to following your instructions carefully and keeping you updated while you’re away. I’ll maintain your pet’s normal routine as much as possible, pay close attention to their behavior and needs, and make sure they are in a safe, comfortable, and caring environment. I’m also happy to communicate regularly and send updates or photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I can definitely say I’ve grown up surrounded by animals. Throughout my life, my family has always had dogs, and at one point we had three living in our home at the same time. While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I have plenty of experience caring for my longtime boyfriend’s dogs whenever his family is away. About three years ago, I moved in with a roommate who has a cat, which was my first real introduction to caring for cats. If I’m being honest, I fell in love with them almost instantly! While dogs will always be where I feel the most comfortable because of my lifelong experience with them, I truly enjoy spending time with both dogs and cats. I always make it a priority to make sure dogs get plenty of playtime, attention, exercise, and affection so they feel happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I am freshly graduated with my masters degree in social work. I’m currently working part time as a server while also job searching and studying for my ASWB. I serve around four to five days a week but my schedule varies weekly. Keeping your pet safe is always my top priority. I will carefully follow all instructions you provide regarding your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, medications (if needed), and any special care requirements. I will make sure doors, gates, and windows are securely closed at all times to prevent escapes and will only use leashes or harnesses as instructed during walks. I’ll also keep an eye out for anything that could be unsafe, such as foods, household items, or objects your pet shouldn’t have access to. In addition to keeping your pet physically safe, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I will also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe and happy.

About: I provide reliable, attentive care tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. I’m patient and can reinforce basic training like leash manners and sit/stay. I’m also gentle and mindful with senior dogs, moving at their pace and monitoring comfort. I communicate clearly with owners, send regular updates, and truly treat every dog like my own. I current work from home during the week most days except Tuesdays. I can walk dogs on my breaks or after work! I prefer Monday’s and Wednesdays with my schedule. My roommate has a cat and I used to have a Maltese mix, I’m a dog lover and I’m looking to brighten my days with some friendly pups.
About: Since I was young, I’ve loved animals, specifically dogs! I have always had my own dog and have watched many different dogs, large, energetic, and even puppies! I currently work from home and have my own dog, so taking care of another pet whether it be drop ins or walks, is completely doable. My schedule is very flexible and I can work from anywhere. I have a small fenced in yard and a friendly Labrador! He is super energetic so I am constantly walking him and ensuring he gets his energy out.
About: My love for dogs has been with me since I was a kid, but it truly took off when I got into hiking and the outdoors! There’s something magical about seeing a dog’s pure excitement on the trail—the way their tail wags nonstop, the burst of energy as they explore, and that unshakable bond they share with their humans. Watching my friends' dogs thrive on these adventures made me realize just how much I love being around dogs, and soon enough, I found myself pet sitting for coworkers while they traveled. That’s when everything clicked—I wasn’t just helping out, I was doing something that brought me real joy! Over the past two years, I’ve gained a deep understanding of dog behavior, problem-solving, and structured care. I know how important trust and communication are when it comes to caring for someone’s pet, and I always keep owners in the loop with updates and insights into their dog’s well-being. I’ve also developed a strong ability to read body language, making sure every dog I watch feels safe, comfortable, and excited for their time with me! Whether it’s juggling multiple dogs with different needs, sticking to medication and feeding schedules, or adapting to new situations with patience and confidence, I’m always ready to step up and provide the best possible care. Now that I’m back home in New Jersey, I’m beyond excited to continue this journey! I’m always looking to grow, learn, and bring even more love and energy to the dogs I care for. For me, pet sitting isn’t just a job—it’s something I truly love doing! I can’t wait to meet your pup and make sure they’re happy, safe, and having the best time ever! I currently have full availability from Thursday to Sunday, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time to your pet. On Monday through Wednesday, I work a flexible schedule that still allows for drop-in services, walks, feeding, and other care needs. I am happy to work with your specific situation and can accommodate hybrid or work-from-home scenarios to ensure your dog receives the attention they deserve. Creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for pets is my top priority! I will adhere to your expectations and routines; Prepare meals and refresh water regularly; Provide daily walks, playtime, and exercises tailored to your dog's needs; maintain hygiene and grooming; Send updates and communication to pet owner; Secure outdoor areas and ensure leash handling during walks.

About: I’ve loved and been around animals since childhood. Growing up, my family had both cats and dogs. As an adult, I now have 2 cats of my own. I’m very passionate about human-animal connection. I am currently a graduate student taking night classes two days a week. This is something I’m hoping to fill my spare time with :) I view and treat animals with the same respect as I do people. Pets need not only the necessities, but a high level of emotional attention.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
