🦮🐈⬛With over 10 years of experience at a veterinary hospital—where I shadowed my father, a veterinarian—I’m confident in caring for pets with special needs, administering medications, and understanding animal behavior. I currently have one cat who gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs, as she previously lived with dogs too. 🐱I’ve had my cat, Sibong, for four years and have never missed a day of dedicated play—15 minutes, four times a day. I’m especially skilled at keeping cats active, engaged, and happy. 🐶While I’m a cat person at heart, I’m equally passionate about dogs. I volunteered for three years at the Philadelphia Animal Shelter, where I gained extensive experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. This experience taught me how to read canine body language, handle various behavioral needs, and provide affectionate care. I enjoy walking, cuddling, and spending quality time with dogs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved.

My experience walking dogs at the Philadelphia Animal Shelter has taught me how to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and care. For cats, I always ask about what they enjoy for fun and whether they prefer playtime, quiet companionship, or a little of both. If we’re doing home boarding, I’ll also check if your cat needs to be separated from mine, who is very friendly and has experience living with both dogs and cats. No matter what your pet needs, I’m committed to giving them the best possible care in a loving, safe environment.

My father was a veterinarian at a pet hospital in Korea, where I gained hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals for nearly 10 years. This included administering medications and caring for pets with special needs. I also have experience volunteering at a pet shelter and working with a rescue team as part of my pre-med activities. Currently working in the medical field, I bring both compassion and practical care skills to every animal I look after.

Si yeon was so caring and patient with my 3 cats, who are all so different. She was understanding with one cat who was cautious and slow to warm up and another who is very shy and only wanted to hide. Once the cats were feeling more comfortable, she gave them lots of cuddles and play and was very communicative with us throughout. She left our litter area in perfect condition! I’ll absolutely reach out to Si yeon for our upcoming trips.
