About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 12 years old and have experience with a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and even snakes. Having grown up with dogs of my own, I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine. I love spending time outdoors and enjoy taking dogs on long walks, whether they prefer a leisurely stroll or need a good workout to burn off energy. My goal is to provide safe, attentive, and loving care so your pet feels happy and comfortable while you’re away, and you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I am currently in nursing school, which gives me a flexible schedule with pockets of time available throughout the week between classes and studying. I’m accustomed to early mornings and enjoy starting my day with outdoor activity, making walks and playtime with pets a great break from my studies. I love being active outside and would enjoy incorporating your pet into my routine, whether that means a long walk, some playtime, or simply providing companionship and attention throughout the day. My schedule allows me to be reliable and attentive while still balancing my academic responsibilities. The safety and well-being of your pet is my top priority. I will take time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, triggers, and any specific needs before providing care. I will always follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and home routines, and I will be attentive to your pet’s behavior and surroundings. During walks, I will use proper leash safety, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure your pet is comfortable and secure at all times. As a nursing student, I am trained to be detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and attentive to changes in health or behavior. I will provide regular updates and communicate with you throughout your pet’s care so you can feel confident that your furry family member is safe and well cared for.
“Anas has been amazing with our dog Chiqui! She’s super energetic and loves to pull on the leash, but Anas handles her like a pro. He’s patient, reliable, and always takes great care of her during their walks. We’re so glad to have found him—Chiqui loves her time with him! Highly recommend!”

“The nice lady came over with treats and took us outside. It was raining. We didn’t get to play in the mud. When we came back inside she dried us off. It was like a massage. Then the nice lady played with us and our toys. She took all these pictures of us for our moms to see. We know our moms are so happy we are well taken care of. Thanks for playing with us.~ Kya and Karat”

“Lori B. has been a great walker for my dog. He is very comfortable with her and I know she is fully responsible and a great caretaker of my little guy. Thank you Lori!”

About: I've grown up with cats, and have been a personal pet sitter for the past couple of years in my local neighborhood. I previously worked at a dog daycare/boarding business and have learned many different skills with dogs. I also used to have a foster dog whom I was able to train and care for continuously for 6 months. I am currently a full-time student at UNF, but have pretty open availability. I am mostly looking to help out within clients' homes, whether it's walking your dog and/or letting them out to play, or just stopping in to check on your cat! I am fully dedicated to caring for all your pets! I love animals and will do whatever it takes to give them the love and attention they need!
About: My genuine love for animals, attention to detail, and commitment to ensuring each pet feels safe, loved, and truly happy during every walk and visit Pet care fits into my routine perfectly after work, starting at least at 6:00 p.m. It is my way of unwinding while spending quality time with animals. I always provide pet care at the client’s home, ensuring pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, maintaining routines, and feeding schedules, and giving plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise to keep pets happy and stress-free.
“Hannah is amazing with my very grumpy and feisty dog! She’s not deterred by his attitude and handles him so well for walks a couple of times a day! I feel so comfortable knowing Hannah is so capable and loving toward him despite his attitude problem!”

“David did a great job (confidently) walking my large dog with a prey drive. He went above an beyond by sending picture updates, taking extra time to walk her in a park, and refilled her treat toy after the walk. I already rebooked another walk and plan on booking more.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds, including Great Danes, Huskies, German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, and Blue Heelers. Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. Over the years, friends and coworkers have trusted me to help care for their pups, whether that means walking, bathing, providing a safe and fun place to spend the day, or simply giving them the attention and exercise they need. I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I also have experience with essential training and care routines, including potty training, basic obedience, and crate training. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m patient, attentive, and committed to making sure each pup feels comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Whether your dog needs a reliable walker, a playful companion, or a calm and structured environment, I’m here to help! I work from home and create my own schedule, which gives me a great deal of flexibility and reliability when it comes to caring for your fur babies. My availability is generally very open, and I’m always happy to stay in full communication—providing updates, answering questions, or checking in whenever you need. I do have two kids who are active in sports, so there may occasionally be a soccer game on the weekend or a practice during the week. That said, I plan my schedule carefully to ensure the pets in my care always receive the attention and consistency they deserve. If you happen to see limited availability on certain dates, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly. I’m often able to adjust my schedule or make accommodations to help meet your needs! Your pup will feel right at home here! We have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor play, as well as kennels/crates available if needed to match your dog’s routine and comfort level. We also have two playful and friendly dogs who are great with both kids and other pups. They love making new friends, whether that means running around the yard, playing together, or relaxing inside. (And yes—zoomies around the house do happen from time to time!) Of course, any interaction with our dogs is always based on your comfort level and your pet’s needs. Our home is a loving, relaxed environment where dogs are treated like family. They’re welcome to snuggle on the couch, get plenty of exercise, and enjoy a consistent routine. Feedings are typically twice a day, with the occasional well-earned treat. While your pet is in my care, I’ll stay in close communication with you—sharing updates, photos, and reassurance so you always know your furry family member is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I have had a dog since I was a kid and taken care of friends' dogs too. I love animals and will make your dog my own. I am not doing this to make money (that is why my prices are lower than most) but to teach my daughter responsibility. She loves dogs and all the money is going to her as she is my little assistant. I currently work full-time, but will take your dog on long walks (if desired) and give your little boy/girl lots of love and attention. If needed, I can come home during the day to let your dog out. I have a fenced in yard and a walking trail by my house. Also, lots of room and a kid to take care of and love your pup.
About: I have owned dogs since I was little and I have had all ages from puppy stage to senior stage and I love every one of them they will be in good hands with me I promise :-) I am excited to start my journey as I retire from the University of Florida after 23 years :-) I have three pups of my own two chiweenies and one senior terrier. At this time I cannot offer in-home service. I can offer walks drop-ins and pick up items for you on the way to come take care of your babies

About: My brother and I work from home, so your fur baby will get plenty of love and attention throughout their stay! I’ve cared for dogs for over 10 years, to include caring for senior dogs through end of life care. During the day I’m a special education tutor, so have tons of patience and empathy! I’m comfortable administering medication, caring for hot spots or other treatments to vet orders, and keeping a watchful eye while you’re away! Part time tutor, part time studying for law school, so your pup will get plenty of belly scratches and one on one attention. My dog loves being around other four legged friends, so they will have a built in bestie to run around with (or just sit around with). I either work from home or have two hour sessions with my clients. My brother lives with me, so someone will almost always be around to let the dogs out and give them plenty of love and attention. I have a fenced in backyard, with one playful and sweet young dog who loves everyone she meets. We are a very dog focused household, and are in the process of installing a doggy door so the pups can go in/out as they please (when we are home, it will be locked when out running errands).
“Taylor was the best, most reliable dog walker I’ve ever hired. Showed up on time for each walk and was super flexible when I had to change the time of one of the walks! I highly recommend her and know that she will be the one I hire the next time I need help with my pups!”

She was amazing with my dogs! She made sure they fully did all their business before bringing them back inside, which I really appreciated. She also went above and beyond by cleaning up after them without hesitation, which gave me so much peace of mind. On top of that, she sent a great amount of pictures during their walks, so I always knew they were happy and well taken care of. Highly recommend her!

I can’t recommend her enough! She has amazing communication and always keeps me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind. She goes above and beyond—she’s cleaned up my dog’s accidents without hesitation and even takes my dog out longer than requested just to make sure they were happy and well cared for. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and that means everything to me. Highly recommend! 🐾

My dog liked Lilianna from day one but now after just a few walks he practically does backflips when he sees her. And she sends me cute photos during their walks. I feel lucky to have found Lilianna and will have her watch our cat too when needed. If I trust her with my babies, that says everything. She is perfect!

“Mr Jackson” has been walking Lucy for a week-he really saved us after I had surgery! Lucy is a sweet dog with a lot of personality, and Jackson has been patient and also very willing to listen and learn how to best care for her on walks. He’s also just a good hearted and friendly person. Thanks for the walks!-lucy

- 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
